We live on this side of town and have visited all of the ones close to downtown and the Eastside—this is my new favorite. The librarians and employees were super kind and helpful—both in-person and by phone when I called. It was quiet and clean and the layout was great for kids. They get their own area where you don’t feel like you’re disturbing others if they talk in a regular volume. The book display was great and I love all the big windows and natural light. Ample seating for adults and kids alike. And for what it’s worth the location doesn’t bother me. All libraries on this side of town can attract sketchy people but this one actually felt safer than some others. I’m glad there’s a library there!

Beautiful and spacious library w/ tons of books, DVDs and other amenities such as public access computers, free Wi-Fi, as well as electrical outlets for charging mobile devices and friendly + helpful librarians. If you're looking for a good book, a movie to watch, or just want to have some free time to be by yourself and have quietness this is the place to be. I definitely recommend visiting this branch a time, or two. Way to go #IndyPL!

This right in the hood. I've lived here 10+ years. This corner of 25th & Sherman is very risky So lock your cars or watch your belongings. The library helped the area feel and look better. once you actually go in the library it's clean and very quiet. Feels like a safe place to be. I recommend this place. The staff is always friendly. The old lady on the front desk is my favorite staff member. Very kind.

Brought my kiddos to pet the animals today and for one the lady was so rude and rushed us through the process literally 4 mins with 2 toddlers . She even went as far as pushing my child’s hand off the animal and telling her to move along . Absolutely disgusting and would not recommend. She was angry , unfriendly and impatient!!!!! 0/10

The new Bright wood library is clean and well put together . The staff is always helpful when I go in the mornings , especially the guy with the dark hair and glasses !!! You are more than sure to be greeted with a smile from the time you enter the front door to the front desks! THANK YOU GUYS

This is my first time stepping into this library since it has been reopen. I am really really impressed with what I see. VERY quiet atmosphere and everything is up-to-date. I love it!!!!

They are really nice! Haven’t been inside because we got the curbside delivery option to collect our books but the self check in book drop is amazing here. Such a great location for it.

The people who assisted me that both the young ladies were very polite and patient with me and help me get through what I needed to get done both the young lady's was very knowledgeable

The people who work at this location are so friendly and helpful. I was able to accomplish my tasks and do them in record time too. I am a very pleased patron.

The building itself is beautiful and some of rhe staffs is very helpful and some are lazy, but overall my experience was ok …
