Fun, very Euro-styled hole-in-the-wall bar on Western Avenue below the market. Drinks were original and well-made and appetizers were reasonably priced and arrived quickly. A quibble: some of the "tins" are more oil than fish. Feels like a side street in Madrid (except for the waiter who looks like just came from the skate park.)
JarrBar is a little dim-lit bar hidden away in lower Pike Place. It sets itself apart with its food menu: imported cured meats and canned fish paired with cheeses, crackers, baguette and spreading sauces. Our waitress was a little out of it, struggling to understand us and forgetting an order. But the octopus was delicious.
Very cute, hole-in-the-wall vibes. Drinks are good, food was limited in option (I’d say if you don’t like cheese, tinned fish or charcuterie, there won’t be much else on the menu). Come here for a night cap before you head home. Perfect way to end the evening.
I wouldn’t write such a negative review but the bartender stuck her finger and picked something in her mouth then touched their POS screen and bar. We were waiting awhile trying to order a snack but changed our minds after seeing that…tried
Prepare to get cozy in this bustling but intimate bar off the main thoroughfare of Pike Place Market. Tinned fish plate (you choose your fish) not to be missed. Octopus and scallops in tomato sauce both a hit. Bartenders make excellent and
My experience yesterday was incredibly disappointing. My (white) friend and I sat at the bar, she was able to order a sparkling water but I sat there for 15 minutes with my id out while both waitresses didn’t even look my way. When you’re
Small space, small menu, big experience and atmosphere. Lots of delicious tinned fish options for food, cocktails, sherries, and vermouths for drinks. Of course that's the primary reason to come, but really the place feels like a secret
In my top 3 bars in Seattle maybe my #1 and I have lived here 10+ years. If you dig tin fish and good wine/cocktails you will love it. Don’t expect warm service but it’s Seattle and the bartender is definitely cooler than you ;) More
Fantastic little spot! Stopped by on a whim and received excellent and friendly service from the whole team, especially the bartenders Nicholas and Nicole. Cocktails were delicious and fairly priced and the charcuterie board was
What an absolutely cute spot! It’s cozy and quaint, but that’s part of its charm. They have great cocktails and a funky music vibe . Come to get away from the overly touristy/overly priced Pike Place energy.
Samantha the bartender was so darling we felt like we were having a chic, cozy but refined party at her little hole in the wall humble abode the beer and cider on tap was delicious and unique
Super cute spot nestled on the backside of Pike Place Market. This little hidden gem not only has some tasty cocktails, they have some interesting tapas as well. Huge fan of their pickles!
A good small bar to catch up with one or two friends. The whole place fits like 15 people uncomfortably. The biggest tables are for 2 but they can combine two tables and seat 4 .
Excellent rendition of the Spanish “tin and gin” tapas bar. Huge plus that they serve organic and gluten free -aka no soy-based fillers- seafood in cans! Great ambience!!!
Hidden gem was a little hard to find but well worth the experience. Ordered a tin of razor clams with crackers, and a bartenders choice for a drink for my first time.
A bar got it's own style even on food menu, drinks and environment all come together to create a great experience, daytime or night you will definitely comeback.
Ooof. My first visit here was very lovely, with attentive and kind staff and nice vibes right out of Spain. But my second visit here was almost comically bad…
The staff were doing their best, but the space was tiny, the music was too loud for conversation and the food was limited. More
Super cute and cozy place. Lovely snacks and the best olives I have had since visiting Morocco.
