I used to like this Kohl's, but it seems to have gone down hill. A week ago, I called to ask if an item was in stock. The sales lady on the other end didn't say "Hello, thanks for calling Khol's", instead I got "Hello." I had to ask if it was Khol's that I had called and she said yes. At the end of the call there was no "have a nice day", she just hung up. I called back and asked for a manager. I described the event and that I felt the lady had been rude. No apology from the manager, just "Okay, got it." Then today I was shopping for a swimsuit. As I walked around I noticed a distinct lack of staff. I saw maybe one or two clerks walking around. When I got to the swimsuit section it was an absolute mess so I gave up on finding something and went to help my mother find some sheets. We ended up using the paging system but after ten minutes of waiting for an associate we decided to go. My mom had a couple of things she still wanted to get so we went to check out. The cashier was nice enough, but when I told her that we had paged someone but no one showed up, she didn't say a word. No apology, no offer to tell a manager. Nothing. I do not recommend shopping here.

I was shopping for men's dress shoes. What a disappointment. It was a very poor selection. They only had two brands. Black or brown and not many styles to choose from. I was looking for black, size 10. Not one pair to be found. In fact, one of the brands had, I think, like 6 boxes left. The sizes available were 7, 8, 9, and 13. Their website has many brands and styles to choose from, but I do not like to buy shoes online. I like to try them on first and compare one style with another to find the most comfortable. It is frustrating to order shoes online and wait to receive and then to return them if they don't fit or are not comfortable and then order a different size or style and have to repeat the whole process over again and again. When you ask a sales associate about the selection or availability, they usually tell you to just order them online. I'm sick of that response.

A couple of the younger age employees at this store need training in customer service and helpfulness. They portray a very unhelpful attitude. I asked the cashier if she had any scratchers. The cashier simply said no. I told her that I was offered scratchers at the Scottsdale store off 101 the night before. No response from her, basically ignoring me. Through the whole checkout process I felt like I was bothering her. . Prior to this I went to the customer service desk to make a return. There was a young lady just standing in front on the desk, no one behind the desk. It would have been nice if she had asked if she could help me but I was basically ignored. I will go to the Scottsdale store for a better experience with more helpful customer associates.

This store is poorly run. The store is messy with clothes laying around falling off tables onto the floor. I used to only dressing room open which had clothes all over each rooms making it hard to hang up what I brought with me. The rack that was being used for the clothes people didn't want was over flowing on to the floor. When asked about the mess I was informed by an employee that they were short staffed. I have shopped at other Kohls around the state and have not heard that problem at other stores which are organized and neat. Short staffed has become an excuse for lazy management and staff and should not shared with the consumer. I will continue to shop at Kohls but will not shop at the store at Desert Ridge.

So I realized you have to pay close attention to what the sale sign that the item you're looking at says. The clothing is all over the place so if you see something on a rack with a sale sign, check the product tag and compare it to the sale sign because there is a good chance what you're looking at is not actually on sale. I was Christmas shopping and I must admit that figuring out how much stuff was that I wanted was kinda frustrating. Two items I bought were actually cheaper than what the sale sign said; one item that was on a sale rack was full price. After Christmas my husband did find several more items he really liked. And my boys do easily find Vans shoes there they like.

I love Kohl’s, they have good prices, always have sales & good deals. You can definitely walk out with something for the whole family or your house. The one thing I keep waiting for is for the company to add real shopping carts!!! It’s a great store to shop with the whole family but where do you put your little ones?? I’m saying that because I have a toddler and an infant and a real shopping cart would be easier & more convenient to shop around with. For this reason, I avoid Kohl’s 99% of the time. Hopefully someone can figure this one out and I can spend more money there

I am glad to see there are a lot of reviews for this store and a good rating average cause it deserves it. When Kohls first opened they seemed a little more expensive but for the last few years this is the first place I look for clothes or shoes or outterwear. Great selections, great sales, always running promotions with discounts, great clearance racks... I just always think the makeup is too expensive so I never shop that but everything else is really great. I love the staff here and the atmosphere. I even love the weird carts they have. :)

Definitely the worst Kohl's I've ever been in. Everything was totally disorganized. Stuff was hung up, but none of the prices were listed for the items on display with the tags and there was alot of clothes out of place from the rest. Plus, come to find out a certain shirt I thought it was (due to numerous others being on display with what I thought it was) wasn't even! Now I have to take time to go back to Kohl's (a different one this time) to exchange it. This place needs to figure itself out. Target was WAY better of an experience.

This review is for Sephora at the Kohl's Desert Ridge location. Most of the associates here are not very helpful or friendly. The worst experience was with Stass (tall, African American girl). She was was not very knowledgeable with Sephora's policy or Kohl's system. She was very rude and condescending during the whole checkout process. She kept saying I did not have a receipt for the exchange/refund but it was right in front of her and on my Kohl's app. It was the most frustrating and offensive experiences.

Would have given no stars if possible. HORRIBLE customer service. They make you feel like a criminal for just trying to use coupons they send you, dispute the validity of the coupon use even with reading the conditions of use on the spot. Also no one available to help you find items, and hound you at checkout to sign up for their credit card, or use it if you have one, even after politely declining. Returning the items purchased and will just order online from now on, IF I purchase anything else from Kohl's.

I came in there today by 8:05 p.m., after driving for 30 minutes to get there. I picked out some clothing for my grandfather's funeral. Then at 8:20, when I went to the dressing room to try stuff on, I found that the dressing room was closed. I asked the cashier about it and she told me to use the women's dressing room. Um no.. I'm a man.. They should keep the dressing rooms open untill the store closes. It's a clothing store! I just wasted over an hour of my time nothing. And they lost money because of it.

Very disappointed. Kohls coupons and sales are a joke now. Plus they took out the jewelry. Gone are the days when my aunt and I would wait for the paper coupons to arrive in the mail and go shopping. Now you get a 30% off coupon and it only covers certain items. I got a 15% coupon in my “wallet” on my online credit card account. Come to find out it was only for customers that didn’t have an account. I’m gonna pay off my card and close it. I’ve been reading that Kohls is gonna close. I can see why

I had the BEST customer service from Jordan who works at Sephora inside Kohls. I couldn't find my receipt for a return and, to make a long story short, Jordan went WAY beyond what most people would have done to get me my credit. She even remembered what I bought and when I bought it. Whatever she is making is not enough. I have never had a customer service experience like she provided. Bravo Jordan!!! I will return to this Sephora store just because of Jordan.

Good selection of Men's clothing. I found what I needed quickly but took a long time getting thru checkout. First, there were not enough cashiers to handle the surge of customers checking out, then, the one's that were working spent a lot of time chatting with customers and each other. I understand chatting with customers is a great customer service tactic, but please consider all the other people in line that may not have the time or desire to chat.

I went to pick up Mother's Days Gift with my Husband we had just had cold stone he asked for a bag to place the leftover ice cream in. They would not give him a bag. I went to restroom where they flooded him to meet me. It was very uncomfortable experience. There was no jewelry in case. No fragrance on the Shelf. Also,no Boys summer sandals. Then I was asked if I wanted Khloes card I would never after this experience Saturday before Mother's Day.

I don't shop at Kohls much (too far for frequent trips) but I always have a good experience. Today I was shopping for shoes. I was pretty lost until Teresa asked if I needed help. She spent nearly 40 minutes with me and helped me find a couple pair on sale within my budget. I must have tried on a dozen pair. High customer service marks for Teresa. Edit to add: I forgot to mention Teresa's very high level of specific product/brand knowledge.

It seems like every time I go to the store to purchase an advertised item on sale the store doesn't have it. I'm not talking about not having my size. The store doesn't have the item. I ask for help to find the items I'm looking for and the sales people have no idea where it is. It comes down to if it's not on the floor and they can't find it, they don't have it. This has happened the last three times I went to the Desert Ridge Kohl's.

Nice store! I love Desert Ridge Mall as well. It's such a pretty mall. Anyhow this Kohl's has Amazon returns which will give you a 5% off in the store (and online). Not sure if all the Kohl's have this. Kohl's online returns can be grouchy in the afternoons but hey that must be that big sandwich. Still, I'll shop Kohl's because they carry Croft & Barrow which has the softest, best proportioned long sleeve women's tees ever.

I was so disappointed with my shopping experience. No one waited on us, I finally found someone to ask where the shoes were and the gal told us on the other side of the wall. We then went searching and asked a few more people and they pointed and said over there. There were several employees available to help but they were too busy tasking to stop and show us. Kohl's, remember your customer is the reason you are there.

The store itself was fine, typical Kohls. The issue is, it's 113 degrees outside & the only place you could feel the air was at the very front of the store!! We were looking for the right size jeans in the usual section & there was NO air movement at all. I'm sure there had to be some sort of air, but it was very still, made me lightheaded & nauseous. Didn't stick around. At least outside there was a slight breeze.

Great, IF you're prepared to try everything on or are prepared to return if you don't try on as nothing fits the same. Great, IF you have the discounted % off coupons because otherwise you will pay way more than other places. Great, IF you have several needs such as home and clothing. Great, IF you prefer trendy/seasonal/cheaper quality over classic/timeless/quality styles. This location is clean and well kept.

Dissapointed, because they say since I am a veteran, I get 15% off on all.items. Well I guess there was small fine print that says, the discount does not apply to any of the well known shoe manufacturers, such as Nike, Addidas. Senior Management team at Kohl's must be all Democratic Socialists Communism. I wish they all move to China. So only Vans and Buster Brown will you get your. Some things never xhangrr

Was there last Tuesday. I was looking for non slip bathroom rugs. I saw an associate working in that very area and asked if she knew where they were. She said she's worked there 4 years and has never seen any. Guess what? I looked around more and found some. If I had more time I would have complained to a manager. How many sales do they miss out with laziness or incompetence like this?

This particular Kohl's is my favorite. It seems to have younger styles for older women than the other Kohl's I've shopped at. I like going on a week day in the morning hours when it's not so busy. It seems with all the great deals Kohl's offers coupled with their Kohl's Kash, the lines aren't that long. The agents are always personable at both stores and greet you with a smile.

The only staff you see our cashiers, all the rest are hidden around the store like trying to find Waldo. There is terrible selection for kids clothes and the ones you do find are crambed into older kids selections. Very little toddler clothes. Some of there areas are a mess compared to other Kohls I have been to. This store definitely needs to be organized better.

Kohl's is an exciting store to shop at. I go to both locations in the valley and I have found interesting items at both stores. The Kohl's Cash is nice to receive. The Kohl's credit card is also nice to have as you can get additional discounts/promotions plus rewards. If you are not a Kohl's shopper yet, I highly recommend getting in on the deals at their stores.

This is a Kohl's department store. If you have seen one, you have seen them all (except the bad ones). So, this is definitely not one of the bad ones. I use this place to mostly return Amazon stuff while my spouse will buy things, especially if she has Kohl's cash. The deal on the launch PS5 that Kohl's offered is still the best console deal I have ever received.

What a terrible experience! I shop in the Mesastore all the time and I just happen to be by desert ridge and thought I'd stop in and see what they had. Never again! however if you're looking to be ignored and then if you're looking to wait 10 minutes in line and then have the staff treat you like you're stupid desert ridge as the place to go!

I shopped at Kohls at the Desert Ridge Mall. I was checked out by a very nice man named Hank. Hank helped me remove all the hangers that I didn’t want. Went to drop amazon return off. Saw a lot of clothing to buy, and had 6 or 7 pieces to try. The changing rooms are closed? So, I can pick up, touch clothing, take it home to try on, but cannot try in the store. Really? I just dropped it all and walked out. Not buying 4 pair of pants that may or may not fit right.

The most confusing store layout to try and map out. I cant even start looking for an item that I want before getting side tracked with looking at something completely different. It's like shopping at an amazon factory...i always walk in hopeful and almost always leave disappointed. What happened to you Kohl's?

I'm a guy so going to a larger "big box" style store is really not my jam but as Mrs. Awesome was out of town, I had to go .... Great clearance prices !!! I can usually find something everytime I visit..Associates at the registers are always friendly..associates on the floor are sparse and seem to keep to their selfs..not a lot of customer service...so if you like to shop and not be bothered this is a good place shop

The store at Desert Ridge is very well organized and clean. Covid protocols are very evident. Not a lot of staff available on the floor in case you have questions, but that is unfortunately very common in retail these days. Plenty of convenient parking close to the store entrance.

Iv always enjoyed this Kohls, they have a very very large selection and always find something that I like, the employees are always very helpful and nice. All of the quality of the clothing is nice as well as the prices. Check them out it's definitely worth the time. 4 stars...

Very clean and organized store. Kohls is my first choice for clothes. They always seem to have a sale and if you sign up you get Kohls cash to spend at your next visit. They also carry household goods and small kitchen appliances. Very good quality. Convenient location.

A very large variety to make any customer happy. Their products are a little pricey, but they always have sales. They also have Kohl's Cash, which you can use on your next visit. I know people who save them, and when they use them, their purchase is almost free.

This is a great place to shop, eat and grab a movie. They have a good selection of stores, its clean and plenty of parking. The sprinklers for the kids is a plus. They also have live entertainment, movie night for kids and various other activities to engage in.

I feel everything in this store is over priced. However, they do give you money coupons when you do shop, so you can later use those money coupons for additional purchases at a later date. This is just another gimmick to make sure you come back to shop again.

I spent over $100 and the sales associate was not very attentive as she did not remove the security tags on the items I purchased. I had to go to a different Kohls and the sales person there removed them and apologized for the former associates incompetence.

I like this store, and occasionally, especially with percents off and coupons and Kohl's cash I can get bargains. However, I find that their regular everyday prices have gone way through the roof. I think they really need to get back to better pricing.

Kohl's is very nice. I found some very nice blouses at 80% off. I got 4 blouses for $26.00. I don't like the parking lot at Desert Ridge, it's very congested and hard to get around. But it's nice that they have so many different stores in one place.

I had visited multiple stores with very little inventory of Levi's pant. So I went to Kohls and they had a large selection of Levi's pants which was nice to see. The price was lower than other stores. I would recommend Kohls for your first visit.

Should have requested to speak to a Store Manager after dealing with "new employees" regarding Kohl's cash. Their restrictions regarding the valid dates are difficult to redeem when you live over 100 miles from the stores.

Store was usual busy, very suprised how much clothing went up, 30 and 40 dollars US for a pair of fitness shorts. 20.00 for a plain tee shirt. Staff were nice and said hello. Store was clean for the most part. No issues.

What can I say? I really love Kohl's! They have great coupons, great clothes. I find it very easy to get presents for my family there. The employees are always helpful. Their housewares department is full of great ideas.

A real good value brick and mortar store that lets you try on clothes and go home with the right fit. The clothes are solid offerings for those that don't need to get stupid blingy.
