"This shop must be SHUTDOWN!!!, especially the meat section"
"I would put a -100 point rating if possible"
"Bangladeshi owned - the butchers are not tafe certified for sure and immigration status in doubt"
"I have been buying most of groceries since 2015 and it’s Minto branch"
"There was a lady with glasses on counter, Omg so rude, as if I am getting items for free"
This shop must be SHUTDOWN!!!, especially the meat section. They are selling rotten meat and have no hygiene standards. Clearly, they have no regards to the customer health and wellbeing. $$$ is everything what matters to them. So today I went to purchase some meat. There were two guys at the counter. As soon as I asked for a specific meat, one of them said we don’t have and the other said yes, we have, back in the cool room. It was very unusual of them having contradicting answers and it triggered something in my mind why would they not know. Well, I thought I am over thinking, and I asked them to pack 1.5kg meat. The guy went inside the cool room, bought the meat in a bag and packed it up, I paid and drove back home. As soon as I opened the meat bag at home, YUKHHHHHH, I almost puked due to the odor of the meat. The smell was utterly disgusting, and the meat color was dark BROWN, no where near that was fresh. I swear, you don’t even want to feed this to animals and apparently this meat is being sold to the community. I drove back and retuned the meat and also spoke to the guy who packed it and he was nowhere near to be ashamed of what he has done. Rather, he had some dumb excuses and arguments. A typical behavior of the community to which I belong too. I have been shopping from KAZI’s since the past 4 years. I usually go to their MINTO shop, but since I now live close to Glenfield, this store is more convenient for me. But from now onwards, NO WAY! Never ever in my life I will visit KAZI’s supermarket and I would strongly recommend to all of you, don’t let them just pack the meat and put a price barcode (their usual practice). Instead, take the bag form them, check it, smell it, and satisfy yourself (This is your basic right being a consumer). Because, this meat will later get consumed by you and your loved ones!
I would put a -100 point rating if possible. I went in the morning just to buy some biscuits that my son likes from this shop (which I don't buy often cause it gives me the feeling that all this package food is way full of unhealthy stuff that the ones you from local brands) my bill was around $5 and I couldn't remember if they had a minimum for EFTPOS (as I've had come before and pay cash and card). So when I wanted to pay by card the bold guy with a mustache started very rudely saying "it's minimum $10 for card your buy is ONLY $5" so I suggested him that would be good to put a sign as I couldn't see any around and he started to abused me so badly saying that is "common sense, our costumers know (so I was a bad costumer for not remembering) this is not wollies or Coles" (but this shop isn't small either!) My baby daughter was on my arms and she drop some stuff and he didn't even stopped me to pick it up or thanked me for that, I had the pram full of stuff. Please don't go! This man would not be kind to a woman with a baby in arms but he was with the Indian (as he is) man in a suit who bought $18. I felt that just because I am a woman (not just a $5 bill) I did not deserve the kindness, good manners or just respect from this man. Don't go!
Bangladeshi owned - the butchers are not tafe certified for sure and immigration status in doubt. The "3 size 10 chicken for $19.50" is false advertisement for sure since the chickens are size 8 max. Reported the authority. There are 2 meat cutting saw machine and one had a sign "No beef to cut in this saw" but whatever Beef, lamb or goeat meat you take is cut in the same saw! Why to fake religious respect. Quality and cut is a hit and miss and sometimes it depends on the customer rapport! I am going there for the past 2 yrs but gave up today when they didn't chopped the chicken properly and the meryland pieces were all sticking together. Some people are far from trying to be professional for the paid service! Sweet talkers though@
I have been buying most of groceries since 2015 and it’s Minto branch.. but my today’s trip was outrageous when they are selling 5kg bag of rice for $27. I refused to buy it.. this is a reminder that you are not in third world country.. I m going to take this matter to Fair trading.. I have photos to prove.. what an ultimate ripoff.. Annoying part is people still paying for it.. say no to price rigging .. show some mercy and compassion when we all need it
There was a lady with glasses on counter, Omg so rude, as if I am getting items for free. Today i went to buy some items worth $ 4, but she told me I need to buy of $10 to use the card, I was happy to pay surcharge, but that rude lady just rejected. And told me to purchase other items as well. In this covid situation no one carries cash. This way you going lose loyal customers
A Real Life Experience : Broke 2 ginger paste bottles accidentally, the guy told me to clean & also paid for the bottle which the guy didn’t even register in the registrar. Funny, huh?!!! Should it deserve even a star?!!! Btw, my whole family went there more than a year, they never respect a customer. However we go there for the love of our deshi food, but it’s a dealbreaker.
The bald guy is the owner . He will stand and do nothing even when he sees a line of customers with 1 staff attending. Secondly I noticed a male staff having a band aid with blood and he uses that same infected hand to pick somosas and microwave. U can only imagine the level of hygiene. I stopped going to them.the place stinks and dirty
Alert!!! This shop don’t even deserve a 1 star. Workplace conditions should be notified. Worst Bangladeshi shop probably in Australia. They don’t have any manners, bad customer service & very rude people. Overpriced items, they sell sometimes expired item too, be alert. My family & friends will avoid it from now on completely.
Although this shop has a variety of products, I'm not happy with the customer service. I've come across several staff members during my visits and each one looks grumpier than the next. The shop has a weird smell too. As for the meat section, I usually get mutton and beef and haven't been disappointed with that part yet.
Awful customer service! Flies all over the meat area, look at that long hanging white electric cord, it’s black due to the flies, the chopping board they use look as if it has been there for millions of years! Display fridge they changed recently, food safety authorities should have been there lately I think!
Unfriendly people (meat section). Bought 2 kg beef curry meat, found 1.2 kg bones. Asked the butcher about it and he replied it's bad luck for me. Few more occurrences like this. Have to go there because 1 minute drive from my home. Competitive price compared to the neighboring stores of the same type …
Kazi supermarket in Glenfield is located just next to Glenfield train station. They have Indian and Bangladeshi grocery, frozen fish and snacks and Halal meat section. They have good selection of products but a bit pricey. Meats are good quality and fresh. There are some parking in the back of the shop.
Very nice place with lots of food variety. They have their own small butchery in the supermarket itself. Also, they stock a lot of savoury snacks of Haldiram's at competitive prices. They also sell freshly made Biryani which tastes pretty good. Portion size is sufficient for 1 person. Good place!
One of the best authentic Bangladeshi grocery shops in this area. Huge collection of local and imported products. Fresh Bangladeshi fish and crops are part of their great range of product range. Keep an eye on their pricing and scanning at checkout. It's a Bangladeshi owned shop after all! …
Not showing respect to customer .they did mistake but they don't feel sorry about it.so rude and poor cutomer service.Never ever recommend to go their.i pressed star mark xos its was not allowing me to post my opinion. Otherwise they are not deserve any star mark.
the shop has a very foul smell. stinks like rotten meat all the time. i almost threw up the last time i was there. i doubt if they clean their butcher section properly. they process red meat and chicken together. overly priced and no customer service at all.
Cleanliness is the biggest challenge of any south East Asian grocery store. Great work there, managing this challenge. Another STAR for good maintenance of price tags. Last but not least product quality is much better than many other Bangladeshi shops.
Most of the time they just dont have meat items and theybare never willing to make on spot. There is never a single time when they had all meat items. One day they will not have mince, the other day they will not have fillet and so on. And
Worst experience .we bought meat from them when i bring it home and open the bag it was barely meat in there it was full of bones and worst customer service i will never go back there .They know that people have not much to buy
The girl in front is really rude to be there.I have been there 3 times and she always makes long face and does not even bother to say welcome leave thank you behind.I would prob give plus to the customer if there was a option.
Always a joy to visit Kazi’s Supermarket. You’ll find many South Asian and Bangladeshi-specific groceries, including snacks, fish, meat, dairy, and other products. Great prices and deals, on top of having friendly service! :)
Massive range of BD products. Customer service needs to be improved.... a lot. Higher price charged for few items, for no reason. As competitors coming into game, they will be more professional i believe.
You can get a good selection of deshi items. In comparison to other stores, some of the prices seem a little bit expensive sometimes. However, the store is reasonably clean, and good customer service.
The goat meat is amazing , requested for goat leg and cut into small pieces , without hesitation was served . Nice and fresh quality meat . Travelled from Catherinefield was a worthwhile driving .
Kazi is my day to day place, pretty much get everything for Pakistani food. Halal meat is also at a reasonable price. Staff is friendly. They need to improve the ambience of the place.
Excellent range of spices , rice , Bangladesh frozen fish , other seafood and a well-stocked butcher with Halal lamb , goat , beef and poultry , all at competitive pricing.
Great collection of subcontinental groceries. The meat sold here is cheap and of great quality. Most groceries are reasonably priced and slightly cheaper than anywhere else.
Great place for Grocery shopping especially for Bangladeshi products. Glad to see Goldmark Biscuits ranges as those are best in quality compare to any other brands
Good stock of Bangladeshi fish, meat, spice and grocery at competitive price. Has a loyalty card programme which can be encashed at your next shopping.
Good place for Bangladeshi groceries and halal meat. More stock compared to other stores. Some goods are a dearer, but the conveniences pay it off.
Very good customer service specially from 'awais' in meat department. Price is comparatively same as in lakemba. Always found items in stock.
I love this shop, good place for buying bengali groceries and halal products like meat and frozen fish and vegetables, dried fish Aka shutki.
Customer at the counter was good. Meat wasn't as fresh as expected. Price of other items are not competitive from other neighbouring suburbs.
Meat smells bad and to much bones as I ordered goat meat curry pieces. So much bones very less meat. Ripped off to pricey. Unhygienic too
Very poor quality meat. Had bad experience 2 times in a row. I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy beef, lamb or goat from there.
Great store for Halal meat..their Beef curry meat is always very good. U can find pakistani, indian bangladeshi stuff easily
If you are into Bangla food its the best shop to visit, like some of my mates like dal puri pani puri and of course spices
it is a beautiful shop, which provides everything. Great butcher and customer service! I shop here all the time.

Great service, fresh and variety of products. Nice and polite staff. Reasonable price.
