I don't go into bookstores very often anymore, especially since I am a voracious reader or at least I was. I tend to like older books that have been in publication for years so used book stores tend to be more my thing. It's nice to see that one of the old stalwarts on Robson Street is still there and doing pretty good business in the run-up to the Christmas season. To call it though just a bookstore is a bit of a misner as it has a lot of other stuff like little small items like drinking cups coffee mugs etc etc instead of just books and magazines. The books though tend to be all the same mass Publications, with a large smattering now of graphic novels anime, and if I remember correctly there are a few audiobooks as well on disc. I miss the era of Duffy books and Granville Book Company though. You can find a lot of the more popular paperbacks and new hard covers but you could also find very interesting more technically minded stuff for people that are interested in science is like computers or astronomy etc.

I love this bookstore! it has really great vibes. The cafe, Good Earth, just reopened. I love to people watch from the window seat. It’s nice because you can also go out and window shop if you need to refresh your mind. There are also tons of plugs you can plug your laptop to. Indigo also has a great membership program :) highly recommend this bookkstore! ☺️ I tried their beet latte.. and it tasted.. very healthy a little bitter. I don’t think I’ll order again, maybe I will try just regular coffee or their christmas drink next time.

Is a nice bookstore but kinda expensive, also they don't update the price labeled on the books so sometimes you arrive and you pay more than the price you saw , also they have a limited numbers of copies , some special unique copy of expensive books are already very mistreated by the people that only go to read and watch for free , and the book is still on sale with the same price like a new haha ... a lot of things to improve in this bookstore. Also there is a lack of costumer attention by the employees. I spend almost 200 cad in my last visit

Definitely one of the must-visit places in Vancouver. Such a nice bookstore that sells from books to all kinds of cute stuffs (e.g., toys for kids, games and puzzles for adults, indoor decorations, souvenirs, etc.) as well as tea or hot cocoa packages!!! Friendly staff! It is also a nice place to sit down, enjoy a cup of coffee (Starbucks on the second floor), and read a good book! As Christmas is approaching, they also sell some Christmas related goods (e.g., stockings, ointments, etc.). Highly recommend to take a look here!

Two floor indigo location with popular and recommended books on the first floor and a whole variety of products on the second floor. It’s no longer just a bookstore, it’s also sells baby/toddler products, toys, puzzles (Ravensburger, Eurographics) bottles, make up, plates, self care products, towels, Jellycat and other plushies, etc. You can easily find a gift for anybody within the store. There are also good sales once in a while on books and other products. Would highly recommend dropping by to check it out.

This is my happy place since I moved to Vancouver! As a bookworm this is the loveliest place to be if you live downtown. Can spend hours among the book isles and bought a lot of things like candles or softest blankets or decor items. There are board games and stationary and lots of other stuff! A huge kids section. Their yearly membership gives you 10% off everything and free delivery, which pays for itself after the first purchase if you love books like I do. Great place to find gifts too!

Visited this location on January 7,2024. I notice the little details are lacking and a bit of the customer service too. Also, please make sure you stock the toilet paper. People don’t wipe themselves with their hands. If you are going to offer washrooms to the public, make sure you give the means to use it. Positive note, I tried the Brown sugar tea latte and it was very delicious. Thank you Good Earth Café.

Very poor customer service. Waited at the order pick up counter and although a team member was at the register there wasn't even a smile in my direction. Once I asked for service she called another team member over who didn't say one word to me before scanning my barcode. A hello would be a kind way for a customer service team member to greet your customers.

Beautiful and big store with 2 floors. They sell books, notebooks, kitchen products and more. Expensive prices. I wanted to buy books for my kids and ask from the seller recommendations. The seller didn't know how to help me and couldn't think about even one recommended book. Not so professional. I will note that the service was kind and smiling.

For a place that sells books, 3 seperate staff seemed puzzled by where to find anything. I eneded up finding the two things I came for on my own. It was bizarre, the staff solely relies on a smart device to answer any question. It was as if there was zero information about the store stored in their head. TBH, it was fascinating to observe.

A good collection of amazing books, magazines. A lot of great stationary which finding those are not easy from other bookstores. Also beautiful accessories are there. They just recently run the cozy coffee shop in the corner to have a small bit and chatting over coffee with your friends.

This location provide excellent service, always has the best selection of books, and provides fantastic customer service at the Starbucks location as well. This location always has a good stock of inventory and they provide a bunch of other items such as cards, home items, and gifts.

Book haven, knowledge hub, education junction, readers paradise... these are some of the phrases that come to mind when you visit this place. Plus amazing staff and courteous service makes it an overwhelmingly positive book buying experience. Indulge if you're in the neighborhood!

  • Shayan Emami

This book store is filled with fancy books and records on the first floor and cool accessories, cutlery, toys and a cozy coffee shop on the second floor. There is enough place for you to sit and read your book and enjoy the colourful and bright environment around you.

The last six months the Robson st location has become such a disappointment. Impossible to find staff to assist (have to chase them down). The manager there Catherine is just not pleasant. I hope they can improve, and forget calling no one picks up.

I kind of like indigo. It always has such a random things for sale in it aside from books. You can spend a fair bit of time just looking at books, but it's easy to get sidetracked and look at all the odd bits and pieces that they sell as well..

Good lifestyle retailer, they’ve got books, stationery, skincare products, fragrances, sportswear, leather goods, kitchen supplies & lots of other products. There are even more on their website. Cool place for one-stop shopping.

  • Ava Wu

Great store with a large selection of goods. There was a variety of sections here to explore and there was some seating available scattered throughout as well. There are two floors with an escalator connecting them.

It is good place to go to if you like books. The store has many items including games and beauty items. They also have a cafe inside so you can read while having tea or coffee. The book selection is mostly fiction.

  • J V

Beautiful store but the male working at the till couldn’t even be bothered to look up or make eye contact or be friendly. Seemed way too busy on his computer to care about the paying customer in front of him.

  • Shane Money

Great store and products. 3 star deduction as the woke mind virus has hit here as they don't provide basic cheap compostable or paper bags. Low income families have to pay... $2 bag! Not cool.

  • Nana Kh

Great store and amazing staff, I went there yesterday with my daughters. The kids section was awesome and the girl named Sahar was so kind and helpful. Overall great experience.

  • T Barkman

Lots of space to find just the right book. Selection is great, and they have a lot of other stuff, like writing and drawing, toys and puzzles, and housewares.

This is a must-visit place when returning to Vancouver. I love the interior design and atmosphere. Reading inside gives me a comforting feeling.

  • Eric Hung

Thus is our frequent weekend visit with the girls!! They love it here and always able to something up either for them or for gifts.

  • Holly

Love this store, I always enjoy visiting and looking at all the book covers and extra seasonal stuff they have for sale.

  • Hanah Coleman

Cool and modern bookstore but is also a nice place to shop for gifts. Loved the selection and organization of the store.

  • María Inés Parnisari

It's a nice book store but over the years they have started selling anything but books and it's kinda annoying.

  • rosa p

Amazing selection, especially kids section. Even had Babysitters Little Sister Karen's Birthday.

  • Henry Chen

The perfect store for gifts and books.
