"My partner came back home with croissant, chocolate croissant and and other cake from this place"
"Pros: super friendly staff, great pricing and amazingly fresh/crisp salad elements Cons: the ‘crackling pork’ felt like it had been chopped up the day before, left in fridge and then sitting all day dehydrating under a heat lamp"
"GREAT FOOD BAD ATTITUDE"
"The person at the store called me stupid because I wanted to insert my bank card myself into the machine"
"I bought 2 different types of Vietnamese rolls, they are a decent size and value"
My partner came back home with croissant, chocolate croissant and and other cake from this place. Horrible taste of vegetable oil , these pastries are supposed to be made with butter. The texture very chewy, not crispy on top as supposed to. My guts have been sick for two days after eating them. And cherry on the cake, it exactly happened before and we wanted to give an other chance. Was definitely the last. And please, change your name « French bakery » this is an insult.
Pros: super friendly staff, great pricing and amazingly fresh/crisp salad elements Cons: the ‘crackling pork’ felt like it had been chopped up the day before, left in fridge and then sitting all day dehydrating under a heat lamp. Chewy, dry and pretty much tasted like that bit of a soft chewy rib that you are never quite be sure if it’s now bone material or meat that you are chewing on when you get to it. I’m sure on other days it’s great though.
GREAT FOOD BAD ATTITUDE....... The old lady that works there is so rude. Yells and swears at at English people in Chinese that I can understand and always serves Chinese people before English people. And gets my order wrong everytime just to charge me more money. She is so racists. Either that or she just hates me cause I am transgender.
The person at the store called me stupid because I wanted to insert my bank card myself into the machine. Bad attitude. Boycott this store. There are other friendly bakeries and cafes in Hornsby. No wonder there are so many 1 star for this store and only 3.1 overall score. Very poor
I bought 2 different types of Vietnamese rolls, they are a decent size and value. Only complaint was that meat was a little dry. I also bought a loaf of bread and when I got home I realised it had mould spots all over it (reason for my 1 star review)
I’ve been to this bakery a few times and if you prefer your sausage rolls and pork rolls dry, cold and tasting like the day befores then this is the place for you. They also struggle to warm up any food that you request so id suggest to go elsewhere.
Only good for bakery items I would say. The desserts/ bakery items are quite nice. Coffee and the Vietnamese rolls are not that great and just so so.. Rolls and much better in the shop next door and for coffee there are much better options around.
Small bakery near the station entrance, desserts were nice but the lady working there was not very friendly. Ordered the custard tart which was $3.50, tasted very soft and smooth, and the Oreo ball was $2, which was a bit overpriced.
The best sausage rolls ever!!!!! Friendly staff that are willing to show a smile and provide good servicing, will continue to go here for as long as I can.
