Was to Osteopathic Mygna for the second time.Since almost all my family members had been going to her regularly so I had no choice to stay lazy when pain does not get diagnosed. Let my better half tell her story how physicians were helpless to cure her and now she is cured 100 pc. Earlier the way wife (who is herself a science teacher) explained me how well Mygna, knows her subject made both of us to suggest to so many acquaintances (probably 25 in 3 months) to consult her. And to see them relieved of pain was very satisfying.A beautiful lady to mention one,with no pain left,vested to thank us and hugged me though in her religion that is less accepted. One of my other friend even said there is no need to tell Mygna where is the pain.She will touch your body and will know on her own. Telling my own story,while getting myself treated from her about my pain on right side of back(in this second visit) ,I casusally mentioned her that there is pain at the lower abdomen which I was rationalizing myself as if I am to get operated now for Hernia. You will see that once you tells her ,her brain after listening takes to the right spot.And man even that pain has gone. And above she is down to earth lady who loves what she is doing and can speak endless on the subject she loves. Till wife did not get herself treated from her it was a fact that since I did not understand alternative medicine so it was pseudoscience. I have grabbed the visiting cards of all those RMPs in eco Lella.And exploring more on their field. My regards for the owner has increased multi fold as he probably looks for the best person in each field and gives them laissez faire environment to work independently. My praising Mygna is not to under estimate other professionals visiting the spa as I have been only to her.You guys need to give me feedback in return to whom so you visit. [I have taken my 93 years old dad to Adam once and he too sounds pretty good.] To end I may say there is no complacency and to move forward and: Had I been in place of the owner I would have been planning to open an Osteopathic institute in long run where Mygna is a visiting professor giving lectures to medical professionals.Before that I would have put her mutiple lectures videos on you tube for awareness of what she does. The review I have given as a layman and I will ask my wife to supplement it but independently with her bio.background. Cheers.

I specifically requested a relaxation massage and had the conversation with the therapist right before my massage with her. Instead I received a very uncomfortable massage which was more deep tissue and was not enjoyable whatsoever. I had just recently lost my job and was looking that day for a very relaxing massage to help with my mental state of mind. In addition to not being comfortable, I was made very aware by the therapist throughout my massage of all the things I should be doing such as stretching, and coming for more regular massages etc. I left the massage feeling more upset about my physical condition and stressed out then when I came in. Benefits only covered $100 and I had to pay an additional 15, then an additional 20.00 for parking downtown. Not worth it at all. The massage therapist seemed very knowledgeable and would have provided a very therapeutic deep tissue massage if that’s what I was looking for but the reality is that day I simply wanted something relaxing and she didn’t listen to my request. Highly disappointed.

I went twice to this Spa at lunch time and it was, at best, ok. The first time, I had a cupping massage and the therapist was hurting me. The cups were pinching me and I repeatedly told the therapist it was painful. It's only when I tensed up, lifting myself from the bed and yelped in pain, that she finally changed the strength and position of the cup. Afterwards, I could tell something had gone wrong as the marks left on my back were actual bruises (blue/purple in colour) compared to the usual deep red suction marks. The second time was for a customized massage. The therapist was good, although she kept trying to sell me follow-up appointments: we had not started the treatment she was pushing for another service. Perhaps checking whether I actually needed a follow-up would have been reasonable? At least, it would have been appreciated... Both time, the front desk lady was polite, direct and clear.

After going to the wrong location the staff was very accommodating and willing to take me late. My masseuse did a wonderful job. I was really disappointed however that throughout the entire massage I could hear construction above my head. Imagine trying to relax your body and mind with the rumble of a jackhammer above you. The masseuse did her best to mask it by providing me with headphones, but you could still hear it all. Had I been made aware of the construction, I would have without a doubt booked at their bridgeland location. What was somewhat frustrating was when I tried bringing up the construction to the front desk staff expecting an apology, I heard about how it stopped for a while and today it was worse than it has been lately. I may return to Leela Eco Spa as the massage was wonderful and I support their vision, but I don't think I'll ever go to the downtown location again.

Was able to be booked in for a short notice appointment, which was great! The atmosphere of the spa is not what we anticipated. Felt identical to that of an airport massage studio - small, loud, and without the usual spa amenities (spa lounge, bathrooms, etc). The prices at this Leela location are the same as the other locations which offer these amenities, without the same benefits. The spa doesn’t have a washroom, you have to use the communal restroom in the +15 hallway. The treatment rooms were plain, but quaint. Wouldn’t recommend visiting - but would return to the Beltline location, which is a drastically different experience. Our treatments started 10 minutes late, but ended right at the scheduled time (didn’t extend 10 minutes) which does affect the overall experience.

We've never been to any Leela Eco Spa location before but they had availability for a couple's massage the night prior to our appointment! We were welcomed warmly on arrival, took a seat and were brought to the room at the appointment time. We picked Myra for my wife as she has experience working with people with autoimmune issues which she deals with and I had Samantha. Our 90 minute massages went too quick and were happy with the quality of massage as they both adjusted as needed. I was happy with the value of the massage but didn't appreciate that they don't cover parking at the parkade in the building (so budget another $40 onto your massage cost if driving). Additionally no sauna rooms or anything else to use.

Every therapist, every treatment, every appointment are consistently of the highest quality at Leela Eco Spa - Calgary Place. The reception staff are friendly and fast, the online booking system is thorough and outlines the vast array of therapies available. I have been treated by Mynga To for a year now, scheduling semi-monthly appointments for pain relief and general maintenance. Mynga's intentional and inquisitive approach to osteopathy and massage have helped me increase mobility and performance in the gym and at the office. My wife has started scheduling appointments with Mynga as well. I'm so very pleased that we found Mynga because we really think she has superpowers!

I was previously treated well by Ashley McElgunn at Leela Spa’s old location so after suffering with severe neck and pack pains for over a week, I decided to visit again. Ashley was personable and professional as usual which immediately helped to reduce my tension. The treatment itself was very relaxing with the right amount of pressure applied to my problem areas. Within two days of my treatment, I experienced a noticeable significant reduction of pain. The new location is still easy to access via the Plus15 and the space is comfortable. I will definitely visit again soon as I try to do better at scheduling personal health maintenance. Cheers! Owen

My daughter and I went for massages for her birthday and though my 10yr old was scared being her 1st massage and at that age of being vulnerable... Myphuong was amazing! She was calm & fun for her 1st experience. So much so she asked to go more often cause it calmed her right down. As she suffers from anxiety. I never truly thought the impact massage has on anxiety for children until this day. She was able to fully enjoy the rest of her day without being overly excited for “what’s next” but enjoying each moment. Heartwarming to see the after effects. She’s asked to see Myphuong again. As a mama that’s a win!! Thank you so much!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my entire first-time experience at Leela Downtown. From accommodating my same-day massage request to the enjoyable waiting room area and service. Both the front-desk lady and my therapist were so welcoming that I really look forward to my next visit. The massage therapy that Jamie did was perfect - strong and deep, alleviating a lot of tight muscle pain and stress, not to mention the easy and enjoyable conversation we had for the entire hour. I really enjoyed my whole experience and will be back for more, so long as Jamie still practices there. She's an asset to Leela.

They only do reservations and when doing reservation you need to share credit card details so incase if you cancel or no show they can charge you the entire amount. I wouldn't have visited this place if they have not covered it in my insurance. The RMT looked not so friendly even though she gave a good message it was not amazing and she didn't complete the massage I felt like cheated as they didn't give me full time, I reached late so they deducted that time from massage time but charged me full. May be I'll try other places and see but definitely I do not recommend.

I went for a couples massage and my massage therapist was Katrina and my boyfriend had Joy. Katrina was amaaaaaaaaazing. She made sure I was comfortable with the pressure at all times and provided such a relaxing massage. She customized my massage based on my concerns and even used a little bit of cupping on me. My boyfriend really enjoyed his thai massage from Joy. The facilities were very clean and we were offered water/coffee/tea promptly upon arrival. We will definitely be coming back!

Booked 90 minute massage - 17 Ave. Christa Post (RMT) was quite good - really worked on those 'painful' knotted muscles. Reception was friendly. Nothing 'special' about the room - the bed wasn't great though...the 'doughnut' face pillow was very hard and the base of the bed (wood) didn't line up with the mattress and that's where my chin 'rested' on...ouch. The sheets weren't warmed up and the sheets and bedding weren't 'cozy'. No shower was offered after.

I had a great experience with Nicole today. She was very knowledgable and listened to what I needed and wanted. She made me feel comfortable and like she really cared. I felt a lot of tension and I felt great leaving....almost to good I could fall asleep! Stephanie was also so sweet at the front desk. I will be back for another Massage soon (A 90 minute one, as that went way too fast and felt way too good). Thanks ladies!

One hour appointment was cut to 50 minutes. Quite disappointing. Would never have thought of going back..but the manager called in after i left an email review and offered to make amendments with a deal. Since they are open to improving..will go back. Will surely be watchful of the time.. and suggest the same for others to do. A few minutes cut is acceptable. Ideally the massage time should be a full 60 minutes!

I was in town for a business trip and the location was really convenient as was Being open in the later evening hours. It allowed me to get a massage after I had dinner with colleagues. The massage itself was one of the most relaxing I've ever had! Karen was very professional and really helped relieve the pain in my back. I will for sure be coming back to Leela Eco Spa next time I'm in Calgary for business.

I had a massage about two weeks ago got a appointment last minute. The massage place was clean and massage therapist was friendly. Had 45 minute massage booked focused on shoulders and neck. At the end without any warning she took a towel and and pulled back with towel on my neck pulled back causing a strained necked pinched a nerve in neck causing treatment need feel better.

Annie Doan is an amazing massage therapist. I work out 6 days a week (sometimes 2x per day) and my body is a wreck by the end of the week. The only person that I trust to loosen my muscles is Annie. She knows exactly what to do to alleviate any tension and heals my injury plagued areas. By the next day, I'm ready to crush another 6 days of head workouts thanks to Annie!

I booked a 60 minute massage and when I showed up, I was greeted by the owner and the therapist. It was fantastic service. Meghan, my therapist, was very professional and had a calming demeanor. Once my massage was finished I felt relaxed and rejuvenated. The Spa is not just for clients of the hotel, it's open to the public and I would recommend it to anyone!

Excellent massage experience here. I had an hour long session with Samira. She is strong and effective. I haven't felt this good in a long time. I also enjoyed the LoFi music instead of the typical cheesy massage muzak. They were able to direct bill to Manulife which was nice. It was $105 including tax. I wish I lived closer so I return more often.

My friend referred me to Leela for a Pre Natal Massage and it was magic. Jamie gave me the best massage I’ve had in years. My former MT went on leave for Bursitis and I’ve been searching for the right fit since. I’ve found her! The Downtown location is awesome for popping in during the workday since I already have a little at home. So happy!

Very pleasant and tons of amenities compared to other places. There is a locker room to store your stuff and towel / robe provided. Facilities for shower after massage is a great touch. Coffee/tea/water and light snack provided. Excellent lounge area and very professional staff. Will even direct bill your services provider. 100% recommend.

Was having a great experience until I gt the bill. They overcharged me by $57.50. It took almost 3 weeks of going back to the spa to try to recover the money for the overcharge.I went to have a manicure and was charged for lash tinting and eyebrow tinting that I didn't even receive. So be careful too pay attention to your bill.

My bff & I went for the whole thing!!! Our massages were AMAZING, incredibly relaxing!!! Facials were lovely & a relaxing experience for both of us. Pedicures were fun & hilarious ladies… however attention to detail (polish was messed up & ended up on my slides) Overall fantastic experience!!! Would definitely recommend

From the moment of booking, to their curtesy call and email confirmation to the welcome experience everything was very professional. I was able to get in for a last minute customized massage with Adam. I’m happy to say this was the best massage I’ve had in Calgary. The atmosphere and ambience were great and the cost is very lower for what they offer. I highly suggest a visit to this Leela Spa attached to the International hotel.

Service was nice and staff are pleasant, however my pedicure was cut short by over 20 minutes…I specifically paid for the longer treatment (organic Eminence pedicure) only to be disappointed. Treatment was decent but I was pretty disappointed when I realized she finished over 20 minutes early.

I had an Osteopathy Assessment with Mynga and found her friendly and knowledgeable. She had a professional manner and was very skilled at her profession. I will definitely be going back. Also, found the rest of the staff at Leela Eco Spa welcoming and I loved the atmosphere of the spa.

I had originally given two stars after a bad experience getting a facial at the Beltline location but I was contacted by Leela and offered a complimentary service at the Bridgeland Boutique location which was fantastic. I can't recommend Emily enough. Amazing facial, great personality.

A lovely spa and the staff were great. My only complaint is that it is sooo dark! Picking out nail polish was very difficult so when I got home it was kind of a surprise! Maybe invest in some more lighting? … especially for those that aren’t kids anymore? …

I had a back/neck massage this past week and this is the best my body has felt in months. Jessica did absolute wonders and was amazing! Not to mention Mikaela up front is just the best and seeing her is reason enough to come back!! Highly recommend Leela spa!!

I got a prenatal massage from Annie and it was amazing. She uses firm pressure, listens to your needs, and spent time on all my problem areas. I left feeling relaxed. She even called me the next day to see how I was doing! Such good service! I'll be back!

Me and my wife got the best couples massages. Watch out that you tip on the full amount of the massage. I tiped on the remainder of the bill after the direat billing so I need to scoot by again and drop off the rest of the tip because they deserve it!!
