GREAT AS ALWAYS.. Been getting takeaway from Laddas since 2005. Great food, great prices decent serving sizes.. Fresh ingredients all prepared right in front of you. Best Thai Takeaway in Newtown in my humble opinion. If you haven't tried it I suggest you give it a whirl i don't think you will be disappointed.

Ladda’s is a takeaway restaurant with the option of sitting in. It is not a eat-in restaurant so please don’t assume so or let it cloud your judgement of this place. Their priority is the food and it shows. The food is fresh and it is tasty. The people making it are friendly and genuine. It’s affordable and the portion sizes are generous. I have many fond memories running up to put in an order before it closed or sitting in and having a laugh with my housemate as he scoffed their delicious duck curry. Keep up the good work!

Cozy little takeaway on the end of King St. Ordered pad Thai, fried rice and spring rolls. The pad Thai had that nice char to it but was too sweet for my preference. The fried rice was excellent with a great mix of veggies and not too oily. The spring rolls were crispy and tasted house made, quite large and filling. The staff were very friendly and seems to have a lot of regulars coming in. Price was reasonable as well. There not a ton of seating so more for takeaway.

Pad thai chicken - not the best but not bad at all. Just okay Sweet & sour fish - I loved it not too sour and not too sweet. It's perfect Fried rice noodles with chicken - I was disappointed coz it's almost like pad see ew. Can't tell the difference to be honest. I was expecting crispy noodles Hence, ⭐️⭐️⭐️ overall.

Delicious Thai food in a simple setting. Rice could be hotter if served last. I love the Thai sukiyaki and Stir fried egg plant. We are here two times and hope the prices stay the same or go down as the ingredients' costs decrease.

I first found Ladda's back in 1998 when I lived in Alice St Newtown and we became firm regulars. Fast forward 23 years and I popped in last week for the first time in ages as no longer in area. Wow. Ladda still there cooking, same delicious smells and perfectly cooked dishes. It was like coming home all over again. Food made with love. Don't miss it!

Love this place. My absolute fave pad thai! Noodles with mince beef and chilli is pretty good too (spicy though) Fish cakes are delicious too, must be the lemongrass or something Cheap, friendly, consistently great food. Just wish they were closer to the middle of Newtown, so I can order pad thai more often Thank you so so much!

Tiny Thai shop, doing mostly take away. All the curry dishes are fabulous! Just so tasty and smooth. The small portion, $9/$11, is actually enough for an adult, and this combined with "dinner special" menu for eating in customers is one of the best value for money. Hidden treasure discovered.

I just ordered a meal from Ladda's The Thai Takeaway. It tastes like it is covered in vinegar. I phoned and requested a refund, to which the owner replied, "I've cooked hundreds of these meals and no problem". I requested again, to which she replied, "I'm too busy". Then she hung up!

Best Thai in the southern hemisphere, the panang and curry puffs are out of this world. A grade service, enormous sizes and the kind of consistent quality that makes you keep coming back for more. It’s really climbing the “ladda” of the world’s finest Thai dining experiences :,)

They put meat into my vegetable laksa! I had to throw it away. They need to make their vegan options more clear on deliveroo. You would think that it would be safe to order a vegetable laksa but you can never be too careful. If you are vegan avoid this place!

Great food at great prices. The flavours are amazing - one of the best for Thai food in Sydney! Staff are great - my son has a severe allergy and they make meals especially for him! Having been going here for many years and the quality has never wavered.

A secret gem hidden in Sydney inner suburbs. Aunty Ladda is very friendly. The green curry is my favourite, authentic flavour. Big portion with a small amount. Highly recommend their lunch special on Mon-Sat, perfect for a quick stop lunch

Last order from Ladda. The website is so out of date and not working properly. Incorrect orders and now lost orders. Enough. No updates to the website in 10 years pretty much and NO change to the menu. Sorry Ladda but your time is over.

Every dish of food I haven't eaten from ladde's is the best Thai food I have eaten. It reminds me of Thailand. I give it a 10 out of 10 the service is so friendly you are treated like family. You can eat in or you can get takeaway.

Great service and the food is great. Had lunch with my kids who loved the food. We ordered a plate each which in hindsight was probably too much as portions are very generous. 4 dishes costed us around $40.

Such a unique and strange pull this place gots. I just became emotional attached at the instance with everything. The foods can touch soul. My definitely new favourite go to.

I've been eating at Laddas since 1992. It has been the best Thai restaurant since then. Others come and go, Laddas remains perfect. The tom yum goom and fishcakes are best.

I love Ladda's. The food is always really fresh, full of flavour and they don't scrimp on the meat! Staff are also lovely and greet customers with a smile. Top marks.

Worst service and need patience for food. I had to wait 30mins for my order. When I checked for my order, they gave me an excuse saying that they forgot the order.

I've ordered home delivery a couple of times. First time was quite good. Second time, green curry was full of oil and almost inedible. I don't think I'll be back.
