The website showed this store as being the only one with a specific smart watch in stock. So we drove in to grab it. Upon arriving we could see it in the display cabinet, but couldn't find the box to take to the counter to purchase. A staff member came to help us and looked up in their system and confirmed they didn't have any in stock. We then enquired about a different model and he confirmed that one was in stock. When we enquired about price matching Amazon he hesitated and very reluctantly said "mmm... ONLY if it's Amazon Australia." To which I said it was and I showed him it was from the official Garmin Amazon page too. He muttered something about we had to prove it also included a warranty and wandered off. I assumed to check for us. It was very confusing because I have purchased two things from JB hi-fi in the last 6 months and both have had no issues price matching with Amazon. And also being from Garmin's Amazon store, it includes the standard Garmin warranty. We stood there awkwardly waiting for him to return, but he never did. He walked back towards us several times but when he saw us waiting circled back around to pretend to straighten merchandise or attempt to help other customers who declined his services. I stood there at the end of the aisle looking around and very obviously waiting before asking my partner if he was deliberately avoiding us. I'm not sure if this is due to him not wanting to do the price match due to not receiving commission, or what the issue was, but it was really frustrating. We ended up leaving and deciding to just buy it off Amazon. What a waste of time and money, as we had to pay for parking and the petrol to drive there and back. Next time we'll just stay home and shop online. ‍♀️ (Would give zero stars for this team member if I could. Giving 2 stars as the last time I came to this store to purchase a phone they also had stock issues not matching the website, so it seems to be an ongoing issue, but at least the staff member last time was apologetic and helpful. He also happily price matched Amazon for me and didn't awkwardly try to avoid me instead!)

I came in here yesterday to get a couple of accessories for my iPad. Usually I avoid sales assistants like the plague, but the dude who approached me was actually super helpful. I told him I wasn’t sure what I needed, that I was just having a quick look and would have to do more research at home. He told me that most of the products list their compatibility on the packaging. I replied that I hate shopping and get too overwhelmed, so I don’t want to stand around reading the packaging and prefer to do the research at home. He went on to point out everything I was looking for, made personal recommendations, and then doublechecked that everything I was buying would be compatible with what I already own. I’m knocking off two stars because JB is an absolute hellscape for anybody who experiences sensory overload. There is so much advertising in there that it is actually impossible to make out what any of it actually says. The guy who helped me however, was definitely five stars ⭐️

Went to JB Hi Fi at Vic Gardens initially I was very disappointed with the service. I was not home long and received a call from the manager Filamena . It was really good how she called and genuinely wanted to help me and explained it was not their intention to have me wait and feel as I did. I really believe that was good managerial skills to reach out to customers and she also let the young men know how to handle any issues similar to this if arises. I will not hesitate to return to this store as this is brilliant customer service showing they care. With the craziness of Xmas and the covid I believe today was a huge learning curb for all involved, including myself. I wish the young men the best and believe we are learning all the time. Thankyou to Filamena the manager, it meant heaps to me. This is the store I will not hesitate returning too, knowing they have their customers best interest at heart and that customers are well taken care of.

Disappointed with the service we received here. I wanted to buy a new keyboard since my old one that I've had for 5 years is beginning to malfunction. A lady at this store, who another staff member informed us was the manager, seemed incredulous that we wanted to try the $399 Apex Pro mechanical keyboard, pointing out that there are many (differently branded and inferior membrane keyboards) on display. People whose jobs involve using computers a lot, like programmers or engineers, demand a lot from this equipment. I am disappointed that the staff member did not understand this crucial fact concerning a significant portion of what JB HIFI sells. All we wanted to do was test the switches for a few seconds- we were ready to buy. We will not be returning, since I assumed that the reason for the higher prices was good customer service.

Love JB hifi but the one at Vic gardens is not the best. Everytime I ask for help, I feel like I'm bothering them. And instead of showing me where the product is, they just point at it when I've already been in that area and could not find it. And nobody ever told me that I was eligible for a discount because I work in the centre. I found out about that when on the same day that I bought something from them, my colleague also bought something and the girl at the checkout told her that she can get a discount because she works in the centre (even tho I spent hundreds of dollars with them and always go there during my lunch time with my uniform). Will try to avoid them from now on.

Marketing with $50 vouchers - beware!!! Thought I was getting a great deal a few weeks ago with a $50 voucher - if I bought a few extra things to get my spend up to $300. Came back a few weeks later and bought 3 things ($24) ($16) ($12) …. paid the $2 extra and all ok….. However when I got home, one item didn’t fit my docking station, so went back to change it with something else a few days later …., tried to buy something else and “Oh sorry, you can only get back 92cents for that $24 item…” What a joke - ignore the JB hi fi $50 promotional stuff - or be 100% sure you know what you want before you use it. Way too much fine print to be trusted. Disappointed and dissatisfied.

Purchased a new iPhone14 from this store, arrived to collect my new phone all staff talking to each other three/four staff in the main counter couldn’t be bothered 10.30am store had just opened ! After I managed to get my click and collect was about to walk out, checked out a new case and protector again no one to serve me, asked twice to customer service person, response be there in a min or two, shock my head and walked out !!! Jumped on the Amazon app in the food court outside this store.. Brought my new cover and protector for me new phone on Amazon delivered the next day and saved $$& never again jbhifi Victoria gardens, manager and staff need a big wake up call !!!

Worst service I had from their manager, the lady who is the manager is so racist and made me feel unwelcome, I bought something from another shop and I had asked if they have the big JB HiFi plastic even though I offered to pay for it, all her staff members were okay with until she came and started screaming at me and the next thing you know she’s like do you want us to call security, left immediately but as I was walking out her stuff were still caring and asked if I was okay and some of the customers were just like at me like I’ve stollen something until they saw me go to EB Games to collect my PS5 console

I purchased a Nintendo switch game and they have me an empty plastic case. Just a plastic case. (!) My fault I didn’t check what they gave me. I contacted customer care as well and they didn’t replace nor answered to me after I kept emailing them. It’s not about the game or the Money, it’s the after service for me. Looks like that even if you are right or you are asking something complicated they don’t get back to you. I bought everything from EB games and never had issue. I even re purchased what jbhifi stole from me. Better spend your money to retailers that respect you than JBhifi if you want games.

J.B. has all your electronic needs covered and if they don't have what you need, they'll either order it or advise you of other possible options for to find exactly what you're looking for. They also do great deals, match prices or offer better deals if they can. And they have a great range of electronic products in all categories. There staff is both professional, approachable, and knowledgeable. J.B. is a well known brand that has been in the electronics business for over 20 years. There products are great quality and trustworthy. I thoroughly recommend J.B.

JB stores and online are generally awesome. Though at this particular store I had an unfortunate experience when picking up a repaired item, as arranged by customer service at their HQ. The member of staff was so derisory, and mockingly vitriolic it ended up being comical - like a caricature on shows like Curb Your Enthusiasm. Other customers might not have been amused - so roll the dice if you wish. Giving two stars because the whole team shouldn’t be tarred by one bad apple, and everyone can have bad days.

A very disappointing visit. I saw a Nokia phone online that I wanted to purchase. The website showed it was in stock at this store. I rang to confirm it was available as stores close to me had no stock. When I arrived the staff member checked the inventory on the computer and went to fetch it. A few minutes later, he told me there were none left despite showing available in the computer and suggested I call other stores. A waste of a long trip out of my way and then had to pay for car parking.

Great little store. ie: JB-Lite. Has everything EXCEPT TV's. Laptops galore. Excellent selection of security webcams, and everything you need for city living. Gaming gear incl chairs. Even drones. But go to another store if you are shopping for a TV. I would normally give a 5 star rating, but I especially came here for a TV. {Maybe hint to people there is no home TV's or home theatre systems here...like branding it "JB Lite".} Lol (-1 star... sorry JB. I still ❤ you)

1 start as the customer rep I chose to approached provided terrible service and show a lack intention to provide support. The service rep pointed to where the product I was looking for "might" and ignored me.. after a while I found what I was looking for but it was locked... so had to go back to tell him I found it and needed help... The service of this store is incredibly slow compared to the city and Brunswick east store. And yes, it is not a busy time. Another time They also refused to provide me a shopping bag when I purchased with more than 2 items with click and collect while another customer who came to pick up his product left with a shopping bag. Will never come to this store, and the manager should train your employees.

I bought a phone at JB Victoria Gardens, and it was a great experience all round. I went at a quiet time and I got lots of help from the young man (Chennis? not sure, but from Nepal). He was informative and helpful and patient. Well done. Update: the phone was a bit problematic and Jenish and Luke were super helpful over several visits. Six stars.

3 stars only because I am fairly neutral to this store. Was so pumped when I saw they were opening at Victoria Gardens as that is where I shop regularly. But then disappointment upon seeing they don't sell CDs or DVDs - isn't that the main reason JB HIFI exists? lol. So shall continue travelling to Brunswick or Preston instead.

Friendly and helpful staff make this a great store. It's quite small compared to their other stores so it doesn't have TVs and hi-fi equipment, catering instead to tech like phones, tablets and laptops, as well as game consoles. It was also pretty quiet when I was there so you'll be served quickly.

Don’t be fooled by there overpriced old fashioned speakers like I was lol. No advice just wanting to upsell and like 10 floor staff and no customers lol. Amazon has the modern version of the speakers with Bluetooth for the same price! Big mistake thinking jb hifi was still a good place to shop.
