The music and atmosphere is worth every moment! The culture of the African people is alive and well. It was a true pleasure and a bit of relief to be in that space today. No violence, no looking over my shoulder for police harassing anyone, kids running and playing and dancing. A blessing to be experienced by all. …

We enjoyed the snow ❄ slides at the park. Kidos had a wonderful time sliding over and over. There is plenty of parking spaces and bathrooms available just in case. If you're looking for some outdoor activities, this is a great place to go to. Thank you to the people or authorities who made it possible. …

Juneteenth event. A little too crowded and it was touted as a family event as many of the booths sold children's clothes books and toys. But I guess everyone is ok with thier kids catching a contact buzz from all the pot being smoked everywhere. I myself prefer the crack. But next year I will go again

Awesome place to experience true community and culture in LA. They do an African dance class in the plaza every Saturday around 11 am. Come check it out then stroll thru the market. Great spot to support black-owned businesses. Everyone was extremely friendly and kind.

Small park in the center of Leimert Park neighborhood. The park is just a green space and a few benches, and it wasn't even open when I passed it on in an early morning. There are some nice local business around so it could be a great place to be during the day.

Shameful what happened here recently in which a celebration caused a bunch of unruly teens to destroy and steal a cash register from the nearby McDonalds on Crenshaw (per viral video). I feel bad for the hard working employees of that McDonalds!!

Went drivetru and the person at window was as Dry as the chicken. Ordered the new salad and was a waste of money. Even the presentation of the salad was bad. First time to visit this location on Crenshaw. Will stick to the Westside with

It's Leimert Park. If you don't already know about it, you probably don't belong there. Gentrifiers - stay away.
