Disappointed and I hope this gets read Came in to see whether my click and collect order was ready … got there and as soon as I got there I got an email to say my order has been canceled Went to the desk to see if my other item that was on there was ready .. They gave me a poor excuse that oh we work with another store with click and collects and the other store didn’t have the stock to fulfil so we cancelled it which is strange .. I explained I placed the click and collect at your store so not sure why another store would receive this … she continued to say sorry I can’t help. I went looking around the store to see if they had the stock THERE WAS A WHOLE DAMN WALL full of the item that I ordered Took the products back and showed her the items were there her next excuse was oh they must have just put them out .. I said really because a lot has been taken from the pile .. very poor excuses They were too lazy to even look so they just cancelled my order find staff who actually want to work and do their job correctly

Thr amazing part of this store is, they open 24/7 . This is very convenient store with huge space and lots of collection. Staffs are really good and friendly. They alwas keep themselves busy to refill the products, ehich is good for the customers. You will find variety of products such as kitchen items, garden items, utensil, cloths inner and outer for men, women and kids, shoes . They have huge collection of kids toys. Moreover you will get paints, pillows, household products, exercise accesories and everything you need for your lifestyle. They have table, cahirs, sofa, mirror and many things. If you talk about price, than its very cheap comparing to anywhere. Its a big store. And every products are well organised and divided by aisle so that the customer dont have to rush for finding the products. Overall this is very good store.

Visited Kmart Sylvania and Night staff Josh Smriti, Claudia and Security Mohamed were the superstars, I was looking for childrens book and bike accesorries and they were so helpfull and finally they were able to find what I was lookong for. Service with a smile, patient and friendly staff. Group of youngsters were playing in the store, were very noisy and annoying while i was served. Security Mohamed and Josh warned them that if they dont return soccer balls and keep the noice down they will be escorted out of the store. Unfortunately they ignored. Another customer complained shortly after that about same group being noisy and disrespectfull and KMART staff were forced to politely escort group out of the store. Well Done Night Crew

online it’s showing that Soft Case - Black, 72cm $35.00 was $37 it’s in stock i went there but couldn’t find it. even right now still it’s showing in stock but there is no option to post pic. anyways then i walked to front desk everyone ignored me and kept doing their stuff. finally i walked to a guy at the entrance asking if anyone can help me? answer was down at left at corner customer service . went there lady walked out frustrated checking with a guy and he replied $35 bag it’s been out of stock. so why are you guys not updating your website and misguiding people and wasting their time and fuel coming there looking stuff . i wish if there is any option to upload the pic. @Sylvania shame on you guys and at your customer service.

Out of all the Kmart stores I have frequented throughout the years this one, so far, has been an absolute disappointment. I was so excited to go inside since moving to the Shire but the first thing that I noticed was the smell of cheap plastic which I have never experienced in other stores. The shelves were empty, floors were a mess, the whole environment felt outdated and the opposite of refreshing. The staff member at the self check out was extremely rude and definitely lacked some proper training in customer service skills. Overall, I am extremely disappointed and for the time being will probably stick to placing orders online. But it's not the same as shopping i the store. Such a shame.

I liked Kmart Sylvania it was a big store with a big range of clothing home kids and sport the checkouts were at the front of the store which was good other Kmart stores have checkouts in the middle of their stores it was a perfect sized store not too big and not to small just the right size they had a big variety of toys and they had a big range of books and they had a tech bar and an awesome service desk Sylvania Southgate shopping centre is a good size that has everything you need Coles Woolworths and Kmart other variety shops I would highly recommend this Kmart as a good shopping experience

Spoke with a customer service memeber, named Andrew regarding a click and collect order, wanting to know how the outstanding items will be collected/sent, or if I could collect from another nearby store as the website showed those items in stock. Andrew was of absolutely no assistance and rather sounded like he was reading a script. My order is through the Sylvania branch but his recommendation was to contact those near by stores to get an update on those items. No solution to my outstanding items was provided from the Sylvania branch, despite my order being through the Sylvania branch.

Do they even have a purchasing manager?? Lots of seasonal stock but have not been able to pick up essentials when I needed them. I see entire rows bare in some aisles. For example, I have visited on 5 separate occasions to buy those large ziplock reusable freezer bags and they are never in stock despite being advertised online. It is basically an impulse buy store because you can't plan to pick up anything specific before you get there. Staff are apologetic but won't tell anyone to correct stock numbers. Do better, Kmart Sylvania- this is such poor form.

I would like to thank the help I received this morning from Robyn who was in the customer service department. To be honestly It's very hard to find people like you Robyn, thank you so much. I guess your colleague who works at the entrance with the pink Hi-Vis should take a course with you how to be gentle and treat people well, especially customers. I would never have an employee who doesn't treat people well at the entrance to my establishment, but maybe she wasn't having a good day. Thanks Robyn!

Very dodgy electrical items. Please make sure you hang onto your receipts!! We used to buy several items from Kmart and, like most people, don’t always keep receipts for the lower cost electrical items. Clearly Kmart take this into account and offer a small percentage of store credit for their items that break within 6 months of purchase. This seems like a great tactic to work around consumer rights by playing on customer behaviours, so be warned and always keep your receipts!

Favourite store! Has everything you need, prices super good. Something for everyone. I could rave on about Kmart forever. I'd say majority of people go there. Easy parking, undercover too... Caters to all needs. Toys, clothing for all types of people, ,baby clothing, Household goods, fishing stuff, bikes, furniture & furnishings, chocolates, all types of lollies. the list is huge of what they carry. Tech goods etc., Go online too! OMG it's terrific.

The staff here are incredibly rude and dismissive. I went to click and collect over 15 items that were apparently ready to collect as per the email and text they sent me and the only thing I collected was air in a bag because apparently they had no stock of the items I ordered and then advised me they couldn’t assist me to my enquires of confusion and then referred me to their phone at the front desk to call click and collect support myself.

Absolutely horrible security - Got denied entry because I have had pet that too in a trolley !! First kmart store that has ever done that!! Anyways, that is not why I am complaining. Passive aggressive with words and his body language. Absolutely insane!!. I totally respect the employee that was trying to make me understand the reason why pets were not allowed!! One of the worst run KMarts I've been to. No trolleys. They said they'd be here in 30 mins, but still none. No one was serving, self checkouts only open. I had far too much to fit on the little weighing machine. The attendant was sulky and unhelpful. Eventually my stuff spilled all over the floor, and there was no way I could stack it. This is just the worst in a long line of poor service in this store.

Absolutely horrible security - I understand that they are trying to do their job, but verbally abusive language in such a condescending tone to my daughter is not the way to handle things. She was testing out a cart to see if it could hold her weight (as she is slightly larger) and he threateningly asked if she would like to get kicked out. Not coming back, hope a manager talks to him.

Let's be honest, what can't you find at Kmart?! One of my favourite places to be! You can find amazingly affordable items for every arena of life in this huge store! The only downside is that you'll end your journey with a shopping cart full of items you never even knew existed, or that you wanted! Awesome place to be, and employees are helpful! HIGHLY recommend this store!

A decent sized 24 hour store located within Southgate Shopping Centre. The centre remains open throughout the night so the store is always accessible from inside. They keep the store relatively well stocked and you can easily pick up Snapfish orders here too. Staff are generally helpful with only the odd one here and there being unreliable! Purchased a laundry hamper today. No assisted (human) checkouts available, only self serve. I accidentally left the item behind amongst all the chaos. Tried calling literally half a dozen times to hopefully get sales staff to put aside so I can collect another day. No answer, even tho I rang at different times of the day. Atrocious service!!!

Great store although they did not have the items I was after despite the website saying the store had them in stock. The staff were very helpful in trying to locate the items in the warehouse but I went home empty handed. Although the staff tried their best, they were l down by incorrect data on their website.

I'm a senior and fine it very hard when raining not to get wet due to the lifts, both lifts are positioned out side, they should have been designed internal, this is not only for senior but people with small children in prames and people with dissibility. No go zone for me when it rains

Open 24hrs and the staff, whilst all young, give excellent customer service! This Kmart is always well stocked as well, unlike Eastgardens. Big plus is the fact that they haven’t made the dreaded change where the checkouts are in the middle of the store; They are still at the entrance/exit.

Has old layout on the news. Really big store and opened 24/7. You can find pretty much everything you need and the stock seems to be replaced rather quickly. All of the additional services like Laybay or returns work well and the staff is quite nice. Overall, great shopping experience.

I would definitely say it's a medium sized branch. Was a little bit crowded over the weekend. The varieties might be limited depending on what are you looking for. The staff is friendly and available. Car parking is spacious. The great plus is it has a car service and tyres Kmart.

I love kmart, there's always something there that I didn't know I needed. The customer service is (usually) spectacular. You won't always find exactly what you're looking for so you should hope that you can creative if you don't want to wait a while the shelves to be restocked.

The overnight staff member Deb was really helpful. She looked everywhere for a particular product I was after but we were unable to find it. I appreciate her exceptional service she was really friendly and did her very best to help me. I’m really happy with the service here.

Horrible horrible phone service, just neexed to know if something was in stock as their online numbers are always wrong. Sylvania took 40 minutes to answer the phone and even then I had to hang up because I could not wait any longer. This is horrendous customer care.
