The service was horrendous. They can clearly see us waiting to be seated because we didn’t know it was open seating. So we had to chase down the bartender to ask. They could’ve told us it was open seating once they saw us to save us the time to ask. Secondly, we waited 20 mins before we chased down another server just for the check and to go containers. Our server didn’t bring us a bag so we asked for one. He forgot. We asked the male bartender and he ignored us. And we asked the female bartender that we are running late, our Uber is here to pick us up, and we asked for a to go bag three different times now and we just need some service. She gave me attitude and said “you didn’t ask me.” I know i didn’t ask specifically you, but I asked your colleagues three different times. At least take some responsibility as part of the team and maybe help me find someone that can assistance me? Wow. The whole crew needs to be retrained. They refused to even acknowledge you or look at your table to check to see how you’re doing. I was ignored the entire time from beginning to end. By far the worst dine in service I had ever received. I never write bad reviews but I walked out angry, frustrated, and humiliated.

In the Hilton Inn hotel lobby, I was greeted by a very friendly host and presented with the specials right away (during menu browsing) in the hotel lobby area. I was then seated by the host quickly, and after he waited on me (unexpected but appreciated due to speed of service), he brought me a list of 8 local pubs/restaurants without prompting - excellent customer service! Very impressed - thanks John! His recommendation of mint lamb chops were on point with flavor! I was very impressed to taste such a strong mint, which is exactly how I like my lamb - minty... but 3 of the lamb chops were a bit overcooked, while one of the four were undercooked. Minus one star from the inconsistency of cooking. Their calamari was fairly well seasoned, but the best part was the shrimp and peppers - a lovely heat to them. The sauce is actually mustard base, which is an interesting flavor combination with the seafood. I wouldn't have done the cheese, and it was a bit greasy.. I approve though - kudos for trying something new! Their wine list was just enough for me. I enjoyed it, great Cabernet. Overall, definitely would recommend this place and will try again.

We were with friends from out of town also. We were actually visiting from Phoenix AZ. We needed a place to eat and 'hang out" while waiting for the night bus tour of Washington DC monuments. The l"Enfant Grill and bar in the Hilton hotel is classy and has good food. My wife and I shared a huge club sandwich and a draft Stella beer. Delicious. One drawback was we could not access WiFi without staying at the hotel. We tried. The waiter Salh s was professional, courteous, and personable. There was absolutely no rushing us out of there. Nice atmosphere ad ambiance to eat, drink, and visit with friends. Highly recommend.

Waited a couple minutes until we sat ourselves at a table. Waiter took our order, and then we didn't see him the rest of the night. The margherita pizza was clearly a frozen pizza they threw cherry tomatoes and basil on, one piece of the pizza came from a completely different pizza... We had to go hunt down our own silverware and napkins, and also had to hunt down a waiter for our check. Awful service, mediocre food that was way too expensive. $15 for a frozen pizza, $20 for an ok burger. (Slice of pizza on the right was much darker than the rest of the pizza... also wasn't attached compared to the rest). Would not recommend, and will not return.

The restraunt is very nice with an excellent bar. The ambience is quiet and the foot traffic light considering the location Their burger and club sandwich is as good as anywhere else. The portions are generous $25-$50 will stretch to just just about anything excluding tip ,but you should tip staff and service is very quick and polite.

Two experiences with this restaurant during my stay at the Hilton. My first experience was wanting something sweet and purchasing a piece of cheesecake. The cheesecake came out to be $12. I was extremely disappointed by the size of the cheesecake. It was essentially like a slice of cheesecake you would get at a fast food restaurant. Fast forward the next morning to breakfast. We received an $18 credit as a diamond member. The buffet was $30 total, plus tax, tip etc. The food was very underwhelming. The best part was the bacon. The rest was very mediocre.

I ordered kids chicken tenders meal and club sandwich to take back to eat in our hotel room. Both meals had generous portions and were cooked fresh to order. The bar tender took our order, gave us a 15 min wait time, and then checked back with kitchen to deliver very fresh dinner entrees at given time. Enjoyable experience and would dine here again given the opportunity.

DO NOT IGNORE THE PIZZA REVIEW! The pizza was awful. I believe the took a caky frozen crust, thawed it and put some sauce and cheese on it. They didn't even crisp the bottom. On the other hand their butternut squash ravioli was fantastic! We also had their tater tot nachos. Not bad but really how can you screw those up. They are exactly what I expected. Tots with cheese and some pico. The tots were cooked reasonably well (not mushy)

L'Enfant Bar & Grill was fantastic! My fiance and I stayed at the Hilton for Valentine's Day weekend and had L'Enfant Bar & Grill both nights. We had the pretzel and panini on the first night, then the Valentine's day ribeye special the next night. Everything was so good, and the steak was cooked to perfection. The cocktails were also great! Every staff member was friendly and accommodating. They were also following all precautions with Covid-19, including masks, face shields, gloves, and immediately sanitizing surfaces.

Decent food, but the service can be improved significantly. At first, no one was at the reception and we waited a long time to get seated. Eventually, we had to track down an uninterested server who sat us down and served water (handed to us, pretty rudely). Then no one came to take the food order. We waited a good 20-25 minutes after sitting down. And this when the place wasn't even half full. Could see the servers standing in the distance, gossiping, but never once came to take the order. Horrible service standards.

Bar food and limited entree menu, but food was good, drinks were really good definitely for a hotel restaurant. Service was excellent. 1st night had the burger perfectly cooked, hubs had the pork chop which he devoured. 2nd night Bavarian pretzel and hubs had the quesadilla , both really good. Our martinis were awesome! Expect hotel pricing.

Boy were they trying to cut costs. Pizza seemed like a delicio crust with extra toppings thrown in. Club sandwich said turkey and it was certainly turkey cold cuts. Overall staff was great but if I’m spending $20 a person for a sandwich it should taste good not like processed junk. Good fires though.

The location was very secluded, if you weren't a customer at the Hilton hotel, you wouldn't know it existed. The food was expensive. But overall, it was an ok place.

As others have noted there’s no host… what type of restaurant doesn’t hire a host? The experience was the definition of “OK”. Everything was very mediocre. Take the walk down to the Wharf, I’m positive there are better restaurants there.

Didn't actually get what I ordered but it was close enough and still quite good. Large portions and good for kids. Limited options in the immediate vicinity so this is a safe bet for hotel guests. Excellent service. Prices are DC comparable for casual dining.

The alcohol is good. The food is ok. The service is questionable. The breakfast in the back is good but very spendy.

We didn't know whom to seat us but, once seated the service was excellent. I had the Rotisserie chicken breast . It was cook to perfection. Tender as a mother's love. I loved that the mashed potatoes tasted as if just mashed.

Service was great, the salmon is fantastic. The grilled cheese and turkey club were also very good. The pizza is dry, and fairly flavorless. Would highly recommend the salmon though!
