Made a detour on my road trip to see Beech Grove because it is the birthplace of Steve McQueen. I’m a big fan. I heard the public library had a section dedicated to him and I sent my husband in to snap a pic for me, but the lady attending said that it was upstairs and there needed to be someone else there to show him as she couldn’t leave her station, but clearly just didn’t want to take a minute out of her day to be friendly and help a visitor out. I mean look, its fine. Just kind of bummed out. We came out of our way to Beech Grove specifically to see this and it would have been a nice thing to let us take a picture. Thanks anyway.

can't believe how much of the library is staff offices, checking out books requires so many employees with their own offices? Plus, the library was pretty quiet except for the staff who talk constantly in loud party-voices. If you shush them they will probably call police and claim you're a terroris, cuz they are precious vital non-parasitic government workers who are more important that the public.

I loved the Beech Grove Indianapolis Library. It was spacious. The Beech Grove Indianapolis Library has an amazingly great kids area. The Beech Grove Indianapolis Library was very well designed. This is our "home" library. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a lot of activities for all ages throughout the month. They have a seed library for gardeners. It is a pretty library and a train that runs around the Children's area that my daughter always enjoys.

I enjoy coming to this library. All the smiling librarians. And preschool story time is so much fun!! They just remodeled recently and everything flows nicely. Including the new toys for the children

Still has individual cubicles where an individual can work, read etc. in privacy. Too many other libraries have gone to the "open" concept that has eliminated one's privacy.

This is a great library with a good selection of books and a train theme. Be sure to check out the large scale electric train that runs around the ceiling.

Great place make sure if u need camera footage from the cameras out front of building have a police report done to get access to footage of accident.

Just the right size never seems too busy. Theres a lobby outside the main library to sit and talk which helps keep the library itself pretty calm.

Beech Grove Branch is quiet, clean and far away the best in this city. It is way overdue to take the restrictions off these branches

Love the selections of books and movies you can choose from here. I love the family friendly help from employees their as well.
