I think this is a great place for kids who have a scientific bent towards astronomy or the natural sciences in general. I came here when I was a kid and loved it. The collection is great. However, there is no getting around the fact that

Great introduction to a specialized topic. Interesting display of rock and iron meteorites. Not a place to bring young kids... its just a large room on a college campus. Worth a stop at least once.

I didn't get to see it. You have to have an appointment. The classroom door was shut, in other words it's not really a museum. It's just a room with meteorites.
