On May 16, 2023, I encountered an unfortunate situation with Kirsty, the manager on duty at this particular location. Following my recent purchase of a smartphone, I discovered that two days later JB Hi-Fi had reduced the price by 10% as part of their CLICKFRENZY23 promotion, prompting me to contact the store and request a refund for the price difference. Regrettably, Kirsty declined my request, asserting that due to the promotional nature of the offer and the fact that I was already benefiting from a $150 store credit as part of an unrelated deal, I was ineligible for the 10% refund. This claim is completely untrue, as at the time of both offers, the terms explicitly allowed customers to avail themselves of both the discount and the store credit upon purchasing the phone. Thankfully, I was able to obtain the 10% refund without any complications at another JB Hi-Fi location, where the manager not only grasped the situation but also attentively listened and helped me as a customer. I truly appreciate their understanding and assistance. The treatment and conduct displayed by Kirsty during this incident warrant serious consideration of employment repercussions. I have made the decision not to shop at this location in the future and intend to file a formal complaint with both the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) and JB Hi-Fi's corporate headquarters. If possible, I would unfortunately rate my experience with a zero-star rating.
JB hifi Parkmore needs an overhaul of their sales staff on the floor. Long time jb hifi customer however first time shopper at parkmore, have never experienced such poor customer service from jb hifi. Went into jb hifi to purchase an ipad and was met with 5 sales staff surrounding the mobile phones section, what i thought was a team meeting was actually gas bagging and talking about their upcoming weekend. No one made eye contact or attempted to offer their service and assistance and even more frustrating that there was more staff than customers (I can now understand why). Went to the front desk and was served by a female Elif who was also surrounded by a couple more sales staff. She asked one of the sales staff to assist me however he said he has now clocked off and cannot help. Another staff radioed for another sales staff to come over and assist. Not sure what was said however the response from the staff requesting a sales staff was, "there's a customer wanting to purchase an ipad", implying the sales staff did not want to assist. Jb hifi, either you invest in providing the expected customer servicing training to your sales staff OR you'll continue to see more staff than customers inside your stores.
Not sure what her name is but she's a Karen. This manager seems like the kind of person who'd try to deny her own sick grandmother a return for a faulty item if it meant she got a $100 bonus. The staff under her apologised to us for how she was acting - snarky and arrogant with no apology when she turned out to be wrong, just palmed it off to her staff member. This problem is exclusive to this store, with other JB Hi-Fi managers being generally pleasant to deal with. If you work here I suggest transferring and if you're planning a trip here I suggest shopping elsewhere, unless you want to deal with Karen and her ability to be so confident yet so wrong.
That’s so bad, I have the order in this shop and I payed 200$ for my AirPods, but then the person who delivery, they canceled my delivery. And I call for them to ask about my delivery, but the staff she said that “I can’t hear what you said”, when I asking even I repeated again for them. And when I said “ Sorry, I can’t hear what you say” , then she said ”ok, you can call back when you can hear”and she hung up. Excuse me?? That’s so rude and irresponsible. I feel so bad after this communication. Now I still waiting for my order even though I payed for 11$ for 90 minutes delivery.!!!
I visited JB Hi-Fi Parkmore store to return my faulty product. I found Katelyn who was helping with someone's warranty issue. She checked the faulty product and immediately processed refund and replaced it with a new one. She had to carry a big ladder to look for the new product on the top of shelve and I felt rather sorry for making it happen. She never lost her smile from beginning to the end and performed the best customer service ever. Katelyn is the best JB HiFi staff I've ever met. I had an absolutely fantastic experience, thanks in no small part to the outstanding service provided by Jesse and his team members in the mobile area. Their dedication, knowledge, and attention to detail truly made my visit memorable. Jesse's professionalism and warm demeanor created a welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for the entire experience. Their willingness to go the extra mile to ensure my needs were met did not go unnoticed. I'm truly grateful for Jesse and his teams exceptional service and can confidently say that they are a valuable asset to the team.
I bought Samsung A7 from them, still under warranty. They charge me $66 for assessment, I got mobile last Saturday , now I have the same issue and I went back to the store. If I want to get my mobile assessment again, I need pay $69. I thought they sent my mobile to the Samsung Store for assessment but not all. They sent my mobile to their repair store for assessment. I think they are not reliable, now they just tell me to go to Samsung Store to fix the issue, but why didn't tell me from the first visit at their store. I think they just want to make money from us.
I understand today was a black Friday weekend and the store was super busy. But I had the worst experience today as I had to wait for a long time for staff to find a key to open a cupboard which had my product (a Garmin watch) in it, and to later realise it was elsewhere all along. Staff also almost try to force the extended warranty on me. I hope JB takes the effort to educate their staff on consumer rights and also position this as a value add rather than scaring customers into buying something. I just hope that my watch works .
Had my google pixel 7 pro reviewed by their warranty team. They returned stating i had voided warranty due to a small crack and water damage. The phone has never touched water. You cannot tell me that the crack and "water damage" are the reasons that the volume buttons fell off the phone and has stopped charging. These are common problems reported online. Unfortunately i'm now considering reporting this to ACCC as anyone with a brain would know i'm getting scammed here.
I recently visited JB Hi-Fi and was extremely impressed with the level of customer service I received. The staff member Jesse was knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to help me find the product I was looking for. They took the time to answer all of my questions and even provided some helpful tips for using the product. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with the level of service I received and will definitely be returning to JB Hi-Fi in the future.
Walked in to buy some CD’s and I was told they don’t sell CD’s - there’s a whole bunch of stuff there, but the products the store/franchise originally sold they’re not selling in this particular store - therefore - this store has absolutely no purpose. I guess buying things online has to be the new way things are done if this kind of thing is allowed to happen. This store has just invalidated its own existence! Lol
Store manager is rude and unprofessional. My partner asked the cashier something that she was unsure of which both cashier then said ‘okay to do so’. Few minutes later, store manager came to scold her for doing something ‘illegal’. No questions were asked to try to understand the situation. Just accused my partner and embarrassed her in front of other customers. The worst manager I’ve heard or encounter.
I will give zero star if it is in option. One guy(staff)there does not know how to deal with all customers equally even we tell them we are interested in buying product but they are only focus on one customer without give importance to others it is horrible experience for me first time in Australia how anyone not give preference to their customers even they wait for them half an hour. So disappointed…..
I normally use the JB HiFi at Southland but I had to go over to Parkmore this time because they were out of stock on the item I wanted. Really good experience overall...staff were professional and friendly, and the one minor hiccup I had with the purchase was dealt with extremely quickly by the manager with no problems at all. Will definitely be going to these guys from now on.
Initially came in just wanting a pair of AirPods and Jesse had kindly offered to look into my phone plan and was able to offer me a plan where I would actually be saving so much more. I went it to jb on Sunday and it was very busy I was acknowledge by staff Nora asked if I needed help and told me he was just finishing up with a customer had a great conversation with him about a Telstra plan that would save me money wasn’t even looking at it but now I am!
asked for assistance, was told to wait. waited 20 minutes standing right in front of the back door and cashier, and was still not acknowledged or served. hard to believe there are only two people on the floor helping customers. terrible service.
Rang around chasing an iPhone 14 pro. Spoke to Sarah and she confirmed there was stock. Did a click and collect and Drove almost 2 hours to the other side of the city to be told they had no stock, and we got the message saying your order is
Just recently i went shopping in the new jbhifi store in parkmore shopping centre keysborough ,I was just browsing i needed to buy a couple of gifts i was approached by a staff member that offered to help me select the perfect gifts .
shirley was a pleasure to deal with, she made the whole experience at the counter very easy and streamlined and helped me find what i needed with no problem. would definitely go back and highly recommend for everyone in the area!
Not a bad store at all. Staff have good customer service and are helpful. Not a bad range of products however no dvds and cds sold here. Other than that, fairly pleasant and good shopping experience here.
Low quality services. We waited at the store for more than half an hour bit none of the staff assisted even when we approached the staff they said we are busy even when it was only 2 customers more....
staffs are always so welcoming and lovely, I just came into the store to pick up some stuff today. They were kind during process! Def recommend as prices drop for things, always have sales going on.
