Justin and Garry from Home Town Electrical were literal life savers. We experienced sparking in our electrical panel which could have easily caused a house fire. We called their 24/7 number and they picked up immediately. Justin prioritized our service call, came out and immediately knew what was the problem. He gave us excellent detailed descriptions of what was wrong, how to fix it, and was a great conversation throughout his work. He answered all my questions and made sure to come back for a full panel installation the very next day with all the materials he needed. He made sure everything was neat and organized before he left. He even made sure to help me label the whole panel correctly, and everything inside the panel is now to code. You wouldn't think an electrical panel could look so pretty, but I have to admit this was a 100% improvement from our last one! I had the unfortunate experience of losing my power while I was baking this morning. I tried on my own to replace the fuses in my old 1959 bungalow but even then, nothing worked. Our home breaker box blew up on a cold Sunday night (of course) and the house was smelling of burning plastic. We've never had this issue before so we are completely lost at what to do. I called them to troubleshoot a lighting issue in my garage and they were able to come within an hour of my call to do that as well as to replace worn out switches with new ones, resolve my lighting issue in the space under my stairs by installing a new light fixture, and upgrade my panel by installing a surge protector. All the work was done quickly and efficiently and I was kept informed throughout the entire process what was being done and why. I can't say enough good things about them and I will definitely call them back for all my future lighting and electrical projects.

Justin came to our apartment (which we rent) on Family Day after we lost power late on Saturday night. Justin seemed extremely competent, thorough and was very friendly, kept us informed and explained his findings to us, and was forgiving of our cats being around (only so much you can do with a small apartment!) I also saw the bill and the price was extremely reasonable for the amount of time he spent here on short notice on a holiday. I would not hesitate to recommend them!

Not very happy with the conversation I had with whomever I spoke to I had called to get a rough estimate of how much it would cost to fix my kitchen light as I have been without a kitchen light for 11 months now and my landlord will not fix it. During the phone call very rudely was I told “I’m very busy for months on end go find someone else I can’t do nothing for you”. Will never call back nor even possibly recommend this company to anyone.

We have been exceptionally impressed by Home Town Electrical. The service was professional, and extremely comprehensive in detecting the problem. When a follow-on issue arose, Justin agreed to come back, double check and inspect again. Even though unrelated to the original problem, he only charged a small fee because he said it was about the customer. Called them to have a have a fuse box switched to a breaker box and the man who answered the phone completely blew me off! Told me he wasn't interested in providing the service with no explanation given. He almost seemed annoyed I had called...a little odd since the website says they specialize in home wiring and specifically mentions fuse boxes.....very rude.
