This is by far the WORST JB store I’ve ever shopped at. I live local and need to pop in at times as there isn’t a similar store close. Every time I walk in, there is about 8 staff members and the store isn’t close to busy. I walk around trying to find what I’m after and the staff are standing in groups talking and laughing, seeing me but they always act like I’m not there. When I go up and ask to find what I’m after they treat you like it’s the hardest thing on earth. The last straw was today I had to buy a powerboard. I ride a motorbike so I needed to take it out of its box so it fit In my bag. It’s a small box…I asked a staff member if they could please take it and put in there big bins which she told me “no there are bins out on the street up the road” If you can, go to Goodguys, Harvey or bing lee and save yourself the experience

I've been here a few times as it's the only store of its type around. Rarely will the staff help you, my most recent visit I went in to buy the new Samsung S23 Ultra, and no staff member approached to help me buy it. Which is unusual for a jbhifi, as every other jb I've been to the staff were helpful and quickly approached to sell the expensive locked electronics. The only person that seems to acknowledge your existence is the security person at the entrance. Avoid going to this jbhifi if you have the choice.

Dishonest. Asked to buy a phone they had on special which was clearly labelled at half price on the display wall. Salesman looked on his computer then claimed they had no stock and sent me off to purchase at another store half an hour away. Turns out they did have stock just the sale had expired the night before and it was easier to lie than honour yesterday's price. The other JB store was sympathetic but would not help, so giant waste of time and fuel driving around.

JB Hifi North Sydney has been my go-to electronics store for quite a few years now as I was working in North Sydney. Peter, Matt and the team have always been really professional and decent people to deal with, and although I am WFH mainly out in the suburbs near Castle Hill, I always go to JB Hifi North Sydney when I am doing a significant purchase as I am confident of their good sales and post-sales service.

I always enjoy just walking into a jb hifi store … anywhere .. several times at Moore park, within the QVB , Southbank, and now nth Sydney. I’ve purchased items from expansion hard drives to upgrading iPhones , toothbrushes to laptops. Customer service is excellent, never a hard sell, and always satisfied with purchase as you’re provided with all information needed to make best informed choice.

Not just another JB. I must say that service makes a big difference when shopping around. Eddie did it again! Been shopping here for a while and the main reason is the service. Eddie took his time to listen to my concerns and give me advice in the best headphones I could get for my needs and budget. World class service - 5 stars here!

We went there for Philips Multi cooker and checked the availability online. It showed Chatswood had the stock and the shop assistant said no. We need to go the North Sydney shop. We have traveled from Macquarie Centre to Chatswood already. We didn’t bother drive there and simply bought it at MYER instead

Walked into the store today to pick up my click and collect order and purchase a smart watch. I forgot to ask the name of the boy who assisted me but he was exceptionally polite and helpful. Unlike the other stores, all the staff at North Sydney are just amazing and lovely people. A very happy customer!

I just went in to JB hi-fi North Sydney to buy a basic bumper and screen protector for a Apple Watch series 7 for my kid, obviously it’s not a massive purchase but Cathy was happy to helpe me and was absolutely sensational. I would definitely recommend I continue come to this JB hi-fi.

I had an issue with an online purchase that I took to Matt, the store manager. Received some of the best customer service I have ever received in a retail store. Matt went above and beyond. Thanks again and will ensure I deal directly with the North Sydney store as much as I can.

The staff was absolutely rude and didn’t help atall. I’ve been to alot of JB Hi-Fi stores and this was my worst experience ever. It really brings down the image of what I thought was an amazing tech shop. Utterly disappointed! Wish I could give minus stars for this experience.

Poor customer service. Staff don’t communicate with customer. Even I really bought a phone. I felt i was treated like a beggar. I thought JB Hifi is a good company , but I was really disappointed . I think staff treat client differently according to their background

Sales staff and then the manager refused to sell me 3 Nintendo pro controllers because I was using gift cards (with no Nintendo exclusions). They ‘allowed’ the sale of 2 controllers. Strange JB store and strange management that reflects in the customer experience.

Shout out to Oscar and the team at North Sydney. Very accomodating and helpful. Helped me get an amazing deal. Wish I had come here earlier. Next time I come Sydney I'll be shopping at North Sydney JBHifi

JB has very competitive prices on everything electronic, lots of different products to choose from, if you're after a gift for your dad, brother or boyfriend get them a JB gift card they will love it.

excellent business, very clean and organised aisles. this store has fast customer service, and thanks to the help of the nice employees, i found exactly what i was looking for in a matter of minutes.

The cashier was disrespectful when we had to return an item that they said was compatible but it turned out that it wasn’t. Replacement was eventually done but the customer experience was the worst.

Sales Staff were helpful during purchase but i am waiting for more than 02 weeks for my new phone to be delivered. Apparently the delivery person stuffed it up but knows ...

Attitude on Price Beat, other JB has had no issues. Recommend using the Live Chat instead of dealing with their staff. Simple yes or no would be professional.

So... You are in Sydney and you MUST check it! It has a lot of stuff and the prices aren't so high. It is not cheap but the quality is 1st Class.

The staff at this JB HIFI will go out of their way to assist and give you all the information you need on laptops or any electronic product.
