Take your money elsewhere! JB Hi-Fi Epping is the worst store. We purchased a delonghi coffee machine paid $799 took it home unboxed it and noticed the plastic covering on the side of coffee machine was lifted and not sitting right. I called the store immediately and was told to bring it back when. When I arrived at store the manager Zena very frustrated came over to serve me. I told her what had happened and the first thing she said was ‘nah no way this was from the manufacturer, it looked like the plastic had been snapped off’. She basically accused me of breaking my coffee machine I had purchased a few hours prior. She offered to contact delonghi but why would I need to if I haven't even switched the machine on. It was an obvious fault at store level. After going back and forth for a bit I went into a panic attack from her accusations against me and asked for my receipt and left. My husband then tried to go back also and return it but she had left for the day and told the employees not to help us. One of the most rudest people I have ever come by in my life. It is not okay to treat anyone like this, it’s disgusting customer service. I put a complaint in and the regional manager Matt contacted me. He mentioned how they had a store discussion and that she had said that I was being rude which was not true but anyone’s tone would have changed in my position. Matt did apologise for how things had turned out but I did not feel like it was taken so seriously. I told him we’re gonna try the coffee machine for a week and see how it goes. One week later and it’s faulty, so I again contact the Epping store only to be refused a refund or exchange once again by Mick. He apparently had to send it away to delonghi before he can make a decision. The following day I contacted delonghi and explained it to them the situation, they immediately WITHOUT question issued an email for a refund from JB hi-fi. And that week we took it back in and thankfully received our money back. All thanks to the amazing lady at delonghi who listened to our concerns and took them seriously. Do not shop here, this manager Zena is just plain nasty and rude, and customer service in the actual store was shocking compared to other JBs I’ve been to.

I recently bought a tripod and ring light for my mother's makeup business from the Thomastown jbhifi store. Unfortunately, the store provided and instructed us to buy a tripod that was only built for a camera, and not a ring-light. I went to the Epping store to ask why the products were not working as I did not know at the time, and thats when I met Shane (apologies if I misspelt your name Shane!). I explained to Shane my case, and he immediately apologised and explained that the tripod was only for cameras. I told him that an apology was not necessary as he had not made the mistake nor had the Epping store made it, but he explained that he didn't want that mistake to reflect the jbhifi customer service, and that he wanted to ensure that I came and left with my desired product as happy as possible. I was shocked to see his commitment and pride to the store, especially as he seemed to genuinely care about the reputation and stores customer service to its customers. He then took me to the ring-light section, where he found me a cheaper ring-light that suited my mothers needs perfectly. He then instructed me to go the counter, where he vouched that my previously bought products were in good condition, and explained why I wanted to refund the old products and buy the new ring-light. I asked him if there was any place where I could leave a good word for him out of my appreciation, and he told me that it wasn't necessary and that he was only doing what he had to do. I was able to refund my products and leave with a perfect product for my mum, all whilst feeling that I had been listened to, understood and taken care off perfectly by Shane. It was a perfect customer service scenario, and I am highly appreciative that he was able to assist me. All the best to the store and Shane! Hadi

Went in today to get my $69.95 Otterbox phone case replaced under its lifetime warranty. The Otterbox warranty claim process directed me to go to the retailer I purchased the case from but when I got there the staff person I spoke to initially was super short and dismissive right off the bat telling me that I had to contact OtterBox about the warranty even though I obviously checked the otterbox website before going to the store. The staff person then asked a second staff person to have a look, she went out the back and came back a few minutes later and just told me the same thing. Obviously neither of them tried going on the otterbox website to do what they were telling me to do because they would have found the website told them to go to the retailer about the warranty... JB staff clearly don't know the products they're selling and don't understand incredibly rudimentary australian consumer law, like you can't sell something that says "lifetime warranty" on the box and then not honour that warranty when someone comes in to claim. Anyway here's a meme that accurately sums up this ridiculous scenario...

After having no luck with being able to the iPhone 15 Pro Max anywhere in Melbourne due to low stock, I thought to try my luck & drop by Epping JB HI-FI on my way home even with 30 mins before closing just in case they might have had anything. I was greeted by the loveliest guy who worked in the stock department, as the phone specialists were busy with clients at the time & he worked wonders with retrieving the model I was after. I was then passed on to Angelica who was working in the phone department & she was so kind/professional when it came to setting up my phone with my Telstra plan. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for such lovely service & it is just so nice to see such a lovely sales consultant who doesn’t push any extra products on to you . She is straight to the point with a smile on her face & makes you feel great about your new purchase ☺️ Thanks so much again team & I am so happy to have brought from here xx

Went to JB Hi-Fi on 28/4/2022, and the service was great, which is a change for this store.They were busy, clearly not enough staff however Rach was there, apparently Rach works at another store, and was willing to help me with the phone that I wanted. She was incredibly patient and helpful with explaining the phone how to insert SIM and how to transfer data from my old phone. Returned on the 2/5/2022, to return the phoneas it was a P.O.S. The reason JB Hi-Fi has lost a star is because the two staff members who were talking to each other about being casual, had to be asked to come and help me after I had been waiting a substantial amount of time. Once I got some help from Patrick, he was incredibly helpful with returning the phone and assisting me to find a new phone within my budget that was capable of doing everything I needed it to do.

Had a wonderful experience at JB in Epping today thanks to the store manager Jason who resolved an issue that craigieburn had created. He did so very professionally and calmly as if he already knew the outcome before contacting the craigieburn store to go over their annoying stuff up. He told us to come back after half an hour which should give him enough time to work something out and to our surprise he went above and beyond to get my husband the appliance he was hoping to receive and had been waiting so long for. Thanks Jason for wiping the disappointment off our face and for also talking to craigieburn on our behalf as I was extremely dissatisfied with them at that point! Thanks for also caring about your job and valuing customers as that is what everyone should carry as virtues in the workplace.

Store : epping plaza shopping centre Order no : JB-13141958 Absolute pathetic customer service experience at click and collect service. The staff(a lady) and manager(a lady) both were very rude and threaten me to cancel the order. I requested both to verify my order with any other method as I forgot my physical ID at home. But they are not happy to assist because they pretend to be a robot not human as they said it’s on the email that you need to bring your id. I was happy to show id on mobile I.e drivers licence/passport. Instead of understanding my situation they asked me to travel all the 30 kms to and from to bring the physical ID or cancel the order. Never experienced such inhuman experience. I placed order at this store just because my near by store didn’t have in stock. Feeling really bad..

This doesn’t reflect a review about the store and staff in general. Been there multiple times and happy with the service. Last week we bought an action camera, they didn’t have a demo piece so unable to try before purchase. After purchase not satisfied with battery and camera performance so went back to return. Initially ready for refund then they said can’t as the seal was open and product is not faulty.Doesn’t make sense as there is no chance to try camera without opening seal and no demo piece. We went to another store explained same and they refunded. So if u are in similar situation don’t be honest and state product is faulty or try different store. No offence to other amazing staff there.

I usually have the worst customer service at JB Hi Fi in epping but this review is not for the store is for one of the staff members a young man Aaron that went above and beyond to assist me when i was there. Aaron was amazing with his customer service very helpful and very polite unlike other staff members who are very rude and ignorant. I hope Aaron’s manager will see this and learn from this young man to train their other staff to act and be more like Aaron. As i said earlier the review is not for the store it’s for Aaron and please make sure to have people like him hired more often. Thank you Aaron for your customer service well done keep it up

I visited Epping's JB Hi-fi store to pick up an online order via click and collect and I was super impressed by the wonderful, quick, efficient and professional service I received! I ordered my item after-hours on a Saturday night and it was ready for collection exactly 13 minutes after the store opening time on Sunday morning (the next day)! Amazing service! The lovely young woman who assisted me with the collection of my item was friendly and efficient. I can't recommend this store highly enough! The range of items in this store is also extensive. I look forward to shopping here again soon!

i went to the store to do the price match of a product in Big W, i did the price match in other JB that the staff there were more helpful, but i went Epping JB tried to price match exactly same product they was rejected, the manager in this store did not look friendly, was explained they only price match in local store, if local Big W had stock why i need to do price match with them!!! i don't know why some JB can do that help for this Price match and this store can't? not a good experience with this store, if next time i would like to buy something, i won't be consider with JB Epping.

Very poor customer service, over 10 staff members walked passed me waiting at a desk for help. everyone was more interested in talking with coworkers than helping the customer. I even walked to the staff standing around together and they all quickly walked away pretending to be busy, which was very frustrating especially because I walk with a walking ad. After 20 minutes of this, I went to the register and the only two staff members who seemed to be doing all the work in the whole shop, finally helped me in less than 1 minute and I was out the door. What a headache just to get help.

Worst jb hifi aa per customer service. The staff at billin counter today was damn rude. I went in at 4.30 pm today and showed them the cover which i got for 119.95 few days back. The cover had bad quality issues and one of the staff said that they will replace it but when i went to counter the lady at billing counter was so rude that she was not even listening to me. Just repeating we cant we cant like a robot. I decided to buy new iphone today as well from them but dropped it. Poor customer service. Zero star

I recently had my phone stolen I went to JB HI FI Epping Plaza to have a look at a new phone whilst looking in the phone section I was greeted by Jeammy, she was very helpful and pointed me in the right direction. Had some troubles to port my number to a new network, she got on the phone and sorted everything out for me. After a stressful couple of days I was stoked that she sorted everything for me. She definitely has outstanding customer service. She went above and beyond to help me out.

Hi just went into JB in epping on Boxing Day. It was pretty crazy, loads of people flooding in and out and had potential to be a stressful experience. However, a sales assistant there called Nathan was amazing! He kept calm amongst the chaos was able to give me a great service, recommended products on sale, which saved me a bit of cash and overall just left me feeling happy with a new laptop which ticked all my boxes. Before he served me. I was a bit lost and was going to walk out.

As someone that's worked in retail before I understand the customer is the number 1 priority the staff you seem to ignore you and run away and only approach you a last resort. I don't feel it's a welcoming environment and I feel as a customer you shouldn't have to chase staff members down I think I'm over all JB Hi-Fi has dropped the ball and needs to retrain their stuff and customer service skills in a bit more integrity . I would encourage a mystery shopper program

TERRIBLE customer service. Rubbish people work there. Had an issued with a Nintendo switch OLED, green tint on left side of screen in certain shades of black and grey and the tech guys were clueless and couldn’t see it. They told me they would have to send unit in to Nintendo for evaluation. This is a common issue with switch OLED and they should know that. It’s anti consumer and ridiculous to pawn me of to manufacture. This is the worst jb hi fi in Melbourne.

Customer service was well below average. Stood waiting for staff to purchase a product for 20 minutes, when other staff members were called to the area to help, they attended to other customers who only just walked in store. I asked 3 staff members for help to purchase an item, then was told by a female staff member... "we know your waiting" with attitude. So I walked out. Staff service at Broadmeadows was excellent. Will avoid epping at all cost now.

Would not go back to this store. The staff do not appear interested in anyone over the age of 30, then you are treated like a child. Waited around to get assistance for 10 minutes with only about 4 other people in the shop. The only way to get anyone to talk to me was to go to the Security Guard on the door and naturally he was no IT expert. None of the staff could care less! They forget that their customers no matter what age, pay their wages.

Went in looking for that is also friendly with a hearing aid to fit over. The young man with short but very curly hair kept trying to sell me airpods that apple make the best products with the best battery life. I could use both of them in the one ear for a really long time between charging. I clearly said i wanted headphones several times. I am not deaf i just can't hear certain tones. That was not what I was after so I left unhappy.

I love jb however last 2 times I bought something had terrible experience they say on their website they are enthusiastic about prices wich is not true I like bargaining I've always done it but they make you feel like your lower class like your begging, first time I spent almost 1000 dollars and they would not budge finally they gave me 2 dollars off what an insult 2nd time spent about 700 same thing very disappointed with their attitude

The service here was a mixed bag. Some staff members were really disengaged. Shout out to Mohammed, Tyler and Huss who provided good service even at busy times and hence the stars. There was a girl staff member who I would not like to name, but she looked almost upset at being asked to help. Had a rude attitude towards customers and her colleagues as well. Had an angry expression throughout. If I was only served by her it would be zero.

I am regular customer and usually place my order thru the cart sms feature. One "extra" smart staff rejected that she cant do that for me and told me to come instore for any order or price match. Jeammy is an INCREDIBLE sales assistant. I have never had an experience in any store as great as the one I had today. She is so knowledgeable about the products and gave the best advice that I came away with the best deal possible. Was told they would replace the 4k Apple TV that's just out of warranty but when we took it back all in its original packaging, a different person that served us said no and to take it back to Apple. Which is the reason we were told in the first place to bring it back to the store to have it replaced regardless, to avoid the hassle & wait long wait having the products issue resolved by Apple.

Soo when you tell the young stuff that you need help with computer charges and read them the info, one would presume that they know what Im after ‍♀️ But: " Go and find someone else to help you " is not what I was expecting. After I was passed on to another two salespeople, I finally got what I was after. My suggestion is to train and retrain your stuff so you can give better service.

Everytime l visit this jb, l find the staff don't care, don't want to help and are rude. This has happened to me several times, and because of this, they have lost several decent sales where l just go to thomastown and buy my televisions or computers from them. Jb has other stores that are helpful, Just not this one. That's been my experience in the past.

The store has a pretty good range of all the familiar brands. The problem was that they are so short staffed that there is no one to assist with the simplest inquiry. There was one person on the register and two selling phones and no other staff member visible. I’d prefer to shop locally but if i am not going to get service I’ll go somewhere else.

Worst customer service. Three stuff members all huddled together at the front of the store chatting. No greeting when I walked in. When I asked about the product I was after which was in a locked case I got told yeah it’s whatever is in there. Seems like flirting with coworkers is more important than actually doing your job at this store.

Customer service is absolute rubbish here. Our tv stopped working shortly after we got it. Ordering in a new one took forever to get sorted and didn't get in for months. Every call they're not able to help and put you on to 'someone else', which means they just put you on hold and never get back to you. Won't be purchasing here again

As I was walking out the door a sales girl have a nice day which I replied I will spend my money elsewhere. Then they offered to help me then. But I still left.

I visited JB Hi fi Epping plaza to have a look at a TV and sound system. Jose is very knowledgeable. He suggested a perfect package that is best suited to my place. He also gave me a good deal with the current sale that they have including delivery. I’ll definitely be buying from Jb again. Thanks heaps Jose.

The store layout was different and a little worse in my opinion compared to other jb hi-fi stores, and also my phone couldnt receive network inside the store so it was a little hard comparing models of laptops as i was buying a new one for my grandfather. Besides all that the store is pretty decent.

I visited to collect order. The click and collect facility could be improved by having some sort of indicator (a ring bell or similar) to let the staff know that someone has come to collect the order. The staff is helpful as always but reaching the click and collect staff is a bit challenging.

Short staff, asking for help (price check) near reception, get asked to go front for assistance. Only 2 staff. Had to ask and they call extra assistance still no one attended. 10 mins later guy comes up rough no customer service. If you need advice on product info, don’t bother coming here.

Went to pick up a $2K+ item, and experienced a very poor customer service in this JB Hi-Fi branch. The staff prefer to clean the dust on the shelves rather than helping and answering the queries of the customers! Really need to improve their management and customer service.

Place is understaffed. The floor staff seem like theu are either stretched or disinterested at times. Walked out a couple of times because I couldn't get no help. Went to JBhifi in northland and they were very courteous and helpful.
