Ordered items a month ago with no indication they may go on back order. One book of 4 arrived with no indication as to when rest would come. Rang customer service, was on hold for 2hours with no answer! Tried emailing, no answer, tried Instagram message, no answer. 2 weeks later another 2 books arrive, tried ringing to find out if other book would arrive before Christmas. On hold for an hour, no answer. Received another invoice for the last missing book. Tried ringing again, on hold for another half hour before I gave up. Absolutely terrible customer service. I will never buy from or recommend them again. I ordered a similar item from overseas and got it in a few days. Koorong, you need to switch on with your customer service. Unbelievable!!! Oh and I still don’t have the last book or any idea of when it may arrive.

What an absolutely delightful store. Not sure how it had not popped up on my radar before. Well I guess someone/something knows why, as it was absolutely no coincidence that I ended up here today. The staff were awesome, friendly and super helpful. I am looking forward to my next visit already, when I may hopefully try out the cafe. Thank you update 23 Nov 2022. My second visit to this delightful store and treated myself to a book then met with a friend and had a sandwich and coffee in the cafe. Fast becoming my favourite bookstore in Melbourne Update 20.04.23; This is my most favourite store in all of Melbourne. I'm not a big shopping fan but love browsing here then enjoy a coffee and bite to eat in the cafe. Friendly and really helpful staff seal the deal. Thank you ❤️

Every time I've visited the Koorong bookstore I have had a phenomenal experience. I live maybe 45 - 60 minutes away, and I would happil- no, *gleefully* drive all that way if it means I can browse a wonderfully curated selection of Christian content. I honestly make a day out of it. Their cafe is also subliiiiime. I ordered a chai there, and without even telling the barista, she beautifully created a little foam bear face on top. Bears are literally my favourite animal. I was proper gobsmacked!!! And the little Bible verses they cut out and give you are so precious... A year later, and I still have mine, because it meant a lot to me at the time I received it. I've grown up coming here, and I will not stop coming here unless I lived in a separate state. PLEASE do yourself a flavour and visit!!

Lovely little Christian Faith based book store and cafe. Lots and lots of books for ALL ages. And levels of faith. From Bible's to testimonies and picture books with a Small indoor play area for children while your browsing. They have a gift area filled with lots of bits and pieces. Beautiful journal's with scriptures on the pages too. Prayer diaries and lots more. The cafe is cute and small. With a pretty good selection of cakes and treats. Not much table space unfortunately the tables go quickly so that's sometimes a disappointment. (would be great for out door seating in warmer weather. Just an idea?) Over all its a great little bookstore and cafe. With a positive vide.

Always such a pleasure to visit. Koorong is an attractive, clean and well stocked shop. The layout is nice and easy to explore and there is a vast selection of products. There aren’t too many books they don’t have and it’s really tempting to go over the budget. You can buy music, T-shirts, gifts, books and so much more. They also deliver and the online shop is easy to navigate. The staff are very friendly and helpful as you would expect and they even have a little cafe. Parking out front is limited and it’s only 30 minutes or 15 minutes. There is extra parking nearby in addition to disabled parking. There is also a fish n chip shop next door for a sneaky bite.

Delicious Vanilla This is the go-to bookshop for evangelical Christianity in the broadest sense of that word. They are always polite and know how to make the price appealing. I wish there was not so much Christian pulp fiction and more of the deep or practical stuff in store, but they know what side their bread is buttered on, so I get it. They do have an excellent variety of all resources including theology, Christian living, kids stuff, DVDs and on and on. I only wish there were more stores here in Victoria. Definitely come here if you're looking for any kind of Christian merchandise without a particular sectarian flavour.

Koorong is Christian bookstore. This bookstore sells different types of Bible versions, theology, apologetics, philosophy and bibliography books. If the store doesn't hold the books you want, they can order the books. Unfortunately, during this covid times, book orders take awhile to receive them. The staff are very helpful and respectful. There's a cafe inside the store. If you purchase books, more than 100aud, you get a free drink of your choice. My suggestion is to call ahead to check with the store has the books you want. Sometimes their website is not clear on the availability.

Koorong is an absolute gem, unfortunately in the past year years there has been a huge drop in Christian libraries, bookstores and establishment. To see Koorong open and still holding strong in sharing, selling and distributing material that can help others in their faith is beautiful. May God bless them and also I highly recommended this place to everyone. If you have questions and aren't able to find the answers or are wanting to learn more about God or the teachings of Jesus I highly recommend you go and explore the wonderful material and books they have to offer.

First time at Koorong and had a great experience. Nice atmosphere with a large selection of books and a small coffee stand at the side - you can also check stock levels for the store online so you don't waste your time. The staff was lovely! The staff member who approached me in a non-pushy way to help me find what I was after. The price in store was different to the price on their website, so they waited patiently for me to pull it up on my phone (even though it was a bit busy) and then they added the discount. They even offered to get me a fresh copy from the back room.

A Warm and welcoming Christian bookshop! Pages cafe inside the bookshop is cosy with a good selection of easy lunch or snack options! Browsing after enjoying a hot choc and a Florentine was very satisfying. Wonderful choice of Children's books, and devotionals and gifts. Make sure to leave enough time to browse around the book shelves. There were so many I could have bought! Self-control kicked in and bought for the grandchildren books for Easter ❤️ Jesus has been risen for close to 2,000 years! Hallelujah ❤️

First visit to this christian store. We have been waiting so long to visit any christian store and we found this. Purposes was to return online order which was defect. Process was easy and the staff was helpful. The store itself was massive. It was 2 seperate store combined. So many items can be looked around, from book, bible, merch, ornament, etc. It even has cafe but it was close when we were there. Ended up purchasing more books and bookmarks. Definitely recommended.

I'm having a very poor experience. Their new system is not working well. Only one staff (although they really try) in a store has access to check in the ordering system and only when you call customer service can they tell you that the book is in back order. It's not good to say they have 35 in the warehouse when the REAL number is ZERO! I really hope they fix it soon. Will not order things in store or online at all from now on. Only buy in-store.

My wife spent over$500 at Koorong the other day and they didn't apply the added discount% you get for spending over a certain amount of $$$. They have her a $20 voucher but that doesn't really add up. The shop itself is excellent if you're into that kind of thing but it's also very expensive. $24 odd for a pack of thin highlighter pens is ludicrous when you can get the same thing for under $10 at office works. Maybe it's a god tax

It really liked it. Christian bookshops are not normally a favourite place of mine, however this one felt completely normal. A normalising breath of fresh air. The shop has a coffee place inside which is great, a clean bathroom and a bright well stocked selection of books. I did not know there are so many versions of Bible! Lots of customers inside and parking right outside in front. Great!

The totally helpful staff and ambience just adds even more to the positive experience Update: they didn't have a book I wanted in any of their stores in the country but they offered to ship it all the way from the US. Yeap, customer service still great and I love the budget Bibles they always have on sale.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and were able to answer all my questions about the products I was looking for, as well as making recommendations to me for further study and the like. Altogether an amazing store that I love to shop at!

I love this place. Koorong is a great place to browse for books and find new things. The staff are fantastic and willing to help you find anything. The store isn't super pram friendly as I felt like I was in everyone's way and some of the walk ways are narrow. I enjoy going to the Cafe as well. Love shopping here. Service is always great, the staff are lovely. It is great when they have storewide discounts! They have a lovely cafe joined onto the place as well which is nice. There is not a lot of parking, and all parking is limited as well. Be prepared to parallel park if you come here during a Saturday or busy time.

Good selection of Bibles but would love a more varied range of Christian experiences and politics represented here. Most (not all but certainly most) errs on the conservative side- which is fine, but not the only way to be a Christian. Got two great prayer and devotional books which are mainly Bible readings.

Larger than expected with a variety of stuff and a nice Cafe too. Their bible section was extensive although video content was more limited. Worth checking with the call centre for stock levels before you visit as this is the only Koorong store in Victoria. Be careful of the uneven floor too!

Instead of being helpful, showing concern and working in the interest of the client, customer service staff are very arrogant and intimating. 'Customer service' mean being at the service of the customers not at the service of 'Koorong'. Very disappointing how my 2 orders have been handled.

Feels very crowded and little room to move. Staff appear rushed and do not stop to chat to customers. I think the products need to be reduced so more room for customers to move. The Cafe is great but to cramped and not sufficient hours to catch up with friends if you work during the day.

This place is huge! There is so much to choose from! Unfortunately, they didn't have some of the books that I went there for. We are going back on Monday when they open. Probably spend the day there sorting through the treasures, then home to Bendigo!

A shop for all faith predominately Christian faith. Staff was helpful and courteous. Training Staff Esther in particular was extremely nice and willing to help with whatever she could. Extremely busy on a Saturday. I was treated with respect.
