The FOB on my key for my Toyota Camry broke. The encasement that holds the key and has control buttons for the alarm, etc. The key also came off the FOB so I couldn’t just tape it together or Elmer glue it. I tried, but the entire thing would fall apart with the force of turning on the ignition. I went to Home Depot to have another key made and thought: I’ll have the encasement and the new key both on my keychain, just separate. That’ll be a quick low budget solution, but the key at Home Depot wouldn’t work. I guess the people there are just not advanced key smiths or something, I don’t know, they threw their hands up in the air and said sorry and gave me a refund. I needed a working key not a refund. I went to the Toyota dealership and the only solution they offered was to rekey everything, new fob! Please! $360 something they said. Hahaha. They saw the back of my head real quick. I had my sh*t taped for a while. The patience that I needed was out of this world. Especially since I had to take my key out to open the apartment gate with another key. I needed to have them together cause I lose loose items... Anyhow, I stopped by PapaJohns. Was waiting for my pizza. Thought what could I lose, just ask these guys if they can fix my key issue. By the time that my pizza was ready I drove out of this lot with a new encasement and new key, both functional. Less than $100, a bit over $40 I think for the whole thing. Damn! I had this done before the pandemic, so like February maybe. My key is still good now in July. Thank God! Update on February 2021, a year later still going strong. See pic below, note how the keychain part of the old fob is broken. The non plastic part was the part that was glued and kept breaking off with every turn, ugh what a pain that was! Anyhow, I write bad reviews, so to be fair, I take the time to write good reviews too! Cheers!

Locked my keys in the car in downtown LA. Made a call to this company for an $85 open (per the owner). The miscreant that arrived took all my info, license, plates and then presented me a $249 quote - for a late 2000s Ford Explorer. When I told him he can pack right up and go, then the pricing haggling starts. He says "How about $200?"..[me walking away].."$175?" I told him to buzz right off and never try to price gouge people outside of this miserable state. Every other quote was $85-$95. Here is the kicker. The owner said "I talked to him and he said you offered him $20." I told him he had a liar and a thief working for him. Then he says "Well we're a union of locksmiths so I subbed it out. I only get a cut of it so he was trying to make it up and I told him you cant do that to people." Then he said" He's new, apparently they did that at the previous company." - i.e - you know, stuff happens. This is a typical California union racket. Stay away from any of these union thieves and pony up the AAA cost.

Like a true Mr. Magoo, I lost my car key in my apt. And after a 2 hour search, I conceded defeat. And thus, I went to fetch the spare knowing that I needed to make a spare, of the spare. I pass by Key's frequently walking to get coffee and had also bought batteries for my car remote lock from them earlier in the year so I felt confident coming to them to make a new spare key and a new remote. The owner, a gentleman named Nir, was super nice and gave me a very fair deal on the set so it was an easy decision for me to say yes. The process for him to make the key, remote and synch it to my car took less than 10 minutes. There is a Coffee Bean right next door so by the time you grab your coffee and take a few sips, you'll pretty much be done :) I recommend with confidence.

Best place! I changed the ignition and the keys to my vehicle, not knowing that the original key provides a signal to turn on the car. I called this location and many more for prices and procedure. The guys explained what they would do and provided a great price (I called multiple places and all charged over 40% more) I informed them that I would get there after hours and I was accommodated. I received great customer service and did not feel rushed. I also took the time to get a few keys made. Kennon is nice. I highly recommend this location.

I love this place! I needed several keys and became very frustrated that Lowe's and Home Depot's key machines are ALWAYS out of order. I came here and was in and out in about 3-4 minutes. I paid pocket change for the keys I needed, as opposed to the above-mentioned businesses who would've charged me at least ten bucks. The owner is a really cool dude and treated me like a valued customer as opposed to merely being a "consumer". I will be returning soon to have our front door lock replaced, as this small business has earned my trust.

This place is absolutely amazing. Nir - the owner of the shop - is so kind and patient. I had an issue with two fobs for my cars; I tried replacing the batteries for both, and they stopped working. My car dealership told me it'd cost $1k to replace/reprogram each fob. However, Nir fixed both fobs in 5 minutes and saved me a LOT of money. Very reasonably priced, very efficient, very straightforward, and very friendly. If you ever have any issues with your car fob, I cannot recommend Key's Locksmith more highly. They're fantastic.

This is a high energy guy over here, very friendly and great customer service. If you should happen to be having a low day, here’s what you need to do: you need to get a key and come over and have it copied, even if you don’t actually need an extra key. This guy’s energy will do you good. And the keys that he has here, there are very many colorful designs that he keeps on display so you can pick a key that suits you or that suits the purpose of the key. I got a dolphin design, it’s very cute.

Replaced dead auto key battery quickly and for a very good price. Visited years ago and had odd keys perfectly duplicated. They carry a LOT of key brands, locks, etc. True professionals and very nice guys!

This company is great. They have been to my house and done a repair at reasonable cost and good quality. I have been to their store and they’ve cut keys which have worked perfectly. Just today they fixed a car key for me and although it took 10 or 15 minutes there was no charge. They were very generous with their time. Highly recommend.
