I appreciate the ease getting service: love the online reservation and ability to do errands etc and return. Burke was very professional checking in. The older gentleman who’s about 5’9 was nice when picking up and enthusiastic about the work. Unfortunately I had to return because of some issues: the young lady with the locks was very accommodating and nice and gave no drama when I asked for some corrections on the previous service. Appreciated her customer care! Based on her alone I’ll try again. But probably just for basic service. And it’s too bad: I was looking for a regular spot for the works. my bf died and gave me the car: it’s black and every time I’ve ever had a black car in the past I’ve had regular washing, buffing, clay, and detailing. So: I paid over 400 for buff, wash, shampoo and tip. I even paid an extra 20 for a dirty car fee even though it wasn’t that bad- just my bf had never detailed or cleaned good inside and smoked in it. And there are some scratches and dents: I get that. Anyway:Just check the car in the light. At first glance all was well. The carpet cleaning was okay: my buddy actually got off some areas they missed. Wax residue on the windows and car and streaking weren’t visible until in the light. Residue still on the bumper from some big bug or something on the highway…upholstery spotting…Some inside areas weren’t touched and the vacuum wasn’t completed in the trunk and some other small- but cumulatively irritating things. Didn’t want any irritation for that price. Vacuumed. Cleaned what was missed. Removed most of the wax residue. Etc. Just saw more wax residue yesterday.

I was pretty disappointed with this place. Brought my SUV in this past week for a detail, and it felt like they did the bare minimum. Surfaces were all wiped down, but not really scrubbed clean. They did not do the full exterior wax (though they at least reduced the price a bit because of that. They did not bother to vacuum the full center console until I pointed it out...and they took out the center divider from the cup holder and almost let me drive away without it. This was a step up from the interior cleaning my car gets when I bring it to the dealer for an oil change, but didn't really feel like a full detail. I believe part of the problem was that they were understaffed on the day I brought it in - they gentlemen who did the job said they usually have two people working, and they day I brought it in they only had one. This meant he had to rush through it - and it showed. On a positive note, it is very convenient if you live and work on Capitol HIll, staff is polite, and they were overall very trustworthy and easy to deal with. I just wish they had done a more thorough job.

WOW! Where do I begin. From start to finish it was a great experience. The professionalism from the team down to the detail of the car. I was given a time window in which they not only met that time frame but actually completed before the actual time. it wasn't a rushed job , they made sure they got every piece of dog hair and any crumb that was in the car out. INSIDE OF THE CAR WAS SPOTLESS AS IF I JUST BROUGHT A BRAND NEW CAR! I SEE WHY THIS IS CALLED "INSIDE OUT CAR WASH" . My car was a tragic mess. I had food stains, dog hair (husky/lab), spill food, dust, etc to the point where my car smelled. As shameful as it is to admit, the point of it is to emphasize how AMAZING of a job the guys did at Inside Out. Darrell was super helpful and nice. Straightforward before I left my car with them about what add ons were necessary. The gentleman at the end who did the check out was also very professional and kind. Walked me through around the whole car and even the trunk. If i could give this company more stars, I would. They're more than worth the cost which is actually quite affordable in my opinion. Take your car to these gentlemen the next time you need a car wash inside and out!

I have cars detailed often, but this business located below Trader Joe’s in Eastern Market in DC really surprised me. We took our daughters Infiniti SUV there while visiting her in Capitol Hill and they did a miraculous job. The SUV is a low mileage 2013 and with 3 little boys it was looking rough. Tracy and Jose worked on it a couple of hours and it looked the best it has looked since leaving the showroom a decade ago. They made scheduling easy, communicated well about the appointment, were professional, and took pride in their work. If you are near DC and need a great detail, I strongly recommend this business. I wish they had a location in Daytona Beach… I would definitely take my 4 cars to them!

The day before my appointment; I wanted to find the location. My GPS gave me directions to the opposite end of C Street. So, I called and reached Darrell and he stayed on the phone until I arrived. I brought my car back the next day and everything Darrell told me he would do to my car, he did. My car smelt and felt like a brand new vehicle. I was extremely pleased with his level of customer service. Everyone that I encountered today was extremely helpful with excellent customer service. I wanted to personally tip Darrell but he asked that I put the tip in the tip jar because “We All Have To Eat and We’re A Team.” I appreciated that and will definitely become a recurring customer.

I couldn’t be more grateful for and impressed with Inside Out’s team. I showed up with a horrifically dirty car and very high expectations. They managed to remove the stubborn dog hair and mud that my pup has tracked into the car for six years. Every corner and crevice is spotless, both inside and out. Everyone was warm and welcoming, and you could see they genuinely cared about the service they delivered as well as my happiness. Tim, the owner, was there to assist with tailored service and ensure the highest of quality. It was so clear how dedicated he is to his business and customers. I felt so taken care of, as did my car. This was our first time doing a full-service exterior and interior detailing of our car and it was worth every penny. This summer we had plenty of road trips to the beach, i.e., lots of sand, we often are in tow with our lab, i.e., lots of fur, and one of us is 7 years old, i.e., spilled drinks, food, and gum! After the crew finished our Atlas it looked and felt brand new. Not a single trace of sand or dog hair and everything was spotless. Most importantly the service was prompt and the team was friendly and accommodating. They go the extra mile to ensure all customers are happy with the service they receive. 10 out of 10!

I put off writing this review because I wanted to make sure I wasn't overreacting. But honestly, I was extremely disappointed with the end result. I booked a Full Detailing & Buffing and the job was shoddy, especially for a $300+ (w/ tip) service. When I picked up the vehicle, I had to point out missed spots on the rim. Excess wax was on my front and rear headlamps that they neglected to wipe off. There were large patches of excess wax around the car that were also not properly wiped off. The interior dashboard didn't look like they had wiped it at all. Ultimately, I was expecting a much better result due to the reviews.

I had an amazing experience at Inside Out last week. I took my car in for detailing and buff. The results were excellent. This is the best my car has looked since I drove it off the lot 4 years ago, by far. But the most amazing thing is that, when Starlin was showing me the work they had done on my car, he handed me $140 that he had found in my car on the floor between the front seats. He had already shown himself to be a friendly, efficient, respectful, conscientious young man in his dealings with me. This gesture showed him to be honest and honorable as well. Starlin is an amazing young man.

I was the last car of the day and Darrell took his time. He did not rush and every corner of the car was cleaned to perfection. My car has not been this cleaned since the day I purchased it. Hands down, the best car wash that my car has EVER had. I will be returning. These guys are amazing. I've been to a few detailing shops, but the level of dedication this team has is rare. I told them I was prepping my car to sell. The car was a mess--full of dog hair and grime. They worked on it 1/2 hour past closing time to make sure it looked as close to brand new as possible. After months of shedding dogs and some plant-transport mishaps, my 5-year old vehicle was in pretty rough shape when I brought it in to them yesterday. Now, after a full detail with add-on engine cleaning, it is spotless, gleaming, every last dog hair gone, and looks amazing. These guys did a great job of detailing our 2014 Jeep Patriot. We have two dogs so it was no small feat, and they were really detailed. They even do a final walk-through with a flashlight where they look for every possible nook and cranny that they might have missed, and address it on the spot. But, my favorite thing about this place is the attitude of the guys working here. They're so upbeat, positive, and hard-working. They'll leave you feelin' like a million bucks!

5 stars for the amazing customer service I received. EXTREMELY helpful and very customer service oriented staff. They explained the process for my first time visit and recommended adding the aqua seal protective sealant for my BMW-X5. The car washing area was clean, efficient and organized. My car was cleaned to my liking and I’ll definitely return on a consistent basis as there aren’t many places in the Capitol Hill area to get your car cleaned with VIP service.

I had the interior of my car detailed today, and it looks so great! After a trip cross country, our poor little car was looking sad, but Burke and the rest of the guys made sure I got it back nice and clean. The upholstery looks new (and it was definitely a little rough)! They even had it warming up for me as I came to pick it up, which was great, because it was about 30 degrees today! The price was more than fair, and I will absolutely be back. Thanks guys!

I got my car detailed, and it was an excellent and professional service. Starlin called to confirm the appointment the morning of, were accurate about the estimate, and did a very thorough job. We have a light color interior, and the car looks like new. I will definitely use Inside Out again. If you are in SE it is also very conveniently located in an Eastern Market parking garage, so you can go to the grocery store, library, playground, etc while you wait.

Water leaked into the interior of my vehicle and it began to smell musty. I reviewed many detailing shops in the DMV and decided on Inside Out Express. I scheduled an appointment online, which was easy. The guys did an absolutely amazing job. They shampooed and dried my interior which looks and smells great now. I also purchased the exterior buffing package and now my GTI looks years newer. Great job guys! I'll be coming back before summer cruising begins!

I went out Inside Out Express Car Wash today for the first time and I was beyond impressed! Both the supervisor and the owner were there are were very attention and extremely nice. What a great service. They are located in the parking garage at Trader Joes. I went on a Sunday and made a day out of it at union market and TJs. Car had never been cleaned in 6 years. They did a remarkable job and I almost did not recognize it. I never felt they were trying to hustle me to add services but did ask if I wanted additional things. Did a much better job than Splash (although it is more expensive). Will be back!

Made an appointment after being stuck in snow for 3 hours with my black car. I was interested in booking the full detail package, but knowing there will be more snowy days I booked the mini detail. This is THE place to go in the DMV. I booked the $45 exterior wash and Darrell did not fail to impress. He went above and beyond, making sure to take care of small details that would otherwise be overlooked. Super personable with great results. I come here every few months to do a full or mini detail for my car. Staff is so kind and thorough about going over details. The service is excellent and my car comes back looking brand new every time. I also have a dog so my car can get pretty gross but they manage it without issue. It can be pricey but it’s worth it knowing your car comes back in better condition than you left it

The gentleman that greeted me was pleasant. The-only reason I’m giving a review is customers travel near and far and on their outside sign, the sign do not say by appointment only. I just came back from my cross country trip, I made 7 thousand miles, so you can imagine how the car looked like. Dust everywhere, the whole front bumper covered with dead bugs, dirty floor mats. I picked up a car two hours later and it as I just bought it. They did an amazing job, the crew is meticulous, fast and professional. I will definitely go back there.

Had my car detailed here a few months ago and it still looks great. Extremely thorough job cleaning the interior and exterior of the car. They even were able to buff out a few minor scratches I had. I paid an extra fee to have excessive pet hair removed that was super reasonable for the cost and well worth it. Definitely will return when my car needs it next!

Yet another example of a business getting things right. Great customer serrvice, incredibly easy to schedule (and reschedule), and most importantly- a thorough detail experience. My second time there. Will definitely be back.

Do not book service here. This places is not accommodating and does not care about its customers at all. I mixed up my appointment times and they charged me $75 for it. That tells you a lot on how important a client is.

They did a really nice job on the car but snuck in fees that felt unfair and kept me waiting for more than an hour beyond the time they'd promised. Frustrating experience even if the work ended up being high quality.

I had a full detail and engine cleaning and was very satisfied. My car looked the best its looked in years. They even topped off my engine coolant, which was flashing low, and they don't even typically do that.
