Visiting Chicago to see some family and we wanted to find a spot where we could grab a few drinks. Right off of Rush st we found the Hopsmith. They had plenty of seating and large assortment of beers on draft. The bartender (Joe Charles Kennedy) was friendly and offered recommendations. We ordered the pretzels they were delicious. Hope to come back next time we are in town.

We were here last Saturday and loved it! Bradley was our server and he was awesome from the minute we sat down. He was very busy - but he made sure to communicate that and let us know he'd be with us ASAP, and he was! I love when restaurants are busy, but the server still makes sure to let you know you are seen. We enjoyed our food, drinks and the atmosphere.

The atmosphere and top-notch service at this place, and the service was truly outstanding. I opted for "The MichaelAngelo," and it didn't quite live up to the picture on the menu. The portion was disappointing; the meat seemed as thin as White Castle. I'd definitely return for the wonderful atmosphere and a refreshing beer but explore other dining options for my meal.

Wanted a quieter place to watch Monday night football last week. Hopsmith was perfect for our needs. We were able to have a conversation while watching the game. Our service was excellent. The nachos were great. The salad was good -- we would have preferred less dressing -- next time I would ask for dressing on the side. Based on the decor, this location appears to cater to Michigan State fans.
Our server was Bradley Alter and he was amazing! He gave great recommendations on food choices (we got the burger, nashville hot wrap, brussel sprouts and gumbo) - all were delicious. We also loved his recommendations for drinks! He even gave us a tour of the bar and the awesome upstairs. We can't wait to come back! More
Great location with dine in or outside seating. Enjoyed the trailer park tacos, perfect portion. French fries were excellent and stayed hot during entire meal. No wait on early Saturday night.

Stopped into Hopsmith for a couple of drinks after seeing their cellar list. There was a great selection of some harder to find beers. Justin helped me find some interesting ones from the cellar. If you're looking to try some interesting
So I came here because it seemed like a nice decent place to grab a drink. Little did I know a simple margarita would be 18$ dollars, and a bloody Mary would be $15 with an additional 4$ charge for the mix. I didn't argue or say anything
Stopped here tonight for a burger and fries. Ordered the BBQ burger which was not a disappointment. Homemade bbq and the burger had a good flavor. Price is average and nothing is over priced. I would recommend this place to anyone
We had a great time here! We really enjoyed the tenders and the pretzel and Tanner was great in helping us to find drinks we'd like. Highly recommend, especially on game day.

The food was great before the menu/renovations but it’s somehow gotten better! Kayla was a great help, everything was delicious and fast. Recommend the potato chip chicken tenders and the southern wrap …
A great Michigan State-themed bar and reliable spot to catch the Detroit Lions game. Our server was one of the best I've ever had in a sports bar setting and made us feel like old friends! More
Very cool sports tavern with a wide range of draft beers and open air seating towards the front of the restaurant. I went on a random Tuesday to get out of the house and watch the Cubs game.
Great beer selection. Not amazing but not bad for bar food; I like the tacos which you can make into lettuce wraps, also the mozarella sticks. Staff is really friendly.
Great beer selection and decent food. Love their Monday burger & beer specials and the pretzels are delicious. Overall great local bar but service could be better.
Ryan was wonderful to work with! Attentive and kind, instantly connected on a personal level which is a sign of a great bartender. cannot recommend enough! More
Very cool pub… they have 30 beers on tap! Great music - light and airy. I had the Maplewood Son of Juice that was absolutely amazing! I’ll definitely return!
Good Irish bar right on Division Street in Gold Coast neighborhood. They have outdoor heated tent with lots of tables. Surprisingly the other
We randomly found this place looking for food and drink after watching the AVP volleyball tourney on oak street beach.
Insane amount of beer selections! Open window wall for people watching, or tvs at all angles to watch games!
