Well, I should say, I tried to use their services. I booked my appointment on a Saturday, 2 weeks before, because I was going on a business trip the following week. I decided to finally spend the most for the best. I got a confirmation call, the morning before, to confirm my appointment. As I was arriving in the parking lot, I received a call from them. I did not answer because I was driving but I walked in less then 5 minutes later only to find out that my appointment was canceled because the hair stylist that they had assigned me to was ´not feeling well’ and was not coming in. Disappointed, and irritated by the offer they made me, which was a haircut two hours later, I walked out. On my way out I noticed a sign stating that a service charge would be applied to any cancellations less than 24 hours noticed!!! Say what?!? What did I get? I got some young lady apologizing for the incompetence of the staff. Turns out, after a couple of phone calls, I found a salon walking distance away, that could take me in less than 30 minutes. The stylist did such an amazing job, at the fraction of the price I am sue, that I tipped double what I had planned to tip the one a Rinaldo ´s. I understand that we don’t feel well from time to time, but unless you have COVID, you go to work, especially after such a lengthy lock down! It’s obvious that they didn’t need my business. Lesson learned!

Honestly if I could put no stars I would. I have been going here consistently for hair cuts and it has been decent, ridiculously expensive for a trim (53$), but decent. I went tonight and I have never been more upset in my life. I specifically asked her for a trim and she proceeded to give me layers and a completely new style. I wanted A TRIM (no more than like an inch off) and I find it extremely disrespectful that I am paying so much for a simple service and the stylist decided to take it upon herself to not listen and do what she wanted. I am never going back and I will be expecting a full refund. Also I have never written a review before but I felt very obligated to share with everyone what happened.

I just had a pedicure at Rinaldo's and will never go back there again for such services. The pedicure chairs were broken and I was told they have been this way for over 3 years. My back was sore by the end of my pedicure. On top of that the lighting in the hallway was out, and it was difficult to see their (very limited) polish colours. As well, one staff member was speaking on the phone in the back hall, she was so loud my aesthetician had to ask her to keep her voice down. Not at all the relaxing experience I was hoping for. When paying, I realized they charged me $17 to remove my shellac nail polish, that is ridiculous. All this being said, I do go there for my hair and I love my stylist.

Go in for a simple buzz around the side/back and trim on top and left with barley any eyebrows... if I did not tell to hair dresser to stop cutting I would have been bald. No idea how she turned the agreed upon length into a crew cut. I told her I wanted a little .. "LITTLE" bit off the top and I was left with half an inch on top... worst part is she tried telling me no no it looks good, don't care, it's not what I wanted. Also she started thining my hair without asking. So frustrating when I was going for a look this weekend now I have to live with looking like a cop. So boring and bland, I hate it!

Had a great experience with Karly and will confidently go back for her talent again. Attentive to my request and was delightfully personable, I am quite pleased w my colour from brown to dirty blonde. I returned in October for a trim and was treated by Annslea. She gave me a great cut that has been so easy for both high and low maintenance. I've received so many compliments on my hair. Annslea also recommended a new shampoo/condition for my colour treated hair and I will never, ever go back to using off the shelf brands. My hair is healthy, I am happy and I feel stunning.

Very talented staff, I know whoever I have do my hair there will make me smile. The owner is a sweetheart. All the ladies have done wonders for my thin, uncooperative hair. I have been to almost all the trendy new salons downtown and in the Glebe and Westboro once, and this little glam shop tucked into the mall is amazing. They always make you feel valued, even though I'm a student customer who comes once every 5 months instead of the lady who gets her highlights done every 2 weeks. Overall, my best hair experience ever, and worth every penny.

I've had Jean as my stylist for over 10yrs. He always greats me with a smile. The staff are friendly the service amazing. I would never think of going elsewhere. I have short hair and Jean spends about an hour cutting and a few minutes styling. A good stylist takes longer to cut but shorter time to style. It always looks amazing. Amazing service and they did and amazing job I love my hair but, the price did not match up with what it says online. It cost $100 more then it's should of I was very shocked and not happy about that. I was embarrassed because I had enough money for what it said online plus a nice tip but because it cost more I had to get a friend to send money and wasn't able to tip. Online says $150 for full highlight and $55 for a cut but it cost over $310

I was going to Rinaldo's when it first opened about 18 years ago. I started going to see Jean(John) from the day it opened. Now the name has changed to Saco and I'm still going there and still have Jean(John) doing my hair. He so good and knows exactly what to do and I've never been disappointed. To me he is the best and I go every week because if I don't I feel guilty. I look forward going to Saco it is a very friendly and clean place.

I have been seeing Maryam for awhile now. Maryam is the best she makes sure that my cut and colour are exactly the way I like it. I recently had a cezanne hair treatment. Best thing I ever decided to do for my hair. There is no more frizz and it feels really good. When I do blow dry my hair it takes about half the time it used to. I would have cezanne hair treatment again. Thanks again Maryam you are the best!!

Amy is a gem. Friendly, knowledgeable and a true professional. From the luxurious scalp massage, to the fun conversation and suggestions for the trim that made me feel like a movie star I look forward to going back. A beautiful, well oppointed entrance space, and a bubbly front of house staff this is my new recommendation for a hair salon! I plan to try other services next time.

I’ve been going to Rinaldo’s at Carlingwood for what seems like forever, with Jean (the owner) cutting my hair. Probably 12+ years. I’m always happy with my cut and blow dry and the service I receive. My colourist has been Lisa for the past few years, she’s lovely and also does an awesome job. I am NEVER disappointed in the service I receive, which is why I keep coming back!

I have been going to see Maryam for a few years now and she is amazing! She puts a lot of effort into making sure she is cutting and colouring my hair the way I want it. I had a very good experience! Lisa is wonderful always chooses the best colour for my hair! Fariba decided to jazz up my hair by curling it! The shampoo girl was average as I have habetter scalp massages by other girls in the past! I have been going there for over 15 years now! All in all it was a great day at the salon!
