I recently tried to trade some PS4 games here which I had purchased from the same store a few weeks earlier, when I also bought a brand new PS4 and a Windows tablet at the same time. I was refused the trade because I am not Australian, and only had a Canadian Drivers Licence to "prove my identity". Even as i tried to explain that the items were purchased at the store, along with other items valued over $2000, the little store owner seemed to enjoy trying to humiliate me in front of my two young sons. Because I am not Australian. Even though I am a highly skilled foreign national lured here by an Australian company to fill a gap in the market for which no Australian seemed available. Needless to say, I took my trade elsewhere. EB Games were quite happy to trade and accept my Canadian Drivers License as proof of ID. For a better price I might add! I will NEVER return to any of this franchise, who discriminate against people such as me. A prior customer, who happens to be from another (well known) country.

A very busy J.B. store located on the first floor of the Belrose Supa Centre. They have a large range of products and carry all the usual products. They have plenty of floor staff ready and happy to help. The large DVD and Blu-Ray section at the rear of the store is arranged in way that makes it a little tricky to find what you are looking for. Hard to explain but basically the titles are grouped alphabetically along half the length of the rack and then continue left again. Also the new releases are not easy to locate. DVD, Blu-Ray, 4K and 3D can be clumped together on shelves and disks are also located on floor table all over the store. Other JB stores seem to do it better. The prices and range of titles are good.

I was ready to buy a new TV and wanted to find out if JB Belrose had stock of the model that I wanted. Samsung 65" UHD Curved screen with the extra soundbar. I rang and asked for the TV department. I was placed on hold for ages. Then, you can hear the phone ringing again and going back to switchboard. The switchboard lady did not speak to me again and diverted the call back to the people who were just not answering the phone. This happened twice and I got fed up and hung up the phone. If people are busy, then have the courtesy of taking the clients number and phoning back. That is customer service. I rang Appliance Online, placed my order and my TV will be delivered to my house tomorrow.

I ordered an xbox one x through click and collect on their website and then after I made the order I was flagged for suspicion of fraud with absolutely no reason for what warranted the suspicion . I then get a follow up email stating I must provide additional proof of identity via email which would take days after they had already withdrawn the funds. So I go into the store that I was supposed to picking up my xbox from and they said the only thing they could do is cancel my order but the funds would not go back to my account for 4-7 days! I am appalled at this service. If the money does not come back this week I will be calling my bank to report fraud, ironically.

I purchased a Vornado heater online it arrived on time, but was obviously a repack and had been used or displayed. As per the support suggestion I rang my local store at Hornsby about this and what I should do. The staff member happily checked stock in all the stores near me to no avail but suggested I contact the Belrose store as they had a few of the next model up. Belrose no only upgraded me free of charge to the next model up... but did it all with a smile. Thank you JB Awesome service... plus all warm again now.

ordered a washing machine more than 2 weeks ago to be delivered on Sunday. the driver called me on Sunday and said he will deliver the item in 20 min, he didn't turn up and wasted my whole Sunday. I called the store on Monday and they said they will call me back but didn't(happened twice). went to the store on Monday and took the around 1 hour to make a refund for me.... from there went directly to Harvey Norman took 5-min to place the order and they did SAME DAY delivery + installation. will never go there again.

Excellent customer service. Had an issue with a product whilst being on the extended care plan, from which tried to sort out through the phone service to no avail (incredibly poor service and aim to revoke a claim where possible). Went instore with product, discussed, and it was quickly resolved under the care plan. Also shop here, no issues at all and staff continue to provide great service. Reason why I wont go anywhere else

Walked in, walked out. Young guy serving did know his laptops but was clearly disinterested in us and appeared impatient. Referred to my husband as 'dude' 10+ times and then called a competing salesman a "Liar - 100%." Went back to the competitor who offered us a better item at a way better price, as well as discounts on accessories. You're an adult serving adults, please talk like one. 100%. Dude.

Great value Hiscence and TCR?(sp) TVs. I did some research. Hiscence are made by a firm run by the Chinese government, who have questionable human rights policies. I bought a Sony on sale from Gerry Harvey for the same price, who interistingly enough does not seem to stock the Chinese brands. Just an observation, nothing more.

This mitch bloke who served me was pretty pog champ, he looked like a bit of a fortnite gamer and when asked he confirmed my theory. We talked extensively about sound systems and what monitor would have the best impact on my gaming. He showed me his set up and played some house music over a speaker, overall pretty poggers.

Yes I could buy things online, but instead I visited Belrose JB HiFi to buy a Samsung tablet and instead of searching for answers on my computer I had help from a wonderful and very knowledgeable woman who answered my questions and made the selection of the best device simple and easy. Great experience and happy customer.

Stuff cuts in JBHiFi is quite evident. Was there around 1pm weekday, and hardly any staff to assist with enquiries. There was one staff who took a longtime to help out another customer, and I was about to walk out because it just took too long!! A severe lack of staff looks bad for business

Great to browse to find lots of music and movies including Golden Old classics. Friendly helpful staff. Some great unique range of pop vinyls on display. Close to other shops.The aisles might be a little tight to fit in prams or wheelchairs for easy access within some sections noted.

Never enough staff looking to help, very limited stock, don't even carry angled tv connectors. Lots of tv's and a bracket if you want to hang your tv on the wall but no 90° connectors for aerial or HDMI.

This is a homewares centre. No supermarkets. Furniture, rugs, Spotlight Fabrics, JB Hifi , Barbeques Galore etc a couple of cafes, little kids playground on top level. Burnings next door.
