Somewhat newly renovated park with all different facilities. They have a huge playground and skate park area and also a large area for picnics and barbecues. They also have a huge dog park, one for big dogs and one for small dogs. Both are great and I have never seen so many dogs interacting with each other Heaps of parking too. Great to spend the day with your family or to just relax with your dog or even alone!
Dog-friendliness
Great for dogs. There are paths to walk your dog outside, as well as the interior dog off leash area. They are all fenced and there are big areas with small bridges and large grassy areas.

Plenty of swings and play equipment. The safari theme adds to the uniqueness.
Restrooms
Out of order for maintenance at the moment but site has toilets.
Dog-friendliness
Separate play area for dogs.
Picnic area
Great place to have family picnic. Shaded areas.

John Wearn park has just gone under a massive renovation with new natural playground looking like a zoo, a big slides, spider web climb, a bamboo tunnel, a big slide, ride on fake animals with sound, 2 fenced grass field for small and big dogs, BBQ under roof, skate and bike rides plateform, an Ampitheatre, a basketball court, car parks and street parking, new toilets...Well done those involved in the project. It's a magic place for my kids and every kid. A great place for family with kids at all ages.

Swings, climbing frame, fort with BIG slide, amphitheatre, toilets (which were clean!!!), lots of shade, lots of grass, good bike/scooter track (has hills so only for older kids on scooters), skate park with full bowl, outdoor gym, fenced dog park, ample undercover areas, gas BBQs, African safari animals, tunnel, drums, basktball court, free parking! My kids loved the park! The animal statues make noise which intrigued my kids and the slide had little hut underneath it which was a great shelter for kids. Tunnel made of branches and sticks were great fun too. Had two great BBQ area that could probably accommodate large group of people. Definitely a spot for family gathering!! Definitely our new playground from now on!

A great park with a very recent fit out, 2 BBQ areas with electric cooktops, new bathrooms, lots of play equipment, a large skate park with bowls, rails and stairs. Also has two off-leash dog areas segregated by a fence (from each other and children outside), parking on two sides and also some plastic model animals to sit on.

What an adorable park! Love the African theme with plenty of animals to climb and take photos with. Love the bamboo tunnel. Open grass space, toilets, dog park, basketball hoop. BBQ and tables available. See parksandadventuresofsydney on Instagram for more.

This park is small but plenty of options for kids to play. It has animals statues as well, there are few statues like lion and giraffe yet to come which they mentioned on notice board. There is dedicated dog park as well so that you can take your dogs.

Pram friendly, toddler friendly, well maintained and equipped park for all ages. Includes dog parks, equipment area, safari animals (plastic), skateboard Park, basketball courts, outdoor gym, amphitheatre and barbecue areas.

All taps have been removed in this park. Including taps in wash basins. No access to any water for dogs or human. Do not visit here unless you bring your own big bottles of water for your dog and yourself. Very disappointed.

  • Percy

There are two separated and fenced area for dogs, one for smaller dogs and another for larger dogs. Much better than other dog parks, especially for smaller dogs. Drinking facility also available for dogs and their owners.

  • Katy Mills

Great dog park, small section for smaller pups and two ' seperate' sections for bigger dogs. Has shade and taps- but no handles on taps so you need to bring your own water or tap key. Next to playground and skate park.

  • Crazy Luke. Lee

Well organized park. Main park in the middle with 3 layer. 1th layer for toddler second is basketball court and footsal field. And last one is skateboard area. Big size of dog park is next to it. Awesome …

Lovely park with skate park, playground, bbq areas and 2 separated off leash areas. Would def recommend to stop here for your puppy to play around. Very safe and nice

  • Tim Dykes

Play ground up the top is a little boring. The single slide was steep and the little kids couldn't climb up to it. Otherwise clean and tidy. Skate park was great.

  • Wai yee Wong

I love this park! Its not just nice, but also safe with great protection shade sail. The small skate/ scooter park areas is an added bonus. Highly recommended!!!
