Purchased a Lenovo tablet P11 plus from this JB Hi-Fi store a couple of weeks ago. Tried to find cases and protection covers online, but struggled to find models that clearly stated to be suitable to this specific model (found options for P10 and P11). Returned today to this store to ask for help. I asked the lady in the store for help from someone from the IT area, which she said she would get someone. After standing there for a few minutes while the store staff were talking between themselves, I went again to ask if someone could help me. I think they were unhappy I interrupted, so the guy came and clearly was uninterested. His advice was ‘all we have is here and you need to search online’. When I said I already did, that I would prob not have bought this model if I knew this issue and asked if he would have any hints or recommendations on where online to find a suitable case, his reply was ‘honestly, you just have to do more search’. I just left, as I felt that was bad customer service and super unhelpful. So take home message: 1- If looking for a tablet, maybe avoid Lenovo P11 plus, if looking for readily available accessories 2- Don’t expect this store will be helpful in clarifying doubts or finding items (actually, compared to other JB’s and their competitors, I would probably avoid it)

Our soundbar(Samsung Q990B) had a fault of the sides of the speaker had the glue loose. We went to the Dandenong JBHifi where we originally brought it, the people over there looked into it inspected it which made the plastic to tear off(it looked worse after the started pulling from the sides and it actually broke the speaker’s plastic. Then they told they can replace it and when checked for stocks the closest available branch was Brighton and we were asked to go to that branch with all the components. Then we went to Brighton JBHifi and spoke to the people over there and they too had a look on this, and was good to replace they checked for stocks they said they might have one but when they checked they didn’t have any, the one which was shown in stocks was the one on display. Now the manager and the salesperson who handled this was quite upset as they were very nice people called other branches to check for stocks and found one. The manager herself attended to all this and issued us a refund as well for the mishap that happened. We were finally able to get the replacement in like 3 days which was really quick! Thank you so much❤️

Terrible customer experience!!!! Visited JB HI-FI HOME at Brighton to look at Washing machine, Fridge and heater. We decided on which model we want to get for Washing machine and Fridge and help from this Scottish gentleman was OK. Although I was noticing pricing on most of the items were never updated correctly but that was OK. Then we decided to pick up just heater today as it was carriable for us and thinking about coming back again with discount voucher. just like all other items with NOT UP TO DATE price tag, heater was displayed with "before discounted" price. so we picked up the item and took it to counter, this emo-looking girl was presenting us with grumpy attitude. and as we mentioned price wasn't updated, she was sarcastically speaking whether we want to pay before discounted price. What kind of customer service is this? I am guessing she doesn't deserve to be at the counter which is face of the shop. That really deterred us from going back to buy our fridge and washing machine from the this store and we decided to go to where our money deserve. Terrible service!!

It's a JB Hi-Fi. If you've not been to one, this won't impress you. If you have, you know the sort of over price products and inattentive service to expect. They own The Good Guys which is virtually walking distance from this location, I suggest going there instead. Better service, better pricing, and if you're a credit card user (VISA, AMEX, MC) there's no "JB Hi-Fi inexplicable tax". For large appliances, or even small ones, skip the lot and head to Appliances Online where they'll do better than price match, offer free connection, delivery, and removal of your old appliance. Expect next AM delivery if all in stokc. All services which JB Hi-Fi charge for and typically 1-2 week lead time if you're lucky. JB was once an amazing, unique, place to compete with the likes of Harvey Norman, which was hardly a benchmark in the first place. If you really love a brick and mortar store, Good Guys is your destination, not a place that still embraces DVD/CDs as a large portion of its appeal (just to remind JB HiFi, it's 2019).

Went with my partner to get a new smart tv... I wanted a cheaper TV that was for sale on the floor and we had a really skinny small dude searving us and he full on questioned why I wanted a cheaper TV I said we don't need an overly priced TV and that I kn ow what salesman do to convince you to pay more for something you don't need he scoffed at me and generally made my experience so uncomfortable ened up convincing and scamming my partner into the way more expensive tv and guess what it's the worst TV I've ever owned !!! I really want to get in touch to who ever sold us because the experience was horrible and you were in fact wrong!!! If there is someone I can get in touch with to find the horrible employee please conatcT me this person should not be in sales!! Especially at JB when it's so hard to get a job!!

Worst experience ever, 2 times visiting this store, first time the sales person was very friendly and nice they were willing to come and see if the tv box fits in the car or not, second time visit, with my car, the salesperson called Adam he just gave us major and told us to just see if it fits or not. He was very unfriendly and after finished majoring, TV was definitely fits in my car but we just did not feel like buying tv from him although we said it can fit in the car he still wants to get us pay delivery fee to deliver the item…. I was very disappointed by this unfriendly staff and we could feel that he does not want to help us at all so we decided to not to buy from this store. If I can I would not give them one star… it was just very cold and bad experience……

Now one of the best JB stores around. The staff have changed and the team they've now built are absolutely exceptional. Everyone, from the TV/Hi-Fi staff (especially Ken - a nicer, more affable guy you will never meet) through to the ever wonderful mobile staff, are exceptional. Yeah, there's one or two iffy staff that probably should go, but on the whole they're a really great bunch of people who will go completely out of their way to make you happy. If you're looking for an informed, friendly experience then this is it. Be warned - they get BUSY so you may have a wait, but they're doing their best so remember to be nice. If you don't want a wait, go in the AM when they're usually pretty quiet. Huge range of home appliances along with the JB regular stock.

Went on a tuesday and waited an hour to be served for barely 5 minutes. Staff was not particularly helpful when they found out I was interested in a "cheap" $700 tv. Went back the next day with a friend and upon entry, was greeted by a staff who made a rude comment about us wearing masks. Served by another staff who quickly lost interest when he couldnt sell us a $1400 tv on the spot and who promptly became curt and short when we said we wanted to think about it. We went to The Good Guys immediately afterwards and received fantastic service and bought the $1400 tv. Weird how JB Hi-Fi and The Good Guys are owned by the same company, have similar pricing but completely different customer service standards.

I visited the JB Hi-Fi Brighton store on Saturday afternoon to buy a new TV. The store was very busy, and there was a long line at the checkout. I waited for about 15 minutes to be served, which was a bit frustrating. However, the staff member who helped me was very friendly and helpful, and she took the time to explain the different features of the TVs I was interested in. I ended up buying a TV that I was very happy with. Overall, I had a positive experience at JB Hi-Fi Brighton. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the store had a wide range of products. However, the wait time at the checkout was a bit long. If the store was less busy, I would have given it 5 stars.

Hard to get assistance. Stood at the counter while a customer service member was chatting to his mate about his fishing trip and equipment. Gave him my CEO look and only then did he stop talking to his mate, but still didn't serve me. Said he would get someone over to assist me. If l was senior management at JB, this would be a first and final warning for him. When someone turned up said they couldn't help but would get someone. No one appeared so l had to go looking again. Finally found someone who was in the area but was then he doesn't know anything about the technology l was looking at. I left the store and essentially wasted 30 minutes of my valuable time.

The Dyson I bought on 27/11/2021 has not arrived until now and it has been over two months! I am very disappointed with this shopping experience. I made several calls during this waiting period. Once I called the store and he told me the item should arrive before Christmas. But it didn't arrive! After that I called again and they told me they had no idea and didn't tell us a reasonable solution. I feel very uncomfortable! Called them again today and still told us he had no idea. What is the solution to this problem? This is your shop's problem, and I'm very disappointed with the jb-hifi whole system! ! I don't want to shop at your store anymore!

You have lost me as a customer for life. I have spent in recent months thousands of dollars with this store and they have lost me for a $59 delivery fee. I purchased a TV to be told it would be in two weeks ago. They rang me to tell me another store had the TV but I needed to pay the delivery fee. I could not get there in time so they sold the TV and now can't tell me when the next one will be available. I have bought thousands of dollars worth of equipment for my business in this store but you will not get another cent from me. Learn to understand a customers worth JB because you definitely have not done it again! Poor Customer Service!

I bought a Samsung A54 in June 2023 but was having some issues and it wasn't clear if it was a phone issue or network. I went in and spoke with Tom in the phone section from where I'd bought it. It has been quite a while since I've received great service anywhere but Tom was exceptional. He spent over an hour trying to sort things out and in the end organised a replacement phone even though I had exceeded the time period for an automatic replacement. I can't speak highly enough of the service I received and it cemented my resolve that in future JB HiFi is my first stop for all things electrical and technical. So good!!!!

Andy , the Sales Representative of JH Hifi of Brighton Super Store is the Best of the BEST ... was very impressed by his Customer Service tonight... came to purchase an Action Camera but was sadly disappointed to discover that despite the Black Friday deals they had it was not on special... He saw my great disappointment and got me the Best ever Deal I was not expecting at all and got me even better deal I had elsewhere !!! What i like most is that the staff here are always knowledgeable and helpful. You can ask about which brand is best at a particular function and they can give you a great answer. The product range is also fairly good. Lots of stuff that you wouldn't normally get at other stores. Prices will at least match anywhere else. If you find the best price via Google before you go to the store then just ask them to match the price. Parking is good - they have an area next door. Overall a really good store. My preferred place for anything electronic.

I went here to purchase a cable to connect my TV to the antenna and chose the incorrect one. I went straight back and was able to get a refund for that one and purchase the correct cable. The young lady at the payment desk was polite and helpful. I also had two staff members help me to choose the both cables. The incorrect one was my mistake. When I went back I had taken a photo of the antenna connection which helped immensely. Came home and connected without further issues. I wouldn't hesitate to go to this store in the future.

Appalling customer service on 14 Dec. Two on the registers handling what must have been complicated customer issues taking 20 minutes each. Customers wishing to purchase lining up behind for far too long. Then cashiers answering phones and processing your purchase at the same time. Very rude. Lucky the manager was in a meeting, leaving the poor old so called team leader to handle the flack from several angles. Then charged $10 more than the advertised price. Never again, management, resource and support your staff properly!

Just really really disappointing. Sales person did not know the product and refused to show me one. Sales person got upset when I asked to speak to someone more knowledgeable, then then they seemed put out that I didn't want to work with their college. No win situation. Was provided with incorrect information about warranty "100 percent covered for everything". Terrible customer service on this occasion, quite sad, really gone downhill. My family had a similar experience a week or two before when buying a mobile.

I had a great shopping experience with this store especially with Christopher. I placed an order via phone call and the stock was available. I was told to come and collect as they would make it ready in the next hour. When I arrived, to my surprise, yes my order was awaiting payment. When I asked to check out other products, Chris did not hesitate to ask me to go around and offered if he could explain to me. This is really an exceptional service. I would definitely come back to purchase other stuff here again.

Unfortunately , have had a terrible experience in ordering a dishwasher from JB Hi Fi Online. The premium delivery service does NOT include the removal of existing appliances, although you are "sold' the idea that will be the case. Only to find support hiding behind T&C's to suggest that it is our responsibility to manage this. Just be aware of these potential hidden costs when purchasing such an item from here. Have had much better dealings with Good Guys and Harvey Norman on such matters.

Shocking customer service, I will never go back. The young lady at the door did not know where the Nintendo section was. When I did speak to another staff member and explained that the Nintendo switch was available according to my online search an hour ago. She just giggled and said oh no we don’t have any in stock we just put one available just to get you to come into the store, she then said try ordering on line instead! And walked away. Terrible company

I like the location. Parking out front and beside the building. It looks like an old building re-purposed, and they have done a fairly good job. I actually went to look at projectors, but there were none on display. I can only assume they are not too popular in this store (or maybe they are a low seller). So no sale. Plenty of variety of gear here. TV's, fridges, washing machines, drones...even coffee machines. Edit: New Paint job putside!

There was a box beside the poster display marked 'free posters' found rolled up promotional posters hard to tell what some were but grabbed a Splatoon and a Kirby. When we finished shopping at the register, we mentioned it to the employee who rang us up and they seemed slightly confused but neither them or security cared so I'm guessing it was accurate. Don't really want to admit to a crime through Google reviews tbh.

Ordered a TV 4 weeks ago and it failed to be delivered. After numerous phone calls and emails between both this store and freight companies to locate my order no resolution or alternative paths were offered After 4 weeks finally a TV the same as what I ordered was located, I had to drive to collect as after multiple promised delivery dates the product still wasn't shipped. Great Product but very poor customer service

Whilst prices can be competitive staff are not very helpful. I visited at 1.15pm on a Thursday, definitely not peak time . Staff were not helpful at all, standing around and some, not all, pretending to be busy. After second time queuing at counter staff allowed another customer to push in and ask questions! Management, please train your staff in the basics of customer service and to be proactive,

Fantastic service from Luke in the computer department! He is knowledgeable about EVERY computer and laptop available in the store! He knows all specs and recommended alternatives that suited our requirements. He have just been to Harvey Norman, Good Guys and JB HI Southland and the service at any of these stores does not come anywhere near the level of service provided by Luke!

I was a bit frustrated that I went into the store specially to try out the keyboards, but most are sealed and the staff grumbled that they can't sell opened stock. Eventually a senior staff member relented but I felt I had no choice but to buy the thing by then. Surely there should be a display unit of every item? Otherwise just have an online store and be done with it.

Amazing efficient and knowledgeable service. Was badly let down by competitor who couldn’t get item by promised date and wouldn’t answer phone to advise on options. JB HiFi by comparison was simply amazing - item ready in 1 hour and the collection process was so streamlined (in and out in less than 1 minute). Friendly and helpful staff. They’ve won me over!

Helpful staff! It would be good for them to wear something to separate them from shoppers. Their ID tag holder has the store logo but its not always obvious, so I had to ask a few shoppers if they work here :). Other than that, the shop assistants were very knowledgeable and helpful.

Great headphone display. All the major brands are out of the box and available to be tested, connected to listening stations. The Sony stand is particularly good with an LED touchscreen where you can switch between models, see product features and compare.

The click and collect process was pretty easy, in and out in 2 minutes. They also had my order ready in about 30 minutes which was amazing. Just wish they had more range of some things in stock, but you can't have it all.
