I purchased an $80+ Groupon only to have the bizarre experience of being denied an appointment. When I called to book, I was told 5 times they were full that day. And the next. I tried to explain, trying multiple approaches and verbiage, that I didn't want/need an immediate appointment, just needed to make one, LIKE, FOR WHENEVER THEY HAD AN OPENING since the Groupon was valid until AUGUST. That is how appointments work. The lady told me again that I just didn't understand, that they were full that day--and there were a lot of people with groupons anyway. That I needed to call another time and see if they had an opening the following day, until one was open. ?What? If you don't want to accommodate Groupon customers, don't sell Groupons! Which is what I reported to Groupon CS when I requested my refund. It was literally trying to reason with an insane person. It ended with me finally conceding and saying I don't think this will work out, I will contact Groupon, and they hung up on me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Well done JoJo's.

I visited this salon for the first time yesterday; I had an appointment with Kaitlyn. I cannot say enough good things about the both of them. The salon was conveniently located and I loved how clean it was. They were very good about wearing face shields and cleaning high touch surface areas which is important these days with Covid-19. My favorite though is Kaitlyn! After months of washing my hair daily and not doing anything with it I was in desperate need of some self care and help. She is amazing! I went in with drab, grown out no shape, dry hair and left with colorful, shiny, gorgeous hair. From the moment she started I felt such happiness in my soul because I knew she would make it all better and boy did she. Lol I look forward to many more appointments with her at this great salon.

Went there with a Groupon for hair cut, there was a man who was cleaning the hair from the floor he said he will be with me. Got uncomfortable because he didn't wash his hands. He was super quite had no suggestions I was a bit afraid of him. He only took less than 5 mins for the hair cut and while doing it he kept his nose free from the mask and was breathing heavily. I was super uncomfortable but could not say anything. When he was finished there were some long hair sticking out I asked him to do it right which he did but I am not sure about the back of my head of the haircut is neat or not. While blow drying he actually burnt my scalp that was the only time I could scream and said him to reduce the heat.. Not going again.

I've been a long time customer of Jonathan..he really knows what I like and does a great job time after time I'm very particular especially since I have long hair to my waist...also got my husband Mario to go for his hair cuts , he is very picky and now he will not allow anyone but Jonathan to do his hair ...we followed him to JoJo's and I met Joanne ..she is a very nice courteous professional lady and knowledgeable in her profession... every one has been nice and helpful it feels like your at home ...I love it when I go there and get not only pampered but great service...welcome new comers you can't go wrong at JoJo's it's the IN place to go in San Antonio...Linda Amaro 3 yr customer.

I highly recommend this salon to all my friends and family or anyone looking for great service and fabulous hair styles… I was in need of a haircut ASAP and called JOJO's and was able to be seen as a walk in within 15 minutes… Elma is the stylist who I was introduced to and I showed her a picture of exactly what I was wanting… She was very confident about this haircut and stated she can do it… 30 min later I had the perfect cut and it was exactly the look I wanted… Thank you for the awesome service and being an awesome stylist… A new customer you have gained… Love it!!! Everyone in the salon was polite from beginning to end… 5 stars…

OMG!!! Why haven’t I found this place sooner?!! I found JoJo’s on the Groupon site and took advantage of the deal that they had going on! Daisy greeted me as soon as I walked in and immediately got started on my hair. She turned my funky hair into a wonderful, edgy look. She was very precise and did my hair exactly how I wanted it. I went to JoJo's Beauty Salon and was impressed. I was visiting from out of town and decided to pick a salon near me with good reviews. It showed Jojo hair salon and Elma with great reviews. The reviews did not disappoint. Elma was extremely nice, professional and her work did not disappoint. She knew exactly what I wanted and delivered. I just want to thank you Elma for making me feel comfortable and for making me feel alive again! Will definitely visit this location next time I am in town again!

Jo jo,did my high lights,I'm a dark brown,and she did a full high light,and the color came out great.She really listened to me.Im going on the journey to Grey hair,so it's a slow process,and I don't want hair damage. I'm also a hair stylist, and she gave me a great discount, from one stylist to another, we need to help each other out.I will return in about 5 months, to continue the process. My experience with this salon was nothing but a blessing when i met Elma. She understood the mission at hand and completely blew my mind with the outcome. She was able to correct the disaster of highlights i received and gave me the highlights i wanted. The first two are the disaster and the last one is the correction.

Daisy is real good at what she does she did a awesome job with me and my daughter hair I like that she takes her time with you all you have to do is show her a picture of what you want and she does it just like you ask I’m truly glad I found this place saves me from driving all the way to Converse to get my hair cut

Just had my first appointment here and loved every bit of my experience with Danny. I was looking for a change for my hair something I have never tried before. Danny listened to me and made me feel comfortable. The service was great, and I absolutely love how my hair turned out. This place is a hidden gem!!

Joann cut,colored,and styked my hair. I had tried many other hairstylist before but no one could style my hair like I wanted it before Joann. Now I get compliments on it everywhere I go. I even hand out JoJo cards to people who ask who does my hair. Try JoJo,s Ang you will be happy you did.

Been with Jo since she began cutting my hair in high school. Everywhere she's gone I've followed. Trust her with my hair completely and literally whatever cut she thinks I should try I always get compliments on. Great customer service and always a great person to interact with. None better!

(7/13/23 Not sure why my previous review was removed but I'll post it again) Last time I came here the stylist (Daisy iirc) refused to give me the cut I asked for because it didn't "suit my face". I didn't have this problem with previous visits bit once was more than enough for me.

Elba was great to work with. she really listened to what I wanted and came through with flying colors.. I think she even surprised herself with the outcome. I was very pleased and look 20 years younger or so I was told by my son AN DIL later that day. Great work Elba.

Walked in there just now and there was a heavy set girl that didn't even wanna do my hair because she had an appointment which is I understand because I walked in. Her face show is what pissed me off! Don't ever go there!!!! #jojoainttheplace

JoAnn has been taking care of my hair for over 10 years! I trust her opinion and very happy with her work. I've referred several of my friends to her over the years that continue to be on her client list as well.

Jojo didn't listen to what I wanted. I told her I wanted the layers to be even all over. Left shop having to go somewhere else for them to fix. And I paid for a style and she just dried it! I will never go back.
