A gem of a place in a most unlikely location. Ita.Co sits in the middle of a classic strip of suburban shops in Pascoe Vale. The speciality here is pizza. The lovely people who run the place turn out fabulous, tasty, value for money pizzas. This is classic Italian style pizza rather than Aussie pizza pile high with toppings. The crust is excellent with just the right amount of charring and the toppings are made with fresh, carefully selected ingredients. Serving sizes are generous and the pizzas are wholesome in size. There is a great range of pizzas and they offer a vegan menu as well. A range of excellent salads are also on the menu, along with an antipasto bar. For those with a sweet tooth, there is a range of desserts. They're still waiting on their license, but are happy for you to BYO. This is a really excellent pizza restaurant that deserves every success.

This place is legit! It's a small joint with only six tables, but man, the pizza is out of this world. I tried the salami pizza with its thin, authentic Italian crust, and it was fabulous. The staff was super friendly and had options for vegetarians and even vegans. Oh, and they had a fridge stocked with refreshing fruit juices. Plus, they had Mr. Bean playing on the TV, which was a fun touch. Overall, everything was beautiful, and I left as one happy customer. Highly recommend checking them out.

Over several orders we have enjoyed their pizzas. A great mix of traditional style and what we call the Aussie style of pizza where the toppings can go a bit OTT. The herb and garlic focaccia start the journey beautifully. The garlic one leaves you with no doubt you’ve eaten garlic… so delicious. Favorites are the Margherita with pineapple; Hawaiian, The Meats, The Lot and the Fungi. The are service team are great and their app is a plus too. The atmosphere inside is good. No dedicated waiting area for picking up orders leaves people standing close to tables giving an awkward feeling.

Margarita Pizza

This place in the running for best pizza restaurant in its 5km radius. the 3 tables (each with 3 comfortable stools) which were fully shaded and undercover on the wide pavement was perfect for us and our pet dogs. (pet friendly) the seafood pizza crust was crisp and light (only a little soggy in the centre where the sauce pooled). seasoning was very well balanced (not too overwhelmed by the anchovies). Polenta chips were crisp on the outside fluffy on the inside. the cos salad was beautiful (although maybe too small)- also it was very rich - not really a low calorie dish! Authentic italian pizza and menu. i’ll be back (with the pets) for another pizza dinner out!

Let me know what words come to mind when you see their flagship Ita Co pizza (image attached) The base was overcooked, and the ingredients were thrown on it using one hand, as the girl was busy talking on the phone in the other hand. She took the base out a lil too late and then took a few minutes to sprinkle / throw stuff on it and it was cold by the time we ate it. All this while am watching and hoping this is not my order. Have ordered before and i've always had hot/warm pizza, not COLD like the way she served it. Show some respect and customer service!!! Never gain.

Well I just ordered off Ubereats and did a pick up. Wow. I’m sure that as I didn’t transport it in a pizza hotbox that product really benefitted from it. It’s a thin crust wood fired pizza that can tend to sweat and get a little soggy but NOT this time. Real ham, real tomato sauce base, real fresh mushrooms and quality olives. Yes folks. Capricciosa. Little burnt bits and bubbles in the fresh dough. Which is I think what a traditional pizza is. Full of flavour. The simple margarita pizza was the same. Bravo, bravi or however you wanna say it. So many pizza places close by but nothing compares. Thank you so much.

Ordered 3 pizza’s tonight for dinner. Got home with piping hot pizza’s. To our disappointment the pizza’s looked like they had been thrown together by a 3 year old. The taste was very bland and the ingredients were not at the level they used to be. We have been customers from when they opened. Unfortunately it seems as there has been a change of ownership and the pizza’s have gone down hill . They have a moto “did we just become friends “. Unfortunately they just lost a friend .

What a gem. I'm so glad good pizza is spreading throughout the suburbs vs the cut and paste shredded, processed ham piles of the past. Excellent hand made dough and great oven temperature and cooking timing. It's quite a strong dough so choosing the right toppings to cut through and balance with it is key here. Not all of the toppings they have chosen can quite carry you through one of their pizzas but some like the mushroom and truffle oil pizza do. Once they get that balance right across the board it's a perfect spot. Consistent and well done!

Haven't been back since it opened during the Covid years, but wow, amazingly stylish and also so happy to see many vegan and dairy free options on hand. I've just had serious surgery and dairy free is an option I'm looking for. Service was very personable and made a salad just as I wanted. Atmosphere is everything not just taste, look but also feel. Have you considered playing Italian top 40? I think it would be a great addition. Top marks though, have to say brilliant. Thanks again.

Pizza’s were fantastic. Only reason I give 4 stars is the service. I ordered and was told 20 minutes. 45 minutes later my pizzas are cooked and on top of the oven. But I had to wait 15 minutes more for a salad to be made. I’ve never ordered salad before and won’t do it again. Even though the salad was delicious.

I told myself I'd leave a review the second time I ate here (I think in a week, too!), but then I promptly forgot so you're all getting a partly eaten pizza One of the most delightful pizzas I've had, so chuffed there's another excellent option in Pascoe Vale. Staff are also always so welcoming - makes a huge difference. I'll be coming back for more for sure! Highly recommend the seafood pizza, although I don't think you can go wrong picking anything from the menu!

I am a self proclaimed pizza expert, eatingany a pizza across the planet. This is definitely some of the best take out pizza you can get in Melbourne. Staff are friendly and it's quick service. For the size of the place they have done a really good job on interior fit out if you are eating in too.

Have ordered from here a few times now, and yea they’re a pizza restaurant and the pizza is the absolute best ever, no matter what topping it’s always amazing. BUT the few pasta’s that are available are equally incredible and the same can be said for many of the sides we’ve also ordered. In particular the potato croquettes with aioli are excellent! Will definitely keep coming back.

I really wanted to love this place, but they consistently disappoint. The pizzas are good, not as good as when it first opened. But the service goes downhill to the point where I just can't. Last time the gum chewing staff member scratching her nose and not replacing her food handling gloves was also discussing customers, loudly. This combined with the long wait periods, sadly no.

Got some takeaway pizza and it was delicious! Had the Proscuitto pizza with added buffalo mozzarella and the salumi! Both delightful bases, not soggy and great taste! My only small very small criticism would be that there was quite a large portion of crust and it might be just slightly better to have less! The limoncello tiramisu was so yum- would recommend

I will be back to dine in at this modern chic family restaurant that serves a variety of Italian food. The pizza dough was perfectly cooked and a nice thin base on the three pizzas we had. The toppings were fresh and delicious. Give this hidden gem a try.

Best traditional woodfired pizza in Melbourne!! They even made us a nutella pizza on the house- VERY generous servings and quality ingredients. The best part- you don't feel uncomfortable and full after eating all that delicious dough! Will definently return!

Got the potato and rosemary pizza and the pear rocket salad. Nice soft chewy pizza base, quality ingredients. Delicious . I would put a little fior de latte in the salad, and less pecorino, but we wolfed it all.

Welcome to the suburb ITA.Co Pizza. I just rode my bike down tonight and was able to walk in and sit at the front bench to eat an amazing Salami Pizza. Delicious, the base was thin and crispy with just the right about of topping and chilli heat. I'll be visiting again!

smashing Neapolitan style pizza but from what i could it was a standard gas oven rather than a wood fired oven but even still, crust great, tomato sauce great, toppings great, wizardry!

Pizza was really good! Loved the texture of base and the toppings. Sides were disappointing thought- asked for Arancini and they’d run out of Bolognese. Ordered a Bruschetta instead, it was dry, too oily and hardly anything apart from chopped tomatoes.

Pizza was burnt, no cheese variety in cheese in antipasto, meats were a lot worse they used to be. Quality has greatly gone down hill with new owners used to be a top quality pizzeria in Melbourne. Now is below average avoid.

What a delicious mouthwatering classic Italian Napolitano Buffalo pizza with a perfect dough that is cooked to its perfection with real Napolitano buffalo pieces. Tried the first time and just was amazed....
