Placing a book on hold from another branch has an insanely long wait time for transit! Why is taking almost a week now for a book to get from Nora to Ft. Ben? Ft. Ben has a very, very small selection of books on hand. Just about everything I want to read is at another branch. I was really hoping with the holds I wouldn't have to drive all over town for my books, however the wait time is not acceptable. At this point I'm debating on not even going to this location anymore and driving to the better locations. Beats waiting days on end for transit. There's way too many librarians in there using their free time to have loud conversations disrupting the library guest, I feel like some of them could be dispersed to run books from branch to branch.

If you want to study or read in a quiet environment this is absolutely not the place for you. It is the nosiest library I have ever been to in my entire life. I will also note that it is mainly the staff causing the majority of the ruckus with their loud talking and laughter. They seem to be very helpful to visitors but I would love and appreciate if they would atleast attempt to talk quieter. Maybe quiet libraries are just becoming a thing of the past...

Nice small branch, cozy like a small town library but of course you can still get your hold shelf full of the large selection of the complete IndyPL system. This branch also seems well run, always well staffed, clean, and the librarians are nice. They have regular community events for all ages, check the calendar on the main website.

I returned 42 items at this particular location. My account never reflected that they were returned. I don't like my account being in bad standing. I return my materials early so I don't have to worry about being late. I can't trust this place.

Cozy, well-kept branch with good selection and friendly staff. Usually very quiet. I love the addition of the seed library. I've been a frequent visitor at this branch since I was a little kid and continue to adore it.

The remodel has really changed this library branch. It is brighter inside and has a drive-up drop box now! The staff have always been wonderful!

We have such a great branch here in Lawrence! I’m in every single week and the vast number of programs for children and adults are amazing!

Good library. Access to reserving any item from the entire IMCPL system is nice. They need a drive-thru material drop box though.

The new renovations are beautiful and its very modern looking. Love that there is an outdoor Dropbox that has a drive up to it!

I have been visiting this location with my grandson since he was 3. Now 12 The renovation is just wonderful. Very impressed.

Pros: The staff is friendly and the building is clean. Cons: Doesn't have a large selection of books for older kids.
