***SCAMMERS! BEWARE! SCAMMERS! BEWARE! SCAMMERS! BEWARE!*** I needed a new key for my car to be cut and programmed fast and on the same day. The technician Leo said he would be able to do it. When he first came, he tried to SCAM me out of $460 for a new key to be cut and programmed!! He made up all of these ridiculous fake charges and pretended to be sympathetic as if he was doing me a favor. I called the dealership and got a quote saying it would be $180 and after changing my mind to go to the dealership, he was quick to lower the fees. He lowered the fees to $200 and I agreed thinking he could get the job done quick and I would not have to go to the dealership and wait there. He agreed and demanded that I pay him in cash, probably so he could pocket all of the money and not leave a paper trail of his scam. Between the hours of waiting and watching him fail miserably, he ended up not being able to do anything other than cut a copy of a new key for my car. What he actually ended up doing was disabling the entire alarm system on my car and de-programmed the original key so that the lock/unlock buttons would not work anymore. I had to pay him for the key because it was a copy of a key to my car which could unlock and start my car and I could not risk have that in the wrong hands. He made up some excuses saying, "Oh my technician can fix the problem but unfortunately I cannot get him to come out today." Made worthless promises that he would come back and fix the alarm system on my car and re-program my keys. I tried calling him several times and he flat out ignored my calls and ultimately did not deliver on his worthless promises. LONG STORY SHORT: DO NOT RECEIVE ANY SERVICES FROM LEO. He is as dishonest and untrustworthy as they come. He's a know-nothing hack and does not know what he is doing and will only cause you more problems than he's worth. He's a scammer just trying to make a quick buck and unfortunately I was a victim to his illegitimate operation.

I got locked out of my apartment today and called a few locksmiths in LA. They all quoted me around $60 to respond and an additional amount for labor. When I called LLA they told me it would only be $19 to respond and there would be an additional charge for labor. The person on the phone said it would depend on the difficulty in opening the lock so she couldn’t give me an estimate. I told them that was fine and they said there was a technician available immediately. Shortly after hanging up the technician called me giving me a 20 minute ETA. I ended up waiting almost 40 minutes before he arrived. Once he finally did arrive he told me it would be $168. At this point I had been sitting outside my apartment for almost an hour so I just said that was fine, thinking it would be difficult to unlock. In less than 2 minutes, he had my door open. I asked why it cost so much if it was so easy to open. $149 seems completely unreasonable for 2 minutes of work. He told me it was a flat fee the company charged. I’m not sure who lied to me, whether it was the technician who unlocked my door or the person I spoke to on the phone but either way, the company is not trustworthy. The only reason I didn’t give them one star is because they did the job they were supposed to do.

This business is predatory. I was locked out of my car on a cold and rainy night. I found this company and called to ask for a quote. The person that answered the phone told me that the technician would give me a price when they arrived and evaluated the job. They also told me that the technician would call me soon to confirm my location and give me an estimated time of arrival. The technician called me and told me that he would be about 20 min. I then proceed to wait in the rain for around 1 1/2 hours. When he finally shows up, his service was very quick. About 3 min. After he was able to open my car, I was charged $300 for the service! I understand that my call was after hours and that my 2002 VW might have "higher security" but the job took 3 minutes. After I reluctantly paid the bill I called LLA to ask about one of the items on the receipt because of how vague and expensive it was ($180) and was met with the incompetent response of "the charges that are listed are not for you or me to understand." The woman I was speaking to then put me on hold for 20 minutes and then hung up.

unproffesional.. waited for an hour to get to my place.. first of all uses a transparent board to try opeing my door , i was like howncome u used those indtead of keys and those other big wider things .. he said he have everything.. use other tools key with matching a other tools to hammer it down.. afterwards i ask how it will bw charged sincw theres nonuse of trying no more since it dont open. andhe said it will be opwn when he uses drilled...the lady on the phone tells me will be charged $15 for the labor and will be depends when the person open it.. but once u ask him ill be charged $65dollar and he will be walking out without opening it and when u ask him whre the $15 dollar go instead $65 tells me i have to pay for the gas thats why? and if he drilled it i will be charged $165 for the drill and it will be open.. things doesnt make sense... i get over it and just ask him to drilled it its past midnight.. hoepfully some ppl ask them first hoe they will be really charged and dont take things for them to tell you it will depend cuz theyll ripped you off !!

Leo single-handedly saved our Thanksgiving. We locked our key, along with our entire Thanksgiving dinner in the trunk while heading to a celebration. We called my insurance company, we called the car dealership, we called AAA. NOBODY could help us, and they all gave us roundabout responses such as, "we can only guarantee getting into the cabin, and since your car model doesn't have trunk access, there is no way to get your key," or "the only way is to pay $500 for a new key which will be delivered in five business days." After a full day of stressing and being passed around from dealership to roadside assistance with no help, we called Leo. He arrived ASAP, assured us that the dealership had no idea what they were talking about, and proceeded to open the cabin AND THE TRUNK in LESS THAN FIVE MINUTES. Leo saved our holiday and charged us less than the dealership. Will ABSOLUTELY recommend him and use him again.

Locked my keys in my apartment around 11pm and my apartment manager was offsite so I had to call for help. I asked for a quote, but they wouldn't give me one over the phone... "we'd have to know what kind of lock it is." Locksmith showed up, looked at the lock, and told me it would be $279 dollars because "it was late night on a Sunday." It only took about 5 min to get my door open. Should I have insisted on a quote before they showed up? Yes. Am I stupid for locking my keys in my apartment? Definitely. Should they have given me a quote beforehand. Yup. Should they have exploited the situation and overcharged for a simple service? Definitely not. If you're considering using this service, demand a quote in advance, and make sure to shop around. Locksmith was friendly though so... I guess thats nice?

Called around 9am and scheduled an appointment to meet me at my car at 11am. Had lost key and FOB and couldn’t get my car to operate. Should have been suspicious immediately - asked how much it would cost and was told “I don’t know - I have to see the car first.” Drove 1 1/2 hours to get my car. It was in a rough neighborhood in downtown L.A. A few minutes after 11am and he wasn’t there I called and asked when he would arrive. “On my way - be there in a few minutes.” Around 11:30am, he still wasn’t there and called again and was told he was 10-15 minutes away. Still no show. Called about 10 minutes til noon to be told he was in “bumper-to-bumper” traffic and it would still be another 15-20 minutes. In between the last call and calling him back to cancel I was able to get someone out to help me.

Pros: We got locked out of our apartment and they arrived within 20 minutes. Cons: because the guy couldn’t “successfully” pick the lock, we had to pay $244!!!! It’s not a high tech lock it was a simple door knob... I feel like we got played because the “pick the lock” fee was $189 (still high) but if he had to replace it it cost $244. Anyway, I gave it 3 stars because unlocking someone’s apartment door should NEVER be that expensive ON A SIMPLE DOOR KNOB and the company took full advantage of our situation.

This guy charged me $275 to fix a problem that didn’t need to be fixed. He talked to me in a way which made me think he was solving the problem— In other words, he took advantage of the fact that I know nothing about locks etc. Long story short, I paid for a lock on a door that still won’t lock. Knowing what I was asking for vs. what needed to be done, this guy played me. Shame on him. I will never use this locksmith and I encourage anyone who reads this review to look elsewhere.

This is a hard one to rate. They are efficient, fast and nice but they are double the price of other Lock Smith’s . I called them because they were close. To get into my apartment was $185. After my experience with them I googled others further away and they were charging between $85 - $105. If you want good, fast service they do well but watch your money fly away

I absolutely loved using this service! My key snapped in my lock and I was in trouble. The locksmith who came to save the day, Leo, was an absolute sweetheart. He was in and out in 20 minutes at most, was your kind to my animals, and was just so super cool. I highly recommend him to all and will be referring him to anyone who needs his kind of help.

Leo is a fraud and will cost you more money at the end. He does not specialize in replacing car keys as sated on his website. He deserves no stars, after he dismantled the entire steering cloumn he stated he couldn't do it. Now it's a $1300 job. If you need to replace your key just go to the dealer...Leo is very unprofessional and fraudulent.

someone stole my Prius key and my wallet so I knew I had to get on the task of reprogramming my FOB keys. the toyota dealership quoted me 600+ bucks, and told me it would take 3-4 hours. Lior came to my place and did it in 16 minutes. If you like charming, sweet Israeli dudes and you're locked out of your house, he's your man.

We locked our keys in our apartment and He was straight up about the process and how long it would take.. he said it could take up to an hour, and lever doors are the hardest to get into... low and behold... not 3 minutes later! BOOM door was open, and we were inside. Quality speedy service, thank you lior!

If you own a luxury car, this isn’t your locksmith. I inquired about programming a car key (I had a key, just needed it to be programmed) and the estimate was more than $500 when the dealership estimated $250. And the guy on the phone was super obnoxious and was talking down on me like I’d never owned a car.

I was a good 20 hour drive from home, in an area I didn't know and they were super friendly and welcoming! Most efficient too! I lost my keys and they had me back on the road in less than 30 minutes after they arrived! I would definitely recommend them!

Dont use this place. When you get locked out and call them up, they act super unenthusiastic, asked you millions of questions before they give you the price. And even then, it’s inaccurate, and they try to charge you extra after they come over.
