"The worse experience ! The guy never showed up , called back in to the customer service line and they told they could send someone else , and that I’d be getting a call from a vendor shortly "
"I had locked myself out of my apartment in Santa Monica and was quoted $150 to get in - fine"
"Go to an actual locksmith"
"Found a riteway less than a mike away from me with one of these machines"
"This was the worst key copy I’ve ever seen"
The worse experience ! The guy never showed up , called back in to the customer service line and they told they could send someone else , and that I’d be getting a call from a vendor shortly .... No on called . You’re better off smashing your head into the door your trying to get into then relying on this worthless company .
I had locked myself out of my apartment in Santa Monica and was quoted $150 to get in - fine. But the guy then charged me $250! Just to open my apartment door on a weekend at noon. Could it be because I’m a younger kid?!! Bad business and completely dishonest - rip off!!!!!
Go to an actual locksmith. These key boxes are not worth the convenience. There’s literally one locksmith a block away from this key box. Not worth paying about $8 for a basic key. The most basic one! They try to get you by sending a coupon
Found a riteway less than a mike away from me with one of these machines. Takes 3min and I got 3 keys and they all work fine. Plus, they have different shapes/colors available which is nice. Overall, a huge fan of this self-service machine.
This was the worst key copy I’ve ever seen. There’s literally metal shavings hanging off the thing, and we payed extra for the “ smoother cut” why on earth isn’t it just ONE setting: “ smooth cut “?? Hopefully I’ll get a refund.
These are automated kiosks. It took about 5 minutes, start to finish never having used it before, to cut 3 building keys, $18, total. It was about $6-7 more than a hardware store, $3-4 more than a local locksmith.
It took a little bit but the machne and process was cool I immediately lost the key the next day ha ha ha but found it a couple days later. Maybe key rings could be an option?
Worked to copy my apt fob, however the kiosk UI could use an update - it doesn't give good feedback that it's scanning at the beginning and it's not clear that it was read.
I’d been needing to get a key copied since I moved in! I got a free key for making 2 copies. Less than 5 minutes on the way out of the grocery store and I was done.
This is a great service! They even keep your key on file (securely, fingerprint needed) for future use in case of a lockout. Love it. Cheap, fast and the keys work.
I made the costly mistake of making two keys at a KeyMe kiosk. They did not work and customer service is not giving me a refund. I will never use a kiosk again!
The keys didn't work in the deadbolt, only in the normal lock. Edit: they issued a refund immediately, now I will have keys made at an actual shop
Keys did not work. I was careful to follow the instructions. Do you really want to deal with a machine instead of a person who has a job?
Super easy kiosk! Little expensive but so quick and convenient that I didn't mind the price. Cute selection of special designs.
Better than any locksmith, as the machine works during the entire time (6AM-midnite) that “my” Ralph’s supermarket is open…
I liked the keys that were made at the kiosk. Unfortunately the keys that were supposed to be sent to me never arrived.
Spent extra money for the key to be extra efficient and it still couldn’t open my door, scam product
I've tried the service twice now. Two different kiosks. Neither key has worked.
Was able to copy a key while other places were closed. Thanks to the machines
Wish google would have sent me to a person. Expensive - triple the cost.
My key that I paid $9.99 for did not work. It was a waste of my money.
None of the three keys worked but you prompt;y refunded my payment.
i had the time of my life. hands down the best key me experience.
Convenient service. Quick response from Customer Support
Made 8 keys yesterday-got home and NONE of them worked!
Easy to use in the grocery store and worked well!
Replica keys do not work, I would like a refund.
Very easy and inexpensive - I recommend them
Key works great! Fast delivery, too.
Was quick and keys worked great!
So cool, innovative, and easy.
