I went today to get my blood pressure checked because I was feeling dizzy and nauseous. The woman who "assisted" me told me right away that they were not testing anyone at that moment. Then I asked when would they do it again and she said that they didn't do it during lunch time (it was already 2pm), so I had to ask again when she thought they could do it and she said that if I wanted, I could simply wait for another hour and maybe try again and asked me, uninterested, if I had a history of high blood pressure which I responded saying that I do have it for low blood pressure instead. Then I asked where I could get it checked if it wasn't there and she said that in a different pharmacy, but not there because they were busy - and then she pointed at the 5 people who were just queuing behind me, basically dismissing me. I then managed to go to Boots, beside McDonald's, where everybody went above and beyond to assist me and make sure I left feeling better after confirming I was having a drop in blood pressure, even when the store was packed with customers.
I came in here with a sizeable budget to buy a whole new range of skincare. Was not attended to, and when I asked for help I was barked at with one word answers. Had to request that the SA leave the skincare desk and actually show me the product. Assistant didn't seem to be knowledgeable at all in La Roche Posay - I asked for bigger sizes of product than the gift set (ie I want to spend more money in your shop) and I was just told no, assistant barked at me and waved her hand around the display before turning and walking away. Embarrassing and disappointing experience. Couldn't believe how I was treated, needless to say I took my money elsewhere. If you're going to stock these expensive brands please have a person on hand who is willing to attend to customers. I doubt La Roche Posay would be happy with how their product is being sold.
Had a ridiculous and demeaning encounter with staff in this store today. Asked for Migraleve and was told that they cannot sell it to me unless I have a note from a doctor stating I get migraines. This is not true. If that was the case I would need a prescription. But this is a product that is sold over the counter. A prescription is not needed. I then asked for Solpadeine and was outright refused. I was not even asked the standard questions. The interaction was demeaning and embarrassing and I am absolutely disgusted. I would not bother going in again if that’s the way you treat your customers. Staff on a pathetic power trip. Absolutely horrible experience.
The friendliest and most caring staff who go out of their way for you. I had an issue with my prescription and they called my GP to sort it out there and even so I didn’t have to wait to go back to the doctors. Offered to call me to see how I was getting on. They listen attentively and compassionately to your health issues. Please bring back the student discount though. It makes a huge difference to a student.
The best pharmacy I have dealt with by far, as I have a long term illness I have been to quite a few in my life! Kind staff and the pharmacists as well as the other members of staff always make sure you are well looked after, top notch customer service. They have been doing tremendous work throughout this pandemic as all frontline workers have, it is a 5 star place!
Arrived at Grafton St branch on Saturday at 5.54. They say they are open till 6.00. I needed an offf the shelf product for indigestion that would have taken 2 mins to sell to me, but the doorman ushered me out of yhe shop, the sales asst. screaming that they were closed. Advice to you .. If your not open till 6.00pm, don't say you are.
Popped into Grafton Street store to get some antihistamines for my allergies. Pameka was extremely helpful and even offered me a cup of water so that I could take one for relief immediately. Will continue to support Hickeys always instead of big brand pharmacies like boots because the customer service is always above and beyond 10/10
Some of the staff are extremely rude. I had a very unpleasant encounter with one person. My sister also had a bad experience in this pharmacy with another member of staff. She was extremely upset. I did not realise it was the same pharmacy until she disclosed the name. In dire need of customer service training.
Avoid this shop like the plague, the rudest staff ever. The female manager accused me of stealing because I placed the sample bottle back but she couldn't see it, which she did later notice. Horrible customer service, I used to buy perfume here every year whilst shopping but never again! Disgraceful
I am a loyal and ongoing customer with Hickeys. Always a lovely chat and welcome with Yvonne and her excellent team. Today, I was insulted, misunderstood, upset, traumatised, by your pharmacist, over a simple error in my prescription. I am known by the staff, I am 75, and deeply offended.
I went to do my 24h Covid test before returning home and for no reason, the employees of Hickey's Pharmacy at Dublin (Grafton Street) treat me miserably. My guess is that the Pharmacy treats the employees as they treat their customers. Find a better place to do your tests.
Such a lovely experience in here today. They made up a beautiful baby gift basket for me, and even gave me a few extra gifts with it. The team here are all so pleasant and friendly. Will definitely shop here more often.
Went in to get a blister plaster and the girl behind the counter went out of her way to help me. She was so friendly and gave me an alcohol wipe, letting me use the consultation room to put it on!
N’y aller jamais Les pharmaciennes sont irrespectueuse C’est des radins Ils nous font attendre 30 minutes pour une plaquette de médicament. Lamentable C’est une honte
I love the customer service I got every time I go there, but today was extremely good, a girl called Aya make my day, she was super nice and helpful, I’m so thankful
Terrible customer service with rude and condescending staff, do yourself a favour and make the short trip to Boots instead, only a few minutes walk away
staff are rude and unwelcoming. They also watch you and stare at you a lot making you uncomfortable. I would suggest going anywhere else
Very rude old woman with dark hair working there early one morning, No manners at all. I abandoned the transaction and left in protest.
Very bad service, manager and staff have no Idea what they are doing, for sure they all need have better training for their Job.
They sell face mask for 3,50 per pcs.... It is corona time... This place should be closed for ever
Very nice and helpful staff, especially Stephanie who went out of her way to help me yesterday.
Always rude staff every time I go in, can you not teach your employees some basic manners?
I went there to take my passport photos today and the staff was very nice and helpful.
An efficient and polite pharmacy. Is there anything else you could want in a pharmacy?
Don’t go to this pharmacy, go somewhere else. Any pharmacy is better than this one.
Went in for a box of rennies got charged €6.00 Same box in aldi for €4.00??
