This salon was recommended to me by two friends , and after hearing all the positive reviews I decided to check it out myself. Wish I’d gone somewhere else. I came in with blonde already in my hair , and made it very clear to the stylist that I wanted to go more blonde for the summer , in which she enthusiastically said was possible and that whatever blonde I had in my hair at the moment would be more blonde, and that she’d add more pieces . Left the salon with brown hair instead, my hair felt like straw (stylist couldn’t blow dry to save her life). When I contacted the salon I was told that its a process to go blonde, to which I explained I understood but it just doesn’t make sense to go in with blonde already in my hair and leave with brown hair. The salon said I could come in for more highlights , to which I explained that it made no sense for me to come in and pay more money only to be disappointed once again. I’m sure other people have had a positive experience here, I was just not one of them.

After several failed attempts to find a good stylist and salon in Ottawa, I'd lost all hope on getting the cuts and colours I would go in asking for. But then I met Kat. Her skill and expertise make her a quick and efficient stylist. She has so much vision, and is able to improvise to create tailored solutions to meet her customers exact needs and wants. Every cut and colour she's given me is a home run, and she's always flexible, honest and willing to work with me to get me the hair of my dreams. I cannot say enough about this salon! Walked in four weeks ago for a cut and highlights and I could not be more pleased! Shannon sure knows her stuff! I have been coming to this salon since it opened and have no intention of ever going anywhere else! All the girls are super knowledgeable, professional, yet FUN! I personally get my hair done by Katrina and she always hits it out of the park. I have blonde balayage and it blends sooo seamlessly. Best part is that it looks so new for so long. Literally months after getting my hair done I get asked if I just got it done again! Overall just the best place ever. Great coffee too and special mention to Kyra who keeps all appointments and everything else organized (& makes my coffee lol).

This was my first time coming to this salon and it will definitely not be my last. As soon as you walk in the vibe is so nice and professional. I had Shannon and I am so glad I was able to have her as my stylist/hair dresser. She absolutely killed it and especially with what kind of hair I walked in with. Shannon explained her whole process of what she was doing and really created my vision. This was an experience I have never had before from previous hair dressers and I am glad to say that I have found my new hairdresser!

I have had keratin treatments at K HAIR LOUNGE, to smooth the frizz out of my hair when I finally need those (maybe once a year)...let me just say that this salon is awesome, and doesn't disappoint! They deserve all of the five-star reviews!!! Also, their particular keratin treatments don't take as long as some other salons, and last just as long!!! Just remember to book a few weeks ahead. As a bonus, they are close to where I live in Bell Corners, and the parking isn't as bad as in other locations!!!

I have had my hair done by all the girls here, and they all do phenomenal work! They keep up to date with all the current trends and techniques, and are extremely knowledgeable about what colours and cuts work best for different hair types. They carry only the best product lines, and have always been able to recommend the perfect products for me. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating, and they make the best iced coffees! You are treated like family at this salon. I have followed Katarina and Frank for 5 years and will follow them wherever they go! It is such a fun relaxed atmosphere and their clients get treated like royalty. My first time there, booked an appointment with Katerina based on reviews I read. She sat down with me first and asked what I was looking for, and checked my hair condition etc. She made suggestions based on that, and that's what we went with (from long hair to shoulder length with layers). Was very pleased with the result and will return.
