I opened a account at Mica which funds are sourced from Nedbank. It was never explained to me that all the funds must be utilized at the store and no balance funds will be sent to my account, as a consumer I have a right to "disclosure of information". I don't understand how because at the end of the day I will be the one paying the loan and interest. How is the store making decisions for me to forcefully purchase at the store? What's even worse is what I am willing to purchase (because they want to squeeze all my the money) is not available in stock now I am forced to purchase what I don't want? I have the right to choice. Now I am requesting the store to send me the balance of R2200 into my account so I can purchase it elsewhere. They say it's not possible. Mica is now in possession of power and they have the funds in their account and cannot transfer a mere R2200 back after I've spent +- R27K at their store? Ridiculous. I want the R2200 back I don't like the ceiling designs you have at the store, my contractors want to finish working by this Wednesday and my material is going to be damaged by rain. Nedbank should consider sending money into the consumer's accounts because once the store is in position of power they bully consumers. At the end of the day I want my house to look like how I want not what Mica has available in stock. Consumers be aware. Ask questions before you open that account.

i am a cotractor i brought two shower door that was on promotion in march i took advantage at the time because i just started building and now i am in the final stage with the finishings today when we where fitting the shower doors i then rialized that they gave me one pivot door and the other was a fixed panel i then went to them and i had misplaced my invoice i explained to the manager about my problem and he said if i dont have the invoice he can not swap the incorrect good that his staff gave me as if i took it from the shelf yet i paid at the till and was refered to go and collect at the back where again it was loaded by his staff i was very disapointed and to think i lost a day by the error that was done by his store

I bought Windows and sliding on the 10th of November, today is the 23rd and I have not my 5 sliding doors and side light including one window. I called the guy called Salim. He said he will call me back after checking with their supplier but he did not. A week ago i went there to check it was then when he placed an order. During the date of purchase he told me that all things were available but when he delivered the next day things were mising but they wrote them down and wanted my neighbor to sign them off as if they were delivered.

Service in this place is terribly poor. The lady at the service desk...ooh my God..what a terrible employee....I've gone to this place more than once and twice she was busy on her phone and when I wanted service.. She simply said...just look for anyone on the floor they will help you...what a pathetic service...i left this outlet and drove a kilometer to Micabuild just a kilometer from this outlet and was assisted by Tumi who provided a great service.

Great range of hardware, tools and supplies. Customer service from floor staff is always excellent, they are helpful and friendly. The tellers could however learn to smile and greet customers. Management are always at hand to assist. Pricing is on the high side though, but still worth it.

This place has many staff who cannot assist you with anything. Everyone has the same explanation that I don't work with this item and I will get someone to assist. You will never see or hear from them again. This is an ongoing problem as this happens almost every time I visit this place.

I am really grateful to the knowledgeable salesman Memo who patiently helped me this Friday to ensure that I went home with the right supplies for my project. Thank you for excellent customer service. Not forgetting the friendly service at the cashier as well.

The Mica Store is well stocked. Unfortunately the assistants are few and one has to wait to be served especially in the plumbing department. The Unslotted basin traps are marked as Unslotted however when you get home it's slotted.

They do not have certain products that they advertise for and I have been told it still needs to be ordered. I have also asked to get a call once those items are instock. Its been 2 months and I'm still waiting

Helped quite efficiently with getting compost. Enquiry with regards to roof insulation was the opposite unfortunately. Could not give me a size, width or price on Aerolite. Staff simply says he does not know.
