Well I mean it's just a bar, so if you into that kinda thing. There is normally a DJ at night, and people there are friendly for the most part. Drink prices aren't the worst, I can stomach it. They have 3 pool tables, a casino area (never been in though), they do those Hookah or Shisha pipes, as well as having padded couches and like "booths"/tables if you want to go wild with your friends buying bottles. All in all I normally have fun when I visit, but am by no means a regular if I'm honest. If you in the area, why not try?

Come to zevolis every single day to play pool with friends, and to have few drinks, we would meet new people, and that was a good place to be in, at the time i was still studying. Today when i come around things had changed, the dynamic of the vibrant bar is gone, sorry to say that. But its no longer excited, based on the way it was...

It's a dump at the best of times. The oriental owners are rude, the beer always warm and music too loud. Do not even try and go to the toilet unless you would like a whole lot of unfriendlies to go home with you. It leaves a lot to be desired and I'm not sure how they got or keep their licence. Staff at the bar are normally as unhelpful as they can be.

It's a student bar. Service is not that great and the place itself is not well maintained. However, I guess that is what allows them to keep their prices affordable. It's no VIP experience but you'll get some good music and meet some good people without breaking bank. It does get rowdy sometimes though

It's a decent place to get cheap drinks however the place isn't well looked after and doesn't have a great atmosphere, the people that go there were not people I would interact with and it wouldn't be my first choice to go there. My friends and I just attended for the decent priced drinks.

This place is not clean and their bathroom/toilets too. When you come out of that place you come out smelling nasty because people smoke inside the bar. So Zevolis is not suitable for none smokers. Its bad bar to ne at when you want to chill without smelling cigarettes and other stuff.

Zevolis Bar is like to me a community of people I have known for years and meeting there is like going to your uncle's house and chilling with your cousins. The manager is friendly and very on toes when it comes to tidyness and the happiness of his customers is something he upholds.

Bar lady sold 2 patrons 2 castles lites for 50 and when l asked she say l will charge you more....and l said no cause of what l saw ...in all honestly that's ridiculous..great establishment but I will never go again guard was very aggressive chasing us away while other can still buy

The have quartz a traditional way of drinking in the eastern cape so I have a soft stop for place like this. It's not as fancy as a long street but main road rondebosch is safer than long street at night these days. If people just don't pick pocket maybe I would go out more.

The Asian owners really do not care about their business. The place stinks... Literally. The bouncers are only there for extra tips from criminals wanting to enter, harass and steal from people. The place shouldn't have survived after the pandemic. Yuck

Place is good for cheap alcohol. But not very good if you have guests. You can go alone, or with friends that know that it's not a fancy place. It's just a place for cheap booze in Rondebosch. It's not fancy, it's just okay. Customer

The atmosphere is amazing and the place is usually filled with kind hearted intellectuals who are happy to share their expertise over a quart or more. They serve any type of drink but most prefer their low price beer quarts.

Honestly this is the worse bar with no one answering the phone for enquiries. Very dark and not very clean. Not your average upmarket bar and not the type of people you would normally socialize with. Avoid if you can.

very safe...bouncers are like my brothers since first year n im in 3rd year now...if u wanna party n be free n loosen up this is the place 4 u...any tribe,nationality,culture embraced n accommodated for..!!

Was awesome . Vibe and music was good. Had est seats. Bouncers stricked but always good sense of humour. Set up is pro inside. Well done guys . And manager treat everyone lime his own personel customer .

Haybo! The bouncer came up to us, said they are closing soon, we showed him we have drinks to finish on the table, does he not smack all our drinks to the floor to our horror?? Like WTH?? Trash!!

My second time visiting and won't go back quickly.. the lady serving at the Bar I think she is called Gerty...was very arrogant and impolite towards customers and she was intoxicated...

By the time you leave the place you smell like cigarettes!!! Place need to have a smoking area! I can't even my beer cos there is a guy next to me blowing me with cigarettes smoke !!!

The best place to have fun from playing a game of pool to dancing with friends. Top of the list music with different DJs on event nights and resident DJ always at it's best.

They sometimes play unnecessarily loud music that clearly damages your hearing at a concerning rate. The bar is nice, but sometimes the DJ must just get off.

For its purpose, it does rather well in terms of convenience, simplicity, ambience and personal space inside the bar. It’s a bar. And it’s good.‍♂️

Toilets are filthy, pool boards are leaning. The upside is that the pizza place next door offers 3 large pizzas for R150 and its actually decent pizzas.

It's refreshing and the vibe it's cool.... But the bouncers they start chasing people out before you're done with your beers.... Which is unacceptable.

It's a great place to play pool, there is a dance floor with live DJ sets and newly renovated bathrooms. It also gets pretty crowded on weekends.

Expect a lot of drinking and gqom music. A mix of age groups and ethnicities. Small space but energetic leaving you hungry after closing at 2 am

If you're a student or looking for a place to drink and get down with people, this is your place. It's a younger crowd that likes to get drunk.

If your goal is just relatively cheap alcohol and maybe the vibe, then good for you. Otherwise, it's not a very hygienically great place.

the prices are nice but it gets to crowd and whtsap with big sizes drinks only .you get a beer 660ml they don't sell the 330ml .

Bathroom facilities for males are stinky and dirty. There a few toilet facilities in the male bathroom that are out of order.

If you like a tarven, you'll like it. There's nothing wrong with the place, just wasn't the type of place I like to go to

Must be a smoker to survive there, fans aren't working, NO smoking area, no fresh air coming in, its a mess.

It's a student place, but they must think about the cleaning of the toilet and put some light in it.

If you go there and Ask for Gamu the bar tender ahe is so nice and friendly what a nice place.
