I use to love going to this place, but after today NEVER again! The lack of costumer service and high prices were something I could deal with because the quality of food was good. But today I was one of the first people there and my order took about 40 mins and several questions on to where my order was. Once I got my order is was totally wrong and missing items. I was hungry and frustrated so just took the food. The food wasn’t even as good. The barbacoa was dry and the beans tasted rancid. Also the bread wasn’t fresh like it usually is. They did have more people than usual. Maybe they aren’t equipped to handle all the new business they’re getting bc quality has gone down.

This place used to be really good long time ago. But recently management has changed and they hire alot of rude employees. The cooking ladies are ok but man they mess up your order all the time. They have no high chair for toddlers so makes it nearly impossible to eat there. There tables are always dirty and if you ask them to clean them the lady in the bread area always gets upset. Their restroom are so gross. So disappointed this used to be our go to place but unfortunately they have gone down big time. Their sweet bread is still good though.

This bakery was recommended by a friend and it was the best decision ever! The baker created our cake just the way I wanted for my Navy Veteran son's welcome home dinner. After 5 years of service, he's finally home! The cake was so moist and fluffy with fresh fruit filling. The fondant and the detail were on point! And she added chocolate dipped strawberries as a garnish which I didn't even ask for but I totally appreciated it. She made this cake look so classy and professional. So yummy...i will definitely be going back!

This place will always be my favorite Mexican restaurant/bakery. Their sweet bread is a 5, will never disappoint. The food is as close to my moms cooking as it gets. Service is very slow but to their defense they do make your eggs when you order unlike other places that just keep their eggs warm. Either way it being slow and staff not the friendliest i deducted 1 star. You can always call in order ahead of time to get around this. Also its not the cheapest but really that doesn't matter to me after i take the first bite.

Extremely disappointed and Grossed out, We went in this Morning for Breakfast the egg for the breakfast Tacos was extremely dry and tasteless. I cannot believe that the woman that served us was eating behind the counter and wiping her mouth with her hand, I stopped eating immediately,. As I continued to watch this employee that was already breaking Health Department rules and regulations she NEVER washed her hand's and continued to serve customers.. Not good.. No wonder it's always empty in here..unsatisfied customer..

Parking is small inside the place is not too small they have chairs and tables where you can sit and eat the staff are friendly even if you're like me and don't know a whole lot of Spanish they still helped me the sweet bread was fresh and taste really good I got breakfast tacos the next morning and they were delicious they even had barbacoa breakfast tacos and those were really good that was my first time there and this morning was my second time and I will be going back love the place

Oh my goodness!! Their cookies are amazing! The ones we purchased were Easter themed. The icing was super smooth and even. The facial details were hand drawn. The cookies weren’t too soft to where they would crumble apart and they weren’t too hard to where you felt you’d break a tooth. They were perfect! And I may be wrong but I caught a hint of lemon. Nothing overpowering in flavor and no bad after taste. We will definitely buy more! ❤️❤️❤️

The food is incredible and the staff is nice but too slow. Sometimes I order by phone since I only have 30 min lunch and when I get there the order was not given to the cooks. So there goes 10 minutes. Just an advice I think the kitchen should have a phone were they can take orders instead of waiting for the cashier to finish the line of customers and then like 10 minutes later she turns in the order. Come on....common sense.

This as close to "Mexican Grandmas" home cooking as you will get, go for the food, not for service. The food is excellent, best menudo in town, the bread is fresh and tortillas are soft. If you want wait service such as Le Peep or Picos, then go there. Go to La Victoria for one of the best home-cooked taste meals you can buy.

I’ve been going there for years ! Never have been disappointed, but I’ve noticed the difference in the empanadas there not the same nor the little pigs ! They must of changed baker’s! But I still go it’s my favorite and my mom always took us there! The ladies always took good care of her . God rest her soul!

Personnel has always been extremely rude when trying to order a specialty cake. They dont want to help you with questions, make up answers instead of getting a manager, and give advice to discourage you from ordering a specialty cake, however. The bread and slices of cake are very delicious.

Been going to this Gem since I can remember. The Mexican bread is made from scratch and never disappoints. When u walk inn, the smell just overwhelms u. It's like walking into a theater and smelling the popcorn. In other words u have to buy some. P.S THE CUERNITO DE AZUCAR IS MY FAVORITE

So I have to say, when it comes to pastries, I'm picky. This bakery does not only have the best thumbprints I've ever tasted, but their brownies are heaven! Please stop by and treat yoself to a brownie. Warm it up, put a scoop of ice cream on top and your worries will melt away.

Just type in La Victoria Bakery on Maps and your pics of the bakery are there. I still say it's the best in town! Been going there since 1991. And if you're hungry. The kitchen is to your left. Just order a couple of tacos to go or have a seat. Enjoy ! …

I had not tried this bakery & I live 5 minutes away from it but let me tell you I can honestly say I think it is way better than el El Bolillo, Arandas etc the bread is always so soft. I dont like conchas but their conchas are delicious. Best bakery !

I love the place , but Everytime i want to go i need to call and make sure they are still open cause the web says 7pm they close but nope they close earlier and it varies . They need to get it together with the time .

  • Hector Vega

Food was flavorless and the bread was stale. Ladies in the kitchen and register are very uncoordinated, it seems like they don't want to take the extra steps to get the receipt from the counter or vice-versa. The o

My wife and I enjoyed the bakery. My wife used to go there when she was a young girl. Prices are great as they also serve breakfast and lunch. Very clean inside also. We will be going for breakfast too.

This is a great place to catch a bite! Friendly staff, great food as well as all the yummy pastries!! You can't go wrong! This place has been here for years...and they're still getting it right!!

  • Alan Shultz

Super friendly and helpful staff. I always have my go-to favorite pan dulce, but the staff are great at recommendations if you don't know what to get! Can't wait to go back and try the hot bar.

Simply amazing. The chocolate glazed donut is the best we’ve found in the WORLD. One in Belgium came very close but none other. The staff are awesome. We eat here everyone we come to Houston!!

  • Christina Ngo

Handmade, fresh flour tortillas really make a difference. First time here and I’ll definitely come back if I’m in the area. Pastry is good too, made with love by the ladies in the kitchen!

  • Aaron R. (7th sage of Sabian)

Awesome food! Great tacos, and Chile rellanos. Amazing pan dulce! Friendly employees, authentic atmosphere, imported sodas, and all the salsa and extras you could want.

  • Margaret Moody

BEST CHOCOLATE DONUTS on earth! Also amazing breakfasts made by amazing ladies. It’s our must eat place for breakfast every time we are in the area. HIGHLY recommend!
