After seeing many houses, and writing many offers, we are officially homeowners thanks to Jessica! She was a pleasure to work with and was always available when needed, even when on vacation! We found that we set our expectations far too high based on our budget and the market. It’s all or nothing and people with deep deep pockets are out in full force. As VA buyers, we felt like we couldn't compete with the conventional buyers. Jessica constantly looked outside the box to find us homes to look at, and personally spoke to our lender about what options were available to us to grant us some leverage to put in a competitive offer. (Doing this finally landed us into our home!) Although we got discouraged with the market (many times), Jessica always had a positive attitude and kept us going. And of course, she was right! We finally had an offer accepted, which we credit to the relationship Jessica built with the other agent. Our offer was initially rejected, but Jessica stayed positive and stayed in contact with the agent. The buyer backed out a week into closing, and the agent called to see if we were still interested! Our offer was accepted hours later! Jessica's tenacity and passion got us into our first home and we will be forever thankful!
