Good until it isn't. I keep going back for a short while and then stop for an extended time because at some point someone makes one eyebrow shorter than the other (and then I have to wait for it to grow back) and they miss the trimming. I always seem to feel uneasy at this salon and that might be because I never know exactly how my eyebrows are going to turn out or maybe it's because the service at times can be rushed and impersonal. I like this place because it's quick and you don't have to make an appointment but as I said, sometimes it's just too quick and because of that they don't pay attention to the way your specific eyebrows need to be done. Unless you go regularly enough and know a specific girl to go in for then it's a lucky dip as to who does the job and there's definitely some girls here that are better and some that just don't meet the mark.

Really disgusting service! I went to get my eyebrow threading as it's near to my home but the staff there completely ruined my brows. The shape was completely uneven even she didn't cut the Hairs properly from the starting point of brows. In fact when I told her that pls one layer of upper side should also needed to thread off then she made so weird face expression that I felt so embarrassing. She made my brows so uneven and out of shape that I don't even to look at them. I hope u should understand that we are paying amount for ur service and wants to have good service. I hope I will never back there again

The absolutely worst kind of parlour I have ever been. I went in for an eye brow threading, the lady couldn't have been any more careless. The thread kept breaking, which is unusual. She was trying to be too quick, took less than a minute and it was stinging pain in my forehead. I was too annoyed to look at it properly and went home and I had a considerably big sized wound there. I have never seen anyone so careless. Yes, I have had instances where it pains a bit more, but causing a wound was absolutely ridiculous. Please stay away from this parlour

Booked for an appointment at this salon and I was there half an hour before the said time. But the staff told me they cant do the service now as there are 2 other customers who just came to do facials. I was not able to get my manicure and threading done and they told me to wait nearly 2 hrs. It was really a bad experience. I was also told that the director is in charge of the appointments and the staff doesn't know about the actual bookings. That sounded crazy to me. Even with prior appointment I was not able to get the service.

The WORST threading place I’ve been to and a total waste of money. NO effort to shape properly, or clean properly. What a lazy tart. Ended up with one eyebrow thick, one eyebrow thin. When asked to correct the difference, the girl rudely replied that the brows were the same. When making payment, the eftpos machine timed out after I was charged on my card, but she wanted to charge me again, even when I showed her the bank transaction went through on my phone. What a fraud. Not to mention the salon is a dingy, grimy place. AVOID.

Haven’t gone here before so I thought I would try it since there are plenty of good reviews on this place. Unfortunately for me when I asked for dark brown eyebrows I got get black ones. I’m extremely unimpressed because I have had dark brown eyebrows done may times back in my home town and when the lady ask if I was sure I wanted dark brown you would obviously expect them to be brown not black. My partner even commented on how dark they were before the paste was taken off my eyebrows. Will never go back to this place again.

Hi i have just been into your mt gravatt shop i had a facial eyebrow threading and tinting done. There was no customer in the shop when i got in, yet the 2 ladies there were not warm and welcoming. The lady who did my facial rubbed the creams up to my eyelids and when it finished i said it stings as the exfoliating cream has gone inside my eyes. All the lady did was point me to the sink and ask me to wash my eyes. That’s just rude and unprofessional dont you think? My first experience in your shop is just disastrous.

Glamour beauty at Mount Gravatt is hands down the best place to get your eyebrows threaded. Geeta is amazing at threading and has been doing my eyebrows for many years now. She, along with the other ladies in the shop, always make me feel welcomed and have me leaving looking my best. I always recommend this this place to anyone looking to get amazing brows at very cost effective price - $13!! I drive all the way from the Sunshine Coast to get my eyebrows done, and it's worth it every time. Well done ladies ;) x

I have been a regular customer for the last 3 years. I have never been disappointed but today I just wanted to point out the absolute lack of hygiene specially with this pandemic. The lady did not sanitize her scissors or brush after threading the previous customer and she dropped her scissors on the floor and reuse it. The chair was not sanitize either. Not to mention that I understand it can happen that a bit of skin can be off during threading but today i was really missing skin :(

OMG I LOVE THEM!! This year marks 3 years since I’ve gone to them for threading my eyebrows (always on fleek) LOL. I’ve read some of the other reviews and some people are disappointed by them but each to their own. I totally recommend them! The ladies are so nice, patient and funny. I’ve moved to 2 different surburbs in the past 3 years and I always go back to them...just so they can do my eyebrows. Dedicated customer right here!‍♀️

Honestly I was disappointed with the facial I got from here. The lady used TISSUES to wipe the products off my face, and rubbed the products in my eyes, nose and mouth, so I could taste it. Then when I had an exfoliating mask on, she left the room to service another customer for about 20 minutes. There wasn’t even any music playing, so the cars outside didn’t make it a relaxing experience. She also didn’t ask me if I had any allergies

My second time on a Friday afternoon for threading (forehead, brows and upper lip for $25 with student discount). Deepika was lovely and did an excellent job! I showed her a photo of brows I got done before and she followed it really well. She was really attentive and got me to check several times. Took on feedback and had good technique as it wasn't as painful as my previous threading experiences. Highly recommend. Thanks Deepika!

I have been served by Deepika for the first time a month back...which compelled me to come again at their woolloongabba branch to be served by her. This time I got my eyebrows threaded and also got a facial done. She was just fantastic. The facial was relaxing and I loved it. Being an Indian I am very particular about the threading and I think I have finally found a perfect place I will highly recommend the woolloongabba GBS.

Drove about 25 mins to get to these guys as they close at 7 pm That’s a long drive after a full days work, get there 15 mins before they closing time to find two ladies standing in the store talking with the close sign on the door I just needed a brow thread which usually only takes 10 mins, worst part is I rang the bell and they didn’t even look at me! Just turned around and walked away. Lost a customer

Have been going to Getta at gbs mount gravatt for a few years. She is absolutely amazing very professional and makes my every visit warm and welcoming. Had Henna done last night by Sabrina she is so amazing, friendly, talented and just overall great customer service. Professional at what she does. I would on the other hand suggest the store stocks fresh Henna products as the next day the Henna was barely noticeable. Having no time to go back as I got it for an engagement party the next day, I wouldn't of paid $25 for Henna that didn't show.

Thought i'd give them a try with reasonable prices (not to cheap, not to expensive) i figured they would give a decent service but nothing exceptional; but boy.. i got a shock. For $15 for eyebrow threading i was give about 2-3 minutes of their time. Was a very rushed service accompanied with a level of rudeness and inconsideration. i left very upset and shocked.

The girls here are quite good. They greet you nicely and do a good job worth the price! I was served by Raman, who was polite, very good at facial massage and went the extra mile to give my brows the best shape :) I suggest they also take care of before and after process, as to wipe down the face perfectly etc. Overall good experience.

I went to Mount Gravatt this morning, there were to ladies attending, one of them attend my, and She had a really bad manners, not friendly at all,and she did a really terrible job in my eyebrows. The second lady noticed of what was happening and she got concerned about me getting a good job done. I will not return there anymore.

Depends who you see. Some staff are great, others not so great. I've been going there for eyebrow tinting and threading for about 2 years. It had been great until the last 2 times, when the lady just took way too much off and I was left looking like I was in the 90s. Even though I specifically asked to keep the thickness.

Got an appointment on phone call quickly.Went there after a long gap. Really happy with the quality of service and hard work by friendly staff . Vivien( name i remember ) did a really good job and amazed me by her eyebrow shaping expertise. Again i will be regular customer . Thank you for good service today.

This is the worst salon experience ever. The ladies are not friendly, they burn your skin while waxing, they don’t take before and after care of services. Their eyebrow services are very bad too. The lady will blame your eyebrows instead of her way of working on them . Over all bad experience.

Didn’t even ask how i wanted my threading. Just started and finished poorly giving two different shapes. Was in a hurry to finish the job even there was no other customer around. $20 for such an unprofessional job, not worth it. Highly not recommended.

poor service, threaded the tail of one brow off making them look uneven, didn't tidy them up by cutting the long hairs away, literally took about 2 mins, rip me off, I'm going somewhere else from now on!

Would not recommend at all. Lady very rushed, left halfway through to talk to friends. Tint left all over face and after scrubbing skin red raw told me to clean it. Will never go back.
