"Lovely temple with a serene and blissful atmosphere"
The Sri Valli Devasena Subramanya Swamy Temple in Melbourne is a truly enchanting place, emanating positive energy and tranquility. The serene ambiance and the presence of numerous deities, including the Navagrahas, offer a deep sense of peace and devotion. It might be the only temple with such a unique combination in Melbourne. I highly recommend visiting this sacred site in Deanside, Melbourne to experience its spiritually uplifting atmosphere and connect with the divine.
Love visiting this traditional temple which gives devotional satisfaction and it has most deities including Shiva, Parvathi, Ganapathi, Marukan, Ayyapa, Devi, Ram Sita Laxman, Devi, Navagraha, and so on. Rituals are done the traditional ways and gives a lot of similar vibes of temples back home. The canteen run by volunteers have amazing food and hope they would open it back soon once the pandemic is under control.
Peaceful place. Very tidy and devotional temple. You have ample car park spaces. Murugan, Genesha, Shina, Parvati devi, Sri Vishnu, Lord Rama, Lakshmi Nrusimha. All this idols have seperare roof and place to worship. Love to come here. Website has temple timings. Australia is expensive for Pooja and archana. Will visit again.
The temple website is outdated and the last updated was on year 2021.We cant find out which festival is happening when on year 2023.I think the temple management must have commonsense to update the latest information. That is the purpose of the website for. Please publish the updated information.thank you
Lovely temple with a serene and blissful atmosphere. The are three sanctums in all. The main one, the second where you can do abhishek for shiva lingam and the third which is for Ganesha. There is a canteen which is closed currently due to COVID-19. Restrictions are carried out properly. .
This one of the big Hindu temple in Victoria. Excellent location will give the peace and relaxing soon as you visit. Also you will get the great support from the community and the temple staffs. Most of the devotees believe the blessings and repeat to visit again and again.
Beautiful temple in Rock bank ....குன்று இருக்கும் இடமெல்லாம் குமரன் இருக்கும் இடமாக குவலயத்தோர் வழிபடட்டும்! the canteen food is tasty but idly served with bare hands and the counter person will charge separately for smiling and speaking kindly
From humble beginnings, this temple has brought lots of joy and good vibes to visitors. The facilities are good and the food at the canteen is delicious! Be careful not to miss the turn off, as the driveway is not exactly where the sign points.
Devotional place, always welcoming and their shiva lingam outside( I love that concept) just one concern whoever does milk abhishekam to Shiva and Nandhi please finish with water to avoid flies and bugs. 5* rating for the temple. Must visit.
This temple is a serene retreat away from traffic. It is still under development, but it exudes a palpable spiritual energy. Lord Vinayaka, Lord Shiva, Navagraha deities, and the main deity, Lord Murgan, grace the temple. Their divine
A very unique design and feels good to be there. The temple is very clean, well maintained. The cafe is awesome with very nice food for a very fair price. It a bit of a drive if you are in the southeastern suburbs but worth it.
The way to the temple is take left on Neale road and turn into Gray circuit and it will guide you to the temple. Google maps will take you to wrong side of the temple, where you don't have way to enter the temple.
Visited the temple a few weekends ago and I found out that they sell takeaway Indian food at the entrance. The food is delicious and authentic. ---------------------------------------------
Temple is pure bliss. Long way from becoming easily accessible. Be ready to wash your car after a visit as it will be completely covered in dust due to the bad roads that lead up to it.
It has the pleasure of south Indian temple. I found the way to temple wasn't smooth because of roadwork. Someone in the temple suggested alternative route when I gave them a call.
Beautiful authentic south Indian temple architecture. You can have an Indian temple experience right here in Melbourne West and to think that it's possible is just amazing.
Temple on the outskirts of Melbourne. Not served by published transport to the best of my knowledge, lucky I had a hire car. Set in big grounds but needs a lot of work.
All temples should always have 5 star rating. I love visiting this temple as it has a special peaceful place where I love to sit down for a few minutes on every visit.
Lovely place. Traditional South Indian temple. Feels like in India. The canteen in the premise is awesome. Authentic South Indian food at very reasonable prices.
One of the best south indian temple in the west. Although, still under development in many aspects, but we always had a pleasant experience visiting this temple
One of the most devotional South Indian temple. Quite and serene place for prayers. Canteen food is over the top as compared to other south Indian restaurant.
Best Tamil Murugan temple in the west and best canteen runs by a group of volunteers. Tamil community should visit once a week, especially Friday or weekend
Temple well managed. Provided free milk for all devotees for abhishekam. Canteen food is delicious and very low cost. Toilets and Canteen are very tidy.
Lord Murugan Thunai! One of the Murugan temples in the west Melbourne. Good spiritual place to go. We recently did the vehicle pooja at this temple.
Very quite place to worship the god but very unfriendly cafe staffs. No smile, no proper ways to serve the food and didn't say the word thanks.
Authentic south Indian temple..Very much calm and Divine place. I like the temple architecture as well as the outside setup of Lord Shiva.
Beautiful South Indian temple, it feels divine and gives us the same feeling as we are in South India. Best to go and worship as a family.
Amazing piece of art and Devotional Satisfaction. Very peaceful. Loved it while I was there. Very well managed. Recommended highly
Very good. Peaceful atmosphere...But Sign Boards to be placed indicating the way to the temple from the main road more Visibly
Poorly managed. Waited for 45mins after the opening time but temple was still closed. Spoke to the priests, they neglected.
Very nice and divine feeling similar to any south indian temples. Approachable roads and ample parking spaces.
Gives you that south Indian temple feel. Looks good after renovations. I wouldn't try the cantene food again.
Very good vibes and well managed temple facility, they also celebrate Ayyappa pooja in a very grand fashion.
Best temple for Tamil people in Melbourne’s West. Very Peaceful and feels like being at home in Tamilnadu.
very peacefull and divine place. South indian type temple. great atmosphere. but hard to access the temple
It would be more helpful if they could update the site about time and days when there is big festival
It's really a very serene ambience. The road to reach the temple is yet under construction
Worth the visit. Still they follow social distancing. Only 20 members inside. Truly divine
Only temple I've ever been in last 14 years where you smell aroma of agar batti and dhoop
