Possibly the worst shopping experience to date. I was doubled charged for a click-&-collect order even after assurances from the front counter staff that I wouldn’t I originally lodged a click-&-collect order for an OLED television through the JB HI-FI online store. During the purchase, I authorized an online Pay Pal payment, as I was required to submit a payment before collecting my television at the store. When I arrived at the store for collection, a television department staff member strongly suggested that I change my order to home delivery instead, because my car was not suitable for transporting such a delicate screen panel. Fair enough, I trusted their advice on that. They issued me a new invoice, which included the cost of the television plus home delivery. When I presented the invoice to the front counter, I explained to them that I already made an online payment, but the transaction hadn’t been processed by my bank yet. They assured me that the online purchase wouldn’t be processed by my bank and I wouldn’t be double charged if I paid the new invoice with my debit card. Once again, I trusted their advice. The next day, I woke up to find that both the online order and in-store purchase were processed by my bank, and I got a lovely overdraft fee to boot. When I called back the store, the person over the phone told me that the refund can only be credited to the debit card I used for the instore purchase. On arriving at the store, all they did was cancel my online click-&-collect order. I could have done the same thing at home without having to waste my time and fuel driving to the store. In the end, I requested a refund for both my online and in-store purchase. I would be disrespecting myself if I gave you guys a single dollar after the headache I had to go through.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My experience was very similar to the review left below. Made an order, paid in full and waited 4 weeks (no news) only to find out at the end that the order had been cancelled as the item was no longer available. We then came in and were told by the store manager that we could swap it out for a different item and waited around while he disappeared into the back room for 30 minutes with no explanation and then tried to make us pay the full price for the swapped item. Finally made the swap and once again waited 3 weeks and heard nothing. When we followed it up ourselves, we were told "we don't know when we'll get anymore stock" and no update can be given. I checked another JB store and they said there was stock at various other stores. At this point, we were sick of being messed around and waiting over 2 months for an essential home item so we called to cancel the order. They told us to go to our local JB store (which we did) and were then told we needed to return it at the original store we got it from. When we came to ask for a refund, they smirked and shrugged and offered no assistance or even asked why. Simply giving attitude and palming us off to someone else to deal with. They have 0 care for customers and not only were unhelpful but also rude and have bad attitudes. We will NOT be shopping here ever again or recommending this place to anyone. Good guys were helpful, honest and gave us a discount. Train your staff better!

Worst customer experience ever. The manager Adam was very very rude. My Pixel 2 XL has a serious bug and I called up Google to ask if the pone can be returned and they sent me an email saying that it was within the trial period and can be taken back with no questions asked. The Google customer service executive at the JBHifi store also said I can have it returned. I had multiple proofs of the bug. I went there twice, the manager Adam gave all kinds of excuses and refused to have the phone exchanged or taken back. He said that Google sent them a policy saying phones can't be taken back unless the issue is tested. When I asked him to show me the policy he refused very harshly. When I said Google has sent me an email that it can be taken back, as it is within the trial period, he said it wasn't compliant with JB HiFi policies and also said that if I continued to argue he would walk away. I went to JB HiFi Chadstone and was given an option of return/refund and got the phone exchanged within 10 minutes. Adam knows no customer service. Not sure how such a big retailer has such rude people as managers. I strongly recommend you do not go to JB Hifi Holmesglen. JB Hifi Chadstone has great customer service.

To the delivery guys dropping off and positioning my new appliances in the exact desired positions. The constant and efficient attention to all of my questions. Coming from being in the sales industry myself in a high pressure environment this is by far the best customer service and sales experience I have ever had in my personal life. This team is phenomenal. Absolutely phenomenal. No matter where you are these are your people. I can’t thank the whole team enough and can’t recommend them highly enough. 5 stars don’t do them justice. Thank you again team Far exceeded my expectations A1! PHENOMENAL!!!

Last night (12/08/22 8:30 pm) I had the best customer experience/service I have ever had. A male employee named Chris deserves all praise here. I had an issue with some headphones which I had purchased a couple of months ago and this employee went seriously above and beyond to make me feel that this issue was his top priority and that he genuinely wanted to help me out. Not only did he address the issue but his knowledge of the products was superior so he gave some stellar recommendations. He knew the product and had an in-depth understanding of what makes a good wireless headphone and thus recommended some accordingly. I am not someone who usually leaves reviews but I have to give credit where credit is due, and this man deserves it all. His communication skillset and emotional intelligence are top tier and I will be recommending this JB store to people from now, all thanks to Chris and his fellow coworkers who were also extremely polite and helpful.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life!! I purchased a Hisense side by side Fridge from JB hifi Chadstone. Although my experience was pleasant instore , at the point of sale, it's been the total opposite there on out. I paid for a premium delivery service for this product, and yet that service was never provided. Delivery driver just went this jobs too hard let's drop it off in your garage. After telling me you'll get a 4 men team the following day which never happened. Customer support team doesn't know what the left hand says to the right and gives you contradicting information over and over. Finally, heard from the online customer service team leader, and with his customer service skills, I was able to receive the extra $10 I paid for premium delivery service back. Woohooo!!! As a customer I'm really happy with that service. Needless to say, I will never purchase anything from any Jb hi-fi anywhere ever again!!!

Me and my husband recently bought a present for our youngest son birthday from JB HiFi Holmesglen Chadstone and was served by a VERY young girl with tattoos of scorpion, at the cashier. She was SO VERY RUDE without any reason. Unfriendly, angry face, throwing her plastic medical glove in front of my face. After she placed the item in the plastic bag, she just rudely slam it to bench in front of me instead of handing out to me. Perhaps she had problem with her self and bringing out her issues to the more senior customer. While I noticed that before me, she served a middle age man with cheerful attitude as if she was trying to attract his attention. She absolutely desperately need learn about manners and attitude. I’ve been loyal customer since 27 years a go and never find bad young staff like this before. Or is it the current JB HiFi policy to treat customer differently based on gender and race. Thank you.

I bought a macbook pro from this store 6 days ago. 3days into using it the screen started flickering. I took it back to the store for an exchange. However, they insisted that the issue is not a manufacturing fault and did not happen on its own. They wanted to send it out for assessment which takes 4 to 6 weeks and didn't accept apple stores second opinion, they wanted to charge me $1000 to replace the screen. The staff was very rude and didn't take responsibility for the faulty item they sold only few days earlier. I took the macbook to the apple store and they kindly offered to replace the screen FREE OF CHARGE as an exception. After checking out the model and ID, I was informed that they even lied about the year and model of the laptop as well. If you're looking for quality, honesty and after-care, DO NOT BUY a thing from this sore.

I have always had a great experience with JB Hi Fi until my latest experience at this store. I purchased two Samsung 8K TVs. However, the 65 inch model was out of stock across Australia. I was encouraged to buy the display model by the salesperson. He assured me it was in great condition and had only just been put on display. I never buy display items, but trusted this salesman. Upon delivery, I noted that there were fingerprints all over the screen. And I mean serious fingerprints. Next, the remote was not working. The process to get this remote replaced was an absolute joke. It took around 5 phone calls to this JB branch. Samsung were also very difficult to deal with. All in all, took 3 weeks to get a new remote sent out to me. Not a great experience from this store.

I DON'T WANT TO GIVE EVEN ONE STAR. They didn't solve the problem, but made trouble. I can understand your limited stock and shortage of staff. I can wait for your staff to talk with me for one hour. No way to forgive your horrible attitude and disordered management. They told me they have the product in stock, I paid in full. When I needed it for the delivery, they found it's out of stock ,and they have no idea when it will be available. No one apologized. The only suggestion their manager provided is refund. How about the interest you hold my money for the long time. They emphasized they owned THE GOOD GUYS, but THE GOOD GUYS has much better service and price. Never come back to JB. If they have better price than others, I'll do the price match with other suppliers.

On 01 April 2022, I attended the Chadstone Home store and enquired about a Wacom tablet. The store attendant wasn't able to talk confidently about the item and it's features. I purchased the item in store and was directed to the Chadstone Shopping Centre store for pick-up. The item was a gift and after opening and reading the instruction guide, we discovered that it didn't suit our purpose. On the 23rd of April, I called the store and requested a return, happy to receive a credit note to buy another, more suitable tablet. I explained that the item hadn't been used. The external box is intact. Without requesting an inspection of the item and after conferring with their manager, the store representive immediately advised that the return cannot be accepted.

I will give a zero star if i can. When I let my wife bring the faulty TV, which is still under warranty as website suggests, my wife was badly treated and misled by the store manager. He said we should call the shop first before carrying the tv in. Then he refused the return even after seeing the powered tv screen and the printed tax invoice. He asked us to bring the tv home and would send a technician to check the problem. But if we left the tv in store, it would take 6 to 8 weeks to find out what the problem is. edited: The tv company admitted there was a problem with the tv and accepted the return. All in all, there is no clear "guidelines" on the tv return. The manager is rude. And the whole process takes way longer than what it supposed to be.

Want to rate worse. Worst customer service. Bought a jbl flip 4 from Chadstone JB-Hi-Fi and had no complaints with the customer service. About more than a week later I had a problem with the bass of the speaker. It had a sort of distorted sound, So I went to this Jb Becuase it was closer to home. When I got there a man with short black hair ignoring all of my problems about the speaker. Asked If I could have it replaced and ignored me. Then he started to ignore as if I wasn’t even there. By the end of testing the speaker he said there was no problem with it. I then got a bit annoyed and said “I want a new speaker or my money back”, and actually seemed to get going. Still worst customer service in a store ever. Made me feel like they were the victim

Experienced some of the cringiest and rudest customer service. What part of “We are all good” didn’t you quite get? Was it the third or the fourth time? Or did you finally get the hint when I finally told you to f off. We were quite clear that we were ok and didn’t need any help. Yet you still wouldn’t leave us alone. Condescending tone and then having the audacity to stare and laugh at us as we left the store with your work mate. And left us with the line “Don’t come back”. He went from an annoying salesman to an absolute jerk in less than a minute. Do better or just learn to read the room. Shut up and don’t harass the customers. Yes we did end up buying the Omo laundry liquid from Retro Vision. Thanks for the tip. :)

I visited your store on Wednesday evening. I was browsing and reading information on I phone accessories packaging and a guy asked if I needed a hand. I was surprised because these days it’s hard to find anyone to help you. This young guy was holding a skateboard and was in street clothes, so I did ask if he worked in store - yes he did. He was on his way home but still took the time to approach me and ask if I needed a hand - thank you! I wish I knew your name - you are awesome!! Next I was served by Jeb (I hope I’ve got that right) Bought an IPhone, and no question was too much of an effort to answer. Again, his level of attention and help was exceptional. Hope your Manager appreciates you both! Merry Christmas

The worst experience I have ever had shopping at jb hifi. I am here on 13th March at 4:30pm. We were looking at the microwave and asked a staff for some help. He walked by us twice and we asked for help twice. He said he was busy and said he would come back for us. We told him we would be waiting at the microwave area. We waited 15 minutes and he still didn’t come back. We have something to attend to so we had to leave. As we are leaving, we saw him just having a casual chat with the security. Other staffs were all attending with other customers so I wont blame them. But this curly hair, glasses wearing guy with a big belly is definitely the worst staff i have ever experienced at JB HIFI.

Went there to buy laptop, waited over 20 minutes for the sales person to come and answers the questions which i have, i did went to the service desk the lady at the service desk was nice but she did not have much knowledge about the devices so she called the salesperson who was very busy with laughing with a girl. i think they might have been talking just about theirself they just completely ignored. i am not sure who to put the fault whether it is the fault of salesperson or the store to put only 2 salesperson at front the salesperson have got beard he did looked at me and they he again start laughing with that girl. i am sure he will have his version of the story

Recently me and my girlfriend dropped through to look at a few items the team here were amazing they helped us through every painstaking question we asked and the knowledge they provide was super helpfull. We endes buying a new SONY 70" 4k 50 MONTHS INTEREST FREE tv and they organised the delivery for us even squeezed us in the next day. Id like to say thanks to edward f9r helping with all our needs and knever loosing the welcoming smile even when im sure we were frustraiting at times! No music section for cds or vinyls but atleast they had headphones. Walked in, did a complete lap of the store and walked out; waste of time. Bought headphones (at around 5pm) on the way to an appointment and we were in a hurry. Needed staff assistance and could only find one who was busy and two at registers with a long line. Asked the former employee who said they'd be with us in 5 minutes. We waited about 10 and so I walked around and found that employee standing around. Not a very good experience and as mentioned prior haven't always walked out with what I needed.

I was there this morning and was served my a lovely short lady with black hair. I wanted to buy the TV with her. Then she transferred me with a guy with a tiny tattooed star on his face and he was horrible to deal with. Guess I'll give my business elsewhere JB this is the second time I get the worst service at JB. 1st time I tried to get a S95b and the guy said it's rare and low in stock buy now or it will go back up due to demand...... This guy tells me go Sony, Hisense are awful. If they are awful then why are they around? And offering 3 year warranty?

Visibly poor customer service from this store. I've been a regular fan and customer of JB HiFi and have always recommended them. Sadly experienced really un-empathetic customer service at this store .. Purchased a Bluetooth headset and decided to return it in 5 mins as headset was hurting on the ear and wanted to try upgrading to another one. The guy at the customer service was not helpful at all, told me can't be changed (fine) but commented that "these headsets are something you will get used to" I think that's pretty unprofessional as an advice.

Everyone who knows me will know I love this store. The staff are great - yes I have my favourites - who doesn’t- and they put up with a irascible old lady who keeps asking questions and they take the time out to explain and suggest what I need. They go out of their way to find solutions and I super appreciate that. Yes there have been times when there have been issues but the then Manager Glenn Hodgeman (Hodge) sorted it out as have other managers since Glenn went north. Thank you for making it a place that is great to shop in.

Went in recently to buy a phone. No other customers in store and I still had to ask a salesperson to serve me. Instead he called for a phones person, who never comes. He rings again and someone appears, well meaning but not his area. Finally the phones dude serves me, tries to sell me a phone on a plan when I said want to buy phone outright. Left without a phone, bought the one I was looking at in store 2 days later on jb website for $200 cheaper. I wouldn't bother going back to this store. Nice ppl but not great for business.

One of the best JB in terms of customer service no doubt. I purchased a TCL 85" TV and has some minor issues with the installation and a LED strip for the TV. Josh, David and Suraj regularly looked after me at each visit to resolve my issue until I was fully satisfied. David even setup another installation job covered by JB Hi-Fi to come and replace the LED strip at my place which turned out to be faulty. I am very pleased and satisfied with the service I have been provided. Store and staff are a 10/10.

Went in to buy a Bluetooth speaker and was browsing while seeing the stuffs on display. Then comes along this guy and tells me to keep my hands off. "Hey, no touching" . I was taken back. I apologised and took the thing I wanted to buy and found someone else. I asked him if they had a 'no touching' policy, he said no, the things were on display for you to see and feel. If this is the type of customer service on receives from a reputed store I know where I'll be putting my money next time.

This is the new store ( they transferred from the complex next door), And it's the biggest jb hifi store I've ever been in. Very spacious and a good easy to navigate layout. It's a full range store, so they stock products that the small locations don't. Staff are good ( efficient). Plenty of parking including wheelchair accessible parking and entrance. They do currently require proof of vaccination and scanning in before entering the store. Overall quite a good shopping experience.

I came to JB Hi-Fi on a Friday afternoon to purchase a new laptop. The service representative 'Jessie' was extremely helpful and provided a lot of valuable information; he had a great wealth of product knowledge and delivered excellent customer service to us. This is my local JB and it's great knowing that I can come here any time and receive a high level of customer service and be offered a wide range of technology products. Thank you very much to the team at JB Hi-Fi.

The shop is situated in a great location, as a standalone shop with its own car park. Thankfully it is not in the Home plus Homemaker Centre which is next door but a nightmare to park in. The shop itself is very spacious, but still stocks everything you expect from a in hi-fi store. I was told to ask for Ezra and glad I did. He was very informative, helpful and professional. If he can do you a deal then he will. Will I come back to this store in the future? Absolutely!

As Usual the team at JB hifi, started off with a more competitive price on most of my purchase compared unfortunately to the competition's price's. ALL JB staff were helpful providing me more information about what I was buying ,HELPING ME TO MAKE A MORE INFORMED PURCHASES. Once ready to buy JB made further price discount where possible. Packaged purchases together & when required carried and loaded into vehicle. Also move stock etc to give me access to store..

Update July 2022: their customer service went from good to absolute lazy and rude. They take like for ever to help and their new workers need to be more friendly Honestly I love this jb.hi.fi very cloes to my house and helpful staff that are always ready to help me, had issues with my segway 2 time and they replaced it for me without any issues, all though waiting can be a bit boring but at the end of day they can help you out.

Well stocked. But had a bad experience trying to return something. I had an electronic item bought over 12months ago with receipt. Didn't know what the refund policy is so took it up to the counter. They told me that product isn't stocked anymore so they can't refund it. Walking out of the store, I see it stocked right by the entrance!! Dissapointed that the staff lied about this. I got the product refunded at a different store.

Our experience with Todd today was very thankful. We went to purchase a washing machine as well as a dryer. He explained it very thoroughly. Not just attempting to sell items but considering and comparing them one by one with us together. So that our decision-making was a lot easier and more manageable. Would give 0 stars if I could. After charging me for an item they were unable to provide I was instead told I could get a refund in 2-4 days which is obviously unacceptable and very illegal. Effectively they stole money from me. Staff was also extremely rude and incompetent. Won't be going back and will recommend others to avoid. I'm seeking legal advice on the money stolen from me currently.

Promised discounts after buying software in bulk. Waited over an hour for them to find it all only to be told they can't do discounts. Seriously? i have Arthritis and standing up waiting for all this just to flat out deny their promised discounts is a kick in the teeth. Skip this store and goto Ringwood, Doncaster, Knox and Nunawading stores instead. The blue haired manager here is a troll.

For my daughters birthday she wanted a mac book pro retails for $2198. Went to Harvey Norman first and wouldn't move on price. So I came to this store and $100 off the rrp. Salesman Mike done an outstanding job that I felt it would be right to write this review. Never again am I buying from Harvey Norman who's staff are arrogant non compromising and to top it off lousy customer service.

Crowley has been amazing, He has gone over and above with his service. We have had an experience with him sorting out samsung fridge issue made very relaxed, easy and this was a trick warranty replacement he has dealt with. I’ve recently started visiting this JB hi-fi over the one in Chadstone shopping centre, because not only is it significantly easier to get to, but the layout of it makes more sense, it doesn’t feel so jampacked and overwhelming. The staff are absolutely amazing they helped me over the phone after I made a purchase and couldn’t get my Apple pen working. 10/10 customer service

I went in to buy a new phone. I asked 2 staff for assistance over the course of 30mins, who called over whoever was from that section. No one came. I left without purchasing anything. Not a terrible experience by all means; only giving feedback because it was entirely obvious I required help, other customers were served before me and the store was not crazy busy either.

On this 26th Dec. It was a busy boxing day sale in the store. Crowley was able to quickly help us recommend us to a fridge and provide a competitive deal that competed with what HN was offering. Susan was very helpful and patient at the counter in processing the numerous gift voucher we had. It was good to receive top service in busy difficult environment. Thank you

After spending over 3k on a TV, I went back there to get a better HDMI cable, instead of dropping the price slightly, he tries to sell me a extended warranty on a 100 dollar cable. And the worst thing is it says Lifetime warranty on the box. Mate If I want to be ripped off I'd go to Harvey Norman, and no one cares about your gold watch.

Went there three times for simple switch to Telstra deals, not enough ground floor staffs and had to wait long for some attention. The staffs in the shop are more professional than those in Telstra own retails. But the JB service call centre seems not helping much and cause unnecessary delay, makes me go to the shop multi times.

Worst service ever. Bought one surface laptop last May. The laptop was broken one week later; after changing to a new one, it was broken two weeks ago; I sent the Laptop to JB hifi store, they said it would take two weeks to repair; I gave a call today-(2 weeks) to follow the status, the laptop is still in the store...

I went there to buy phone, no one assisst for long time then called someone from other department and he called the guy who is looking after phone section but still same. I went to this store today to buy a desktop computer. There was a somewhat good variety of PCs however, found the customer service lacking. The tall girl with darkish hair in the IT department was rude and appeared to have a zero understanding of the term 'good customer service'.

Like all JB HiFi stores, one's experience here can either be a hit or a miss, depending on the staff member who served you. Some just can't do enough to help while some are definitely not worth bothering. Fingers crossed, you get served by someone who is interested and helpful.

Brand new, huge stock, but no staff, sales people say they are sorry but either they do not know, or they are busy, or they ask to wait near the product you want to buy, or they ask to browse. All of these happened in a single visit. Best to avoid in busy Xmas times.

The collection information online is inadequate so you drive all the way down there then you can't pick it up anyway and have to pay for delivery. Just get it from someone else. It's cheaper and quicker.
