Have come here on two occasions: haircut and styling by Elena last year and this year by Jeongmin. Both hairstylists are wonderful to talk to and were very open to hearing about my hair concerns before getting into it. I was very happy with what I got from Elena, however I left with mixed feelings about my cut/style by Jeongmin — mostly because I was not too happy with how flat my hair ended up looking (which was the opposite of what I wanted) and the final result did not look much like the inspiration picture I had shared. There also wasn't much time to style it properly since she had another client booked in that she needed to attend to, so I wasn't able to leave satisfied with my look for a wedding I was attending that day. Regardless, I have a strong appreciation for this salon because of their friendly service and affordable price range compared to almost any other place, and I'll definitely be back to experiment with a different hairstylist next time.

With over 20 years of experience both at home and abroad. The prices are more than reasonable. I've known Min since before they opened and ran their own salon. Min has the eye for absolute attention to every detail and expertise in especially complicated hair and for someone who is extremely particular with their hair and style. He ensures high quality and complete satisfaction while listening to your specifications and tailoring his work to you and that’s what makes every experience! The service was excellent, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the ambience was very pretty and elegant. Every member of his team consistently exceeds my expectations. I have been seeing Ana for 10+ years for my hair. I have wavered every once in a while and seen other stylists, only to regret it terribly. I love Ana, and am always pretty lucky about getting in to see her when I want. She is a thorough stylist, who is quick to make suggestions if she feels like maybe the cut you want won’t be as flattering as you hope - this has saved me many times The service is always exceptional, and especially love when Destinee does my conditioner, because the scalp massage is heavenly! Highly recommend. As Ana is a master stylist, her pricing can be much higher than others - but there are several other stylists at the salon to fit any budget. You also won’t find a ton of gimmicky products. What they stock is what they use, and will make recommendations when they believe you need it. You won’t feel like you are getting rooked.

EDIT: It is more than a bit frustrating when you show up to your appointment only to be told your stylist is not in today. Okay, people get sick. It happens. However, the lack of communication is incredibly disappointing. Not only did I get an email reminder 2 hours before not mentioning this, but the lady at the front desk just seemed unsure and said "I don't know how you weren't informed". It would be great if the salon would make some effort to notify customers when this happens,either by email or text message so we don't waste time out of our day driving there and home. (Almost 1 hour total). Destiny is a wizard with freaking scissors!! I'm really happy I got my haircut by them. I had been wanting a more feminine style and they delivered beyond expectations. My hair has never felt or looked better at this length. Thank you ❤️

I requested a hairstyling from Jeongmin. I didn't know what hair style suited me, so I always asked the hair designer at the salon to just do something appropriate. However, after getting to know her, I feel like I've resolved my concerns about the style I've always wanted. I wanted colors that matched my skin tone, and she recommended a few balayage colors. Among them, I chose the one I liked the most, and I'm extremely happy with the result. I showed her a photo of a YouTuber I admire, with a fantastic hair color, and she mixed a color that would suit me well. I'm very satisfied. She also took great care to minimize the damage to my previously damaged hair. So, I really want to recommend Jeongmin, the hairstylist, to all of you.

I had an amazing experience here yesterday. Destiny took amazing care of my (very) long and thick hair! She gave me exactly what I was looking for -- a trim, some thinning, and new bangs! -- and was extremely lovely and friendly the entire time :) I had a great time chatting with her and was grateful for all the hair care tips she gave me throughout. The salon itself was beautiful, modern, and calming. Their sinks are definitely the most comfortable that I've used, and the products and tools they use are all professional and clean. The cherry on top was that my 1 hr long appointment was the most affordable haircut I've had. I will definitely be coming back!! Very happy with my experience.

I could not recommend this salon more. I've been doing blonde balayages on my hair for about a year and the state of my hair was nothing short of a disaster (they were done at another salon!) I decided that I was done with it and wanted to go back to my natural black colour with some grey framing pieces. I saw Anna last week and let me just say I almost cried seeing how beautiful she made my hair look. She listened to all of my concerns and made it turn out even better than I could have imagined. Everyone was complimenting my hair the next day and asking where I got it done! I will definitely be coming back here for any of my hair needs in the future.

I am booked here last week, my experience was amazing and my hair looks phenomenal. Lisa did my hair. I wanted to get like a Bowl shape type of hair. She had a layers and my hair never looked this good and healthy. And when I told her to cut, I wanted around 1 cm and a half. Besides the guilt of my infidelity to my barber in Edmonton of 9 years, I had nothing but a positive experience with Lewis at this hair salon. Lewis was professional from addressing all my questions in the initial phone call to making sure I got what I exactly what I wanted from my terrible taken selfies of my haircut a few years ago. As a health professional, there is nothing more important to me than someone's experience with a provider from start to finish. I have had the pleasure of working with Han & Lisa. Both are great at ensuring you feel comfortable and relaxed. Both have great conversational skills OR if you want to just sit back in silence they allow for that as well. It has taken me a long time to find a place where I can fully trust. They have done a fantastic job keeping my hair healthy and looking great. 10/10 I would recommend this place.

I used to like this place until recently. Firstly, my husband booked with Minsoo for a haircut and Minsoo was late for an hour. No apologize at all. I thought it would be a one time thing. I booked with Minsoo again this time 1 week in advance. Literally 20 min before my appt, they called me and canceled my appointment as the stylist is not available. What kind of business practice is that! Very unprofessional! I am not going back any more.

It's been a while since I got a haircut and decided to try out I'MK as it was close by to where I live, had really great reviews and good pricing. I got my hair done by Lisa and absolutely love it. The hair washing was so relaxing and she was super skilled with the scissors and blow dryer. She has been cutting hair for more than 20 years in Korea and I can't wait to come back again for a freshen up!

The staff were all super nice and friendly! They make you feel very welcome and will listen to what you want & offer suggestions. I just got a regular hair cut and it felt really luxurious. The space is also very clean (and new, just opened at the beginning of April) and they have great distancing & cleaning measures in place. I definitely recommend checking them out!

I had treatments and haircut in this place. I love everything I got done today. Lisa is really nice and does her work really well. One suggestion I have for the salon is to add a scalp massage as an add-on service for 15 mins or more. I would gladly pay for it. Lisa did it for me while getting shampooed and it was heaven. Loved the whole experience.

My haircut with Destiny went great! She took the time to listen and discuss all of the things I wanted done with my really long hair. I enjoyed the wash and scalp message from her as well. Good service, a positive attitude, and all the staff members were amiable. Anna did a great job with my balayage, Min Soo gave me a fantastic two-block haircut, and Jeongmin was very polite and had good customer service skills.
