This store is really bad, was so happy when we heard a KFC was opening in Gordon's Bay but I have not had a good experience since they opened. On Monday we went to the store, the drive through was closed as per usual, went inside and was such a long queue as we stood in the doorway. No sign to say the Ice cream machine is not working so some people stood in a queue for about 15 - 20 minutes to be told our machine is not working. One cashier 3 people packing orders which was unnecessary as orders was coming through so slow, they just stood around. After standing in the queue for 20 minutes I was told, I could not get my order as they ran out of coleslaw, to which I demanded a replacement after a few minutes the cashier agreed to small chips. As I turned around the queue line was outside the store already and the managers on duty just walks by into the kitchen not bothered by what's happening, just laughing as she engages in a conversation with her colleague. Service at that store is non existing and you don't even expect a lot but even the basic they just can't get right.

Bizarre and weird experience. They have an advert for "Wrap Meals" by the drive-through. So we asked for a wrap meal and the teller says to us, "You want a Twister Meal?". We said no and insisted that we want a Wrap Meal according to the advert, then he laughed and told us to go drive back and see that the advert only has a Twister. We tell him the advert is for "Wrap Meals" and there's a picture of a wrap. He says we must drive back and see it's a twister. Drive back?? In a drive-through?? We insisted that we want to order a Wrap Meal and he said there's only a Wrapsta Meal. So we say yes, sure, whatever, as long as there's a WRAP. Finally. He allows us to get a Wrap Meal. Very strange experience. The food smells REALLY bad. So unappetizing. I fed my piece of chicken to my cat. Maybe I should apologize to my cat.

Terrible experience. Drive-Thru apparently closed (There were bricks put in the way) @ 19:23, Security told us the speaker was broken, bear in mind there were about 6 cars in the drive-thru queue and we could hear the speaker. So reluctantly we went in. Ordered 1 x Fully Loaded Box meal, they loaded a loose colonel burger by mistake (She started typing before fully listening) promised to remove. After we pay she checks the slip and realizes the loose burger was still on. She didn't know what to do or say. I wanted A zinger box meal ended up getting a zinger meal burger + chips. They also didn't have mash. Food was okay. Zinger burger not fresh. Colonel burger was nice.

Absolutely shocking!!! Staff uses the infrastructure as excuses but they can't communicate when making the order?! 50 minutes later they tell us that they don't have certain stuff and eventually after an hour and forcing them, we got our refund back!! Will never refer someone to this specific franchise as they are climbing on the border of total incompetence. That one has to go through an experience like this, where it's staffed by between 10-12 people is absolutely shocking. If I could give halve or no star I would!!!!

Terrible ! The staff is completely useless. I place a order . And the woman doesnt tell me no they dont do it on their menu . Then places her own order . I get home the families chicken bucket is there and no meal. That i ordered. Chips completely soft and soggy . Disgusting . As if they were made the morning and warmed the night. GROSS !!! And then they have a complete attitude when I went back . I will never go to KFC gordons bay . Management is terrible ! Id love to give them a 0 star !!! Anyone reading this stat far away !!!

Weird experience. I bought some food, went to buy a cold drink at the shop opposite the road and when I came back a guy's thumb tip was cut off cleanly at the drive thru window. Shop was closed as this guy was standing in front with a 1/4 of his thumb in one hand and blood spilling from his other hand. So I was standing there outside as a customer waiting for the manager to assist the situation. Once in a life time event I geuss. Food was good though!

Very very bad experience ,i went there on the 29/08 @ 20:30 after waiting for 20 minutes in drive through i placed my order, the lady already started giving me attitude saying i cant choose which chicken i want , after taking my order with attitude i waited to get to the next window another 5 minutes to pay my order, when i got there i was advised there's no chicken, i dont understand why she couldn't tell me in the first place. This is very poor service coz my time was wasted will never go to Gordon's bay kfc again.

Firstly, I love the service they are absolutely great. The self service is also very convenient. Secondly, why I rated the food less is because I do not eat their food but I find they are less oily that other KfC's which is awesome for my kids. Lastly, the atmosphere is good but when it is busy there is just not enough space for everyone. But I can understand it is a smaller KfC. Regardless, I would recommend them to anybody before any other KfC's I have tried for my kids sake.

When using the drive-thru it’s been a good experience, BUT when ordering over the counter, it has been a total disaster: with 5 staff members behind the counter, as they ran out of Coke on tap & had to open 2L bottles, dropped chips, got an order wrong & someone grabbed a packet of nuggets that wasn’t theirs & made it out the door before any of the staff noticed. Wrapping paper were were all over the floor & on the counter. Absolutely a bad day for the KFC staff, that weren’t trained to work under pressure.

Waiting over 30 minutes for a Colonel burger and a regular mash and gravy ( no coleslaw available) is not acceptable for a “ fast food” outlet. Not to mention that the burger had a very, very small piece of chicken and was COLD!!!! Staff attitude was “ whatever” It will be a bit of a drive to another KFC but I won’t be back to Gordon’s BaY KFC. HORRIBLE food, service and attitude

Pathetic. Operating hours till 9h00pm, but when i order at 8h30pn, they cannot give me what I want because they are busy cleaning cause they are closing at 9h00. Very dissapointed . Baught a Streetwise 3 with chips tonight. Chips and 1 piece of chicken cold. 2 warm drumsticks so salty, can hardly eat it. A friend told me the other night her snack burger's pattie was raw. They should step up their game.

After ordering a zinger box master where the chicken was ice cold, I went back to let the people know, where I waited for a new box master to where they had given me an original box master which was sent back to the kitchen a 2nd time and

Very disappointed in the zinger wings we bought via the drive through. The wings were dry,tasted old and "sandy". It was our first and last time at the Gbay Kfc; we would rather use the one in Strand even though it's a distance.
