I am always a loyal customer of JBHIFI, bought lots of home appliances and electronic devices such as LG TV, Apple Laptop and video games etc. I love going shopping at JBHIFI as most of the staff are very friendly and helpful and also, JBHIFI do provide lots of good quality stuff with reasonable price. However, the above good experience ended in this afternoon after I stepped into Airport West JBHIFI store in VIC. I was after an Apple Watch Series 8 and went to Watergardens store (closest to my home) but I was told that it had just been sold out and staff suggested me going to Airport West. I spent 30 minutes driving there and before I went in, I called JBHIFI phone service first as I had The Good Guys Gift Cards with 5% off discount and wanted to check if JBHIFI could offer me a 5% discount so that I could buy it from JBHIFI. A lady picked up the phone, and she checked on her end and said she could not match the 5% but what she offered was a $10 discount. I accepted it and she sent me the link. Then, at around 15:20 on 6/10/2022, I went into the Airport West store, there were almost no customers in the store at that time and so many free sales assistants but no one came to me proactively. An Asian salesman with glasses (Brian) walked past and I said to him that I wanted to buy this Watch and asked the same question as I asked over the phone with the lady. He told me in a second without thinking and checking anything that he could not give me the discount and asked me to go to The Good Guys to buy this one. He said it to me at least three times. I was so confused that I am your JBHIFI's customer and he is an employee at JBHIFI but why he kept pushing me out of the door and asked me to go to a competitor to buy the item. I know that I am not a major customer for JBHIFI and maybe the profit JBHIFI gain from this Watch means nothing to them, but can you imagine how many customers you lose everyday just because of him in a way to asking customers to go to somewhere else to buy. Then, I showed him the link that the lady gave me over the phone and told him that your online service people gave me $10 discount. I asked him if he could provide the same discount for me, otherwise I would waste my 30 minutes today to drive here. Not surprisingly, he did not even think about it or check anything on his "machine" but just said no we cannot give you any discount even though the online team provided you with that. Again, he asked me to buy online and pick up in the store. I told him that I drove long way to here and just wanted to buy it today. I bought lots of items before at JBHIFI, those in-store staff always helped me to match the price that JBHIFI online service people offered me. I just do not understand why he treated me like that kind of personally. The points that he delivered the bad customer services are: 1) he was free but he did not proactively come to help. He saw me already before I came to him. 2) he repeatedly asked me to go to The Good Guys to buy the watch. I was at JBHIFI, why I had to go to The Good Guys? 3) He did not check anything on his "machine" on hand and just gave me the answer without thinking. Why I went to the counter eventually and the lady over the counter could give me the $10 discount? Why he could not do that? Because he was too lazy to check and was too unfriendly to help. I hope this feedback will be passed onto the Airport West store manager or area manager who can have a read and provide a formal training to their employees on how to serve customers and how to retain them, instead of keep asking customers to go away. Everything I provided above is true, and his passive behaviour can be proved by CCTV in the store.

First time I purchased an item in JB’s website. Initially I thought it was easy and quick. I purchased a dishwasher for around $500. I got an email confirmation within a few minutes and I expected it may take a few days for delivery. A few days later I received an email from their customer service team saying that the dishwasher is out of stock and the ETA at their warehouse was 14th July, so I booked my plumber in for the 20th, giving them a few more days if there’s a delay. Still they had 2 weeks to get the item in and arrange delivery. I emailed them on the 18th just to confirm that everything was on track as I hadn’t heard from them (no news is good news right?), and they responded on the 19th saying that they are still out of stock and don’t have an ETA. Seriously? They’re joking right? I’ve worked in customer service, so I understand SLA’s and why good communication is needed as customers they use the information provided to make plans around that information... which is exactly what I did. I emailed back to say that their response wasn’t acceptable given the circumstances and they responded to me again simply saying that they won’t be delivering the item. I get that they are out of stock, yet they made absolutely no attempt in fixing the issue or making it right. They don’t have stock, so that’s it, right? Just cancel the order and thanks for wasting two weeks of my time? Pathetic custlmer service team, led by management who doesn’t care about their customers. This is how you lose a customer for life.

Manager that was on duty today was appalling. My husband went in to get a game price matched with the Target price and the manager claimed that JB HI-FI does not price match. Apparently she has worked there for 6 years and has never price matched and that what is stated on the website is not policy, its just to keep the customers happy (because it makes customers happy when companies don't follow through with written policies?). After my husband showed her JB Hi-FI's price match policy that is on their website AND on their counter, she said that she would never price match something that is cheaper than what she could get for as staff. If this is true JB Hi-Fi you need to update the information on you policy indicating the price match limitation. If this is not true than your staff or at the very least the store managers need training on company policies. The manager then proceeds to tell my husband that he could complain if he wanted, to which he said he would and asked for her name which she refused to give at first and later on gave a name (who knows if its her real name). Oh and to top it off as my husband was walking out of the store the manager yelled to my husband that he was SAD. I am sure the rest of the staff at this store is lovely but this manager needs more training in customer service and store policies.

The staff is super rude with customers and they do not follow what Australian Consumer Law says. I bought a Asus zenbook duo laptop 8 months ago and started presenting problems with the screen after 7 months. I have had to take it there for warranty but the staff members bwere saying because I did not buy the extended warranty they couldn't replace the device which is illegal. Instead they offer to fix it but when they "fix it" forgot to install the drivers and were not showing the on the bios so I took it back two days later and the staff were talking to me like it was my fault like the didn't wanted to take it back. Than I got a text to pick up my laptop today and they miss the box with all the codes and Microsoft key (very important) and then I ask for it and they started saying that it was not their fault and I had to take it like that. They I ask them to make a not about that and telling them that it was not okey give it back like that and then this guy told me: shut up and listen super rude with customers and probably racist. I took the precautions of record all the conversation with them so I am going to take this matter to consume affairs Victoria as now my computer does not only not working properly but is incomplete as the keys were lost. Don't buy there!!!! Worst experience ever.

I would like to thank Jb Airport West for the exceptional service I received from their consultant Daniel. I called on 29/6/22 to discuss a smart tv I was interested in and Daniel was exceptionally helpful. As I was limited with space on my wall , Daniel took the initiative to provide dimensions of the tv to ensure it would fit nicely and explained it was very user friendly and assured me I'd have no problems setting it up, but suggested if I had any concerns to contact him. Daniel spoke very professionally over the ph and was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to listen..which is what I find is a thing of the past now,, His enthusiasm to help was THE DIFFERENCE..It made me feel confident and comfortable to purchase from him over the ph. As technology is always changing, it can be overwhelming but peace of mind is what I received. He arranged for the order to be placed and collected in no time at all.. he explained step by step the procedures I'd need to follow once the email confirmation came thru.. Well Done Jb Airport West, you truly have a passionate employee serving your customers who deserves to be acknowledged for his outstanding service. Thank you Daniel, the tv is fantastic and the additional sound bar I also purchased was exactly what we needed!!

Sack Nathan (store manager) Went in store today to return a faulty Motorola Razr 2022 phone that I purchased 3 months ago from this store. I showed the numerous problems I was having with everyday features such a messaging pictures and videos, opening files, screenshots, etc. Instead of providing a solution Nathan asked if I had an IPhone before which I told him I did. Instantly he had the mindset that I was only returning the phone because of “change of mind” and told me this is how normal android features function and can’t provide a refund or exchange on those grounds as he sees no fault although saying many times he isn’t a technician. To get a second opinion I showed the problems with the phone technicians in the same shopping centre and they said it was clearly a faulty product due to a system glitch. Due to Nathan being way above his pay grade I went to another JB nearby which were very helpful as they saw a major fault and took the necessary steps to provide an exchange for a new iPhone without any problems. Felt good coming back with a brand new iPhone in hand to ask for your name so I can give you this L. Good luck with your “thriving career” lol.

Yeah nah. Ok, very hard to get someone to serve you had to ask a mumber of times. We were looking at a Samsung A13 marked at $329 asked if any wriggle room was told $199 that's good right? which is the market price btw. But what happens to any customers who don't ask for the best price? Ripped off! I sincerely the correct price is on the phone now. Then I was told I'd need to buy the wall plug as most phones come without one now. I was offered 80c discount yes 80c off buying charger, which ultimately I wouldn't need. Because fortuitously a more senior salesperson heard the conversation and said it came with the charger. I'd give the female salesperson a fail she wasn't particularly knowledgeable and no apology for incorrect price on phone and error re charger. So overall not a great experience. I was generous with 3 stars realistically 2-2.5. However in all fairness the customer service is usually good at this store..

Purchased a laptop for work which I was told was on order and would be in within a week. After a week of waiting I called to enquire to be told the laptop wasn't expected until the end of July. When I told them I couldn't wait that long and was told I'd have it in the week, they offered to give me another laptop with similar specifications. Amazing. After waiting on hold for 15mins and finally getting someone to help, I agreed to paying the $48 difference to get a newer better laptop. I showed up the next day to collect it, to then be told I had to wait until some of the warehouse boys got back as they were aware of the paperwork and what needed to be done, none of the front counter staff were aware. Very unhappy with how this was handled and the constant waiting and no communication between members to supply a customer with their goods in a timely matter.

The customer service at the check out is absolutely disgraceful. I had a lady asked for my number to confirm the order. Then as I said it she says I mumbled it then didn’t even ask me to repeat it. Then she mumbles to a co worker he just mumbled it as I’m waking out the store. Considering I had been waiting 3 months for my product and spending a few thousand on iPad and other stuff. The least you could do is be a little bit more polite and be professional in your customer service. never going to this store again. I think Because they wear casual that it’s not meant to be a customer orientated service.

I’m normally not one to write reviews but would be unfair to let this pass considering the amazing service I had received earlier today, I been looking at getting new earphones outside my usual bought Jabra and the sales attendant Who I believe is Pegs (hope I got that right) was so Thorough in explaining in detail every question I had even giving professional suggestions based on my Queries, your knowledge in your products and the fact that you took time to explain it to me is much appreciated, your definitely be my go to person in my future purchases. The best service by sales except young girl at the check out counter. We went to by one S23 ended up buying two S23Ultra and Bose QC ultra earbuds we were very happy with sales girl. But when we reached the check out counter the cashier made us Feel like we are unwanted customers. She slandered the sales girl saying she didn't know what she was doing and then disparaged us to her manager right infront of us as tho we're not in her presence without any regard of our feelings. Her behaviour was very unprofessional in knowledge and inpresentation.

I recently purchased an iPhone and accessories from the Airport West store and was extremely happy with the service and advice given. I was served by Daniel who was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products and recommended the best products for my needs. He was professional yet friendly and approachable during my time in the store. Daniel is a definite asset to the store and would highly recommend dealing with him and I will return to the store for future purchases to deal with him even though it is not my closest JB store.

Absolutely thankful for the service offered me by the two staff at Airport West Westfield. Two girls by the same name. Was looked after quickly and efficiently without a grimace or an eye roll. The item in question was replaced but with a newer better model. Thank you for the extended warranty cover that was suggested to me on my initial purchase. Well worth the amount. Today I went into JB Hi-Fi to buy a new phone and I was served by Dylan and Rhys. They were super lovely and walked me through my choices and gave me advice on what to look for. I ended up with a Pixel 6A. Funnily enough they made me question what colour to choose? We had a good laugh. They also helped me with all of the little bits and pieces to go with it and I was set. Went in to return some headphones spoke to one of their younger guys told me they couldn’t return it cause it was my fault they broke Went up to the counter to purchase some new headphones I ask about returning my broken ones got told to speak to Bec their gaming and headphones person spoke to her explained what happened she went and spoke with her manager and came back said they could return and replace and she was amazing excellent service amazing 10/10 she was amazing

Just entered the other day to buy a pair of airpod pros. Staff are extremely helpful, and kind. I have never had an unpleasant experience here. They are always willing to help. Even when they were talking to someone else, the guy noticed me standing behind them and he was willing to take my question. The only downside is not taking afterpay or latitude, it would be absolutely awesome for them to implement it into their system. Other than that, amazing experience.

Not the largest of stores but a wide range of products none the less all crammed into the limited space. A great place for tech, dvds and music but know your pricing before you go in. The store is keen to match competitors pricing but not to lead the pack with low pricing. Current push to capture your mobile number so they can 'send a copy of the receipt' is a great way to build up their contact database but one I won't subscribe to.

I’ve had numerous pleasant experiences here. Doesn’t matter the size of the purchase the staff members are always looking to help. Bought a UHD TV the other day and the bloke was apologetic for the wait while he served someone else and then looked after us well. I came in today to get a screen protector and phone case and the girl that helped was very eager to assist. This is undoubtably the best JB hi fi in Melbourne. 10/10

Sold me a display lens without telling me it was a display lens, I travelled across town to collect so very frustrating. Didn't even offer a discount. Ridiculous. Also JBHIFI needs to standardise their Photo ID practices. I'm under 100,000,000 years old so obviously don't carry any physical cards on me and it has never been a problem to just show a photo of my ID. This is the first JBHIFI where it has caused an issue.

I purchased a Cygnet charging cable for my iPhone a few months ago. It started to intermittently not connect or lose connection. I took it back to JB today, the guy behind the counter plugged it into his phone and it worked. I tried explaining to him that it was an intermittent issue but he refused to listen and said if he couldn’t replicate the problem it was fine. Very disappointing, and I will not shop here again.

Went to JB hi-fi airport West to enquire about price adjustment policy, on a very recently bought product in-store. the lady staff who attended us was very unfriendly, not supportive and rude for no reason. The store manager was harsh as well, cutting us short. The same issue was resolved at JB hi-fi Broadmeadows without any dramas, within few minutes. Will never return to airport West again.

He's assisted me when choosing my new TV, laptop, sound bar, headphones and more, and I'm thrilled with all of them. Always happy with the good deals I find at this store. I have purchased many items here on multiple visits and always found the store welcoming and well stocked. Many different specials can be found week to week so a regular visit reveals bargins. I purchased a $700 360 camera here for less than $200. Good location in the centre of the shopping centre with plenty of parking.

Rude and arrogant staff. From the customer service girl that blamed “jb’s unreliable system” for not finding an item that showed up in stock that she couldn’t find. To the old check out lady who didn’t even try to make the situation better by brushing me off and tell me to go away. I’m seriously disappointed. This store should consider training their staff accordingly.

Came in in a quiet period, found it difficult to find staff to assist with my intended purchase. At one point, a staff member came over to an area with 3 groups of customers, including myself, offers the other 2 service, then conspicuously ignores me and goes elsewhere. Compared to the service you can get at other JB stores, this is a very poor comparison.

Walked in asked for a better deal on a marked $3995 LG TV the reply was that that was it. Very rude as we all know there’s a fair bit of room for them to move on a not discounted product. Any way they lost out I brought 2 of the same tv at good guys for $3600 each

These 3 clowns have just stood around joking and laughing the whole 10-15mins whilst I was in store! Obviously don’t want my money!! They were very loud all for a bit of chit chat at work but this was extreme!!!

Rude, condescending and patronising. The arrogance is unbelievable. I bought a $80 power bank, thinking I'll give them one more chance, and never again. I need to renovate my kitchen. So bad luck jb hi-fi.

Had an issue with my Fitbit Versa 3, Patrick was a very helpful staff member. Thoroughly explained warranty issue & refunded me for the watch that I then upgraded to a versa 4. Wonderful service Patrick!

Waste of time coming here. They say something is in stock then make you stand around for 10 mins then say nothing in stock. Ended up buying it from Amazon for cheaper. Brick and mortar stores are dead

Asked about a DVD, the shop assistant. checked to see if they had it turned out to be completely different Dvd, and singer. She asked me 5 times and l told each time that's not the singer and dvd.

Store manager on Saturdays lacks any type of customer service skills! Just lost a sale due to his inability to speak to customers or even slightly help resolve an issue for a click and collect!

Pretty new area, once things grow a bit more it will be lovely. The path is nice & wide with some good views of the steele creek valley. Joins up nicely to the lake estate area.

Ok pricing, but make sure you know what you want especially on big ticket items, as these sometimes may look like a bargain but overpriced.
