Be aware of your pre ordered item as my friend experienced a funny situation today. As she bought a the Zelda 2 tears of kingdom a week ago, the price was $74, paid in full and was told that the store would send us a message or phone call to advise the item was ready for collection. As there was nothing happened yesterday when the game released, we went to the store today to pickup the item, told by the staff that we had to pay extra $5 difference since the pre-order event had been closed, as we explained what was happened, the staff insisted that this was our fault even if there maybe a JB hi-fi system issue which was failed to send notification to customers, we then had to wear the cost by paying the difference, I was like WOW, it's not about the money any more, I wouldn't treat my customer like this, luckily the branch manager was reached to come and help us, we would contact ombudsman to report the problem as it's really frustrating if the manager didn't help us. My friend pre ordered from other store and they received the Zelda Coin as the reward, and we got nothing because the branch just gave all coins away already rather than keeping it for pre-order customers, very disappointed experience

We order click and pickup on Saturday for our iphone 14 pro and when we went to the store in Springvale on Monday, they told me that the phone was sold to another person. Excuse me! we paid for it and JBhifi confirmed that is our phone and we can collect it. Then their staff sold it to someone. What is a terrible system! Does JBhifi even have a logistic? How could it happen? The solutions they gave us also not reasonable. First they will give full refund. We don't need refund. We need the phone that you gave it to someone else. Second, checking availability in other stores, but that time was end of the day and they have to wait for tomorrow to check. I went inside the website and saw the stock is less and less. Tomorrow will never have any phone left. We just need our order back. Bottom line, this is really the worst business I have ever done. JBhifi has no logistic at all. Please be aware of choosing click and pickup. Do not trust them. Importantly, where is our phone? JBhifi and their staff have done it wrongly, please correct it. Give us back our phone!

Edit: came back to pick up a vacuum that was meant to be there on Friday(today) after arranging it Monday and they were clueless. Had to ask for my name 4 times and still couldn't find a pick of information about it. Stan wasn't there unfortunately because he seems to be the only person that knows how to do his job. Got no help on arrival, no help with getting a product that wasn't on the shelf, but lots of trying to sell me a warranty even after I said no. I regret spending over $5k with these clowns in 2 weeks. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere. Or speak to Lee. .

MARCO APPRECIATION POST!!! I have never experienced such a helpful and understanding employee (this man needs a raise). I went to JB Hifi Springvale to find a laptop that can suit my engineering degree needs (keep into account I have 0 knowledge about computers). Marco was the first to approach me and was so welcoming and very easy to talk to. He was able to answer all my computer questions in ways that I could understand and was patient when I needed further explanation. Marco listened to my nonsense on several occasions (as I am very indecisive) and ensured that I was getting a laptop within my budget! Mind you, he did this all in one of the busiest times of the year (Christmas) with a beaming smile on his face! I will be going back to Marco for all my computer and technology needs!! I would give 10 stars if I could! :)

Unfriendly service and very unprofessional behaviour. Went there for a price match. One staff took over my phone and went off to another staff and started click around on my phone without my permission or supervision. I hand over my phone for you to view only, not to poke around! Followed with cold attitude and an exhibition of arrogance as if customer requesting for a price match is inferior to others who pays the tag price (I am assuming the service is better for the others, either way, there are serious issues with the service). Left the store feeling violated and unhappy. JB Hi-Fi, train your staff, if they don’t like the job enough to provide satisfactory service, replace with someone who’s professional and friendly to do it. The phone call with JB was nice, try to learn from the online department.

While it's great to have a local JB HiFi and stores are pretty similar across branches in terms of stock, I have to say this branch loses some points for customer service. I know staff change over and it can be a point in time experience, but the last few times I've felt that staff are not interested in helping even when I had big purchases to make, I stood for around 20 minutes waiting for someone to help but staff were more interested in chatting to one another, I didn't even have questions, just needed them to get me an item so I could pay and they weren't particularlybusy. I think they need to spend less time comparing ironic tattoos and edgy haircuts, and more on acknowledging customers and providing support.

This is my second visit to the Springvale store and the customer service is non-existent. Contrasting this with stores such as JB Hi-Fi, The Glen, this is almost in the never-visit-again category. Went in for a service issue that recurred the second time and the attitude was "go-away". The folks did not know that the screen protector was factory installed and tried their bit to scrape the screen protector right in front of me to prove that it was a screen protector. I literally got my phone back and left the store and started dealing with the folks at The Glen. Though the problem was not resolved at The Glen - it was the attitude to address my problem that stood out including diligent call backs.

I went to the Springvale store for a click and collect and it was a complete shambles. I received an email saying my order was ready to collect and I also confirmed it was ready over the phone. When I arrived to collect my order I was told that it wasn’t ready and that I could go to another store instead. The staff didn’t seem to care that I was misled twice into thinking my order was ready. They also did not allow me to speak to their manager and refused to provide a discount or something similar to address their bad customer service. I refused to collect my order from another store and got a refund.

The staff there are not that friendly, especially there is a lady wearing glasses with red, long curly hair who is called Xan. She is rude, unprofessional and impatient at all. I bought something there and wanna do an exchange as well, but she failed to so and splited my order because she didn't want to help us to find the salesperson who was following my order (even a i told her the salesperson was just behind her at the cashier but she asked me to find the salesperson by myself and queue again. Therefore, I can't get a refund but receiving a credit return for a JB hi-hi gift card.

I went to the store to by a pair of ear phones and the sales person I spoke to sold me a SONY - WF1000XM3 BLACK stating its best quality. I was relying on them to give me recommendations cos customers are not allowed test them before buying stating hygiene reasons and he sold me the worst ear phone I've ever purchased for $200 and they refused to change it. Completely unhappy the fact that they don't let customers test before buy a product and mislead customers. Awful service...please do not buy this product cos it's worse than a $20 ear pair of ear phones.

I had purchased a faulty laptop two weeks prior and took it in for an exchange or to be fixed. The staff were really helpful and friendly. And even when they ran a diagnosis and couldn't find anything wrong they still replaced the laptop and gave it to me for the price on special so I got a small refund. The staff were great, they did everything they could to help me out and fix the laptop. And even though they couldn't diagnose any problems they replaced it anyway for a cheaper price. They really went an extra to help me out. It was great customer service!

Uneducated stuff. My husband came to return the the item I bought a day ago and payed with my card via Apple Pay on my phone. He came today with my physical card that linked to my phone Apple Pay to do a return, and showed them that’s it’s the actual card and showed them a screenshot from my phone that they are linked. but they refused doing the return because “it’s not the same method of payment” ! Educate your staff how Apple Pay works and that it changes the card number for security !!! Very uneducated staff needs better training!!!!

Worst service out of the JB HI-FI stores. Was picking up a pre-order item, the person at the cashier looked up and sneezed - into my face. Not a single apology. Asked for a digital receipt to be sent to my number, and she said, just wait for a day otherwise call us up. Why can't you just send the receipt?! There wasn't even a queue. Waste of my time now to call back. She finished the interaction by talking to another staff member, telling her 'she was doing this before she got interrupted'.

I purchased a set of $150 JBL headphones, recommended by a staff member. I'm mostly satisfied (I just hope they don't fail after the warranty expires; they were acting strangely and turning on randomly, but return to normal after factory reset). Staff member handed the box to me without informing me that there were different colours, or asking which colour I wanted. I only realised they were not black once I opened the box. Apart from this, she was quite helpful.

Walked into JB Hi-fi with nothing in mind and no intention to buy, just wanted to check out the Black Friday specials and whether there were any good deals. After having a great conversation with Arron, ended up walking out happily $1000 later with a range of items. Arron was one of the best sales people I've ever encountered in retail with his patience, knowledge and approachability. Fantastic to deal with and will return to this outlet for any future purchases.

I had come in with a few technical issues with my laptop and the manager Dave was so accommodating, assisting me as much as he could with as little to no hassle. He was very patient where the issue had taken over 2 hours but yet, he still was providing the best customer service, and so friendly! Deon who was helping me out too also knew his items well, making recommendations. They both were so helpful and never would go to any other JB-HIFI store besides theirs.

I always go to JB even if they're not the cheapest, because of situations like today. I got a pair of Shokz Open Run Pro which really did not work for me and ended up giving me headaches (although others do like them!) The manager at Springvale JB let me exchange them for some Galaxy Buds to my great relief. Thank you to David and Sidd for their fantastic help! It's hard to make me feel good about spending $300 on headphones but you managed it.

I've been JB in Springvale several times. The staffs are always busy and ask customers to wait. Sometimes I don't know why we have no service when there are some available staffs definitely. Today I met the same situation, luckily there was a men from other department helped me a lot. He checked the item, showed me the product and tried his best to answer my questions. I really appreciated that! That's the only good thing when I shop here.

Visited this store recently and there was no staff in sight. Upon looking at the laptops, having done my research and with the intention to buy, I was abruptly told by the security guard to "look don't touch" as if I am a child. I asked how I was meant to see if I liked the laptop if I cant touch it and was told to "look then buy". The female security guards attitude was disrespectful and completely unacceptable. I took my sale elsewhere.

Very good customer services however at times the staff are a bit overwhelmed so it takes a while to get their attention. The staff have alright knowledge about items esp in the computer/ laptop section. The staff makes sure that you know what exactly you looking for. The store is pretty small so it a big hard to get round places. Sales are pretty good and stocks usually dont run out fast The warrenty is pretty good and done well.

After being a loyal customer for 10 years I finally decide not to trust this store anymore. A staff member refuse to price match with Harvey Norman for a PS5 controller which is for $78 even Harvey Norman still have it in stock on 17/09/2022 controller which is against their own policy. So I went to Harvey Norman to buy my controller instead. Don't believe me? Check the attched photo. Goodbye my beloved JB Hi-Fi.

Worst store ever. Selling faulty products then selling only options they have - which do not do the job and blaming it on health and hygiene to not refund. Scammer store not to be trusted and buy anything from. Manager says it’s customer risk can’t take a loss on store but customer can burn their time and money. Out buying a car held vacuum for the car n caravan. We went to Good Guys as we usually do, but not a good experience, yet again. Either too busy , or can't help or just can't. Went to JB n yes they had the shark hand held car vacuum n what a punch it has. Staff friendly n very helpful making us feel we were important customers. Price good and vacuum lives up to its written performance. Thank u.

The staff member spent significant time with us, answering questions and seeking advice of other staff for answers she did not know. We had gone in to buy small, cheap TV and ended up buying one over three times the price through informed choice, a decision we do not regret as we are more satisfied with the choice we made than what we would have ended up with otherwise.

They hire lots of fresh high school kids these days. Few immature and inexperienced young girls with no proper customer service skills. You'll tend to see these workers here are just talking amongst themselves and don't give their full service to customers. Not all are like this though, some of them are good just a few if you keep half an eye open around the store.

I would say the customer service is poor but that would mean some actual customer service had to have existed and happened. Couldn’t answer my question (I googled it myself). Meanwhile three individuals are behind the desk just gas bagging amongst themselves. Not a greeting when I walked in the store, not a greeting upon exit. Absolutely atrocious. Won’t be back.

After a very disppointed deal with the TV and associated issues with the delivery and the wrong remote. I was furstrated and just wanted to return. Craig (Store manaer) not only made the return smooth but gave me a great deal on a new TV and turned it around, Also would like to mention Eden (team member) for helping me pick the right TV Thankyou guys :)

I bought my first Macbook pro there. And all the staffs are wonderful and helpful. They match the lowest price that you can find. Unfortunately there is still some items that are not available if compared with store that are in the city centre or at big malls. But it should take care most of your needs.

Understaffed whenever I visit. Today waited 15 minutes for someone to come help with a vacuum robot. The item itself had no price tag on it. Once help arrived, I was told that the item was not in stock in store. I recommend everyone going straight to Harvey Norman, save yourself a lot of time!

Friendly staff, even in the lockdown and associated difficulties they've kept their high level of customer service. The orders get ready for pickup quickly afer being placed online. I've had nearly the same experience with other JB stores as well. However, Springvale store is my favourite one.

Was willing to pay ticketed price on an item when assistant told me that it is 300 cheaper without me asking. Shop was busy but he found me as soon as he was free, so it was good services for the day even if most time it had been an indifferent attitude at best from the staff.

Sid and Jun were amazing. Super funny guys and super helpful. Had issues with telstra, and they were so easy to deal with in getting it fixed. Love my new phone and will definitely come back in the future!!!

Great staff, a very large variety of goods and idealy located. Plenty of parking spaces. It's in a building full of other great shops which makes it perfect when you're not just looking for electrical goods.
