Went into Leon’s Cross Iron in August to purchase a new bedroom suite. The salesperson who assisted us named Karan, was extremely helpful. We were trying to decide between 2 suites we liked and Karan was helpful in answering questions about how the furniture was made, delivery times and cost difference. He also wasn’t a “lurker” hanging around while my husband and I wanted to chat privately. He did not try to pressure us and simply assisted us when we needed him to. Ultimately we decided to go with a suite we didn’t initially look at, as we saw it on our way out and fell in love with it. We flagged down Karan, who was again very helpful and kind, in answering all our questions. We were advised that some pieces for the suite were available almost immediately and that others may take till October to arrive. Since we weren’t in a rush, this was no big deal for us and we decided to wait to have all pieces delivered at one time. (We did have the option to have the pieces delivered at different times as they arrived, and for FREE, but we chose to wait) Karan also explained that after delivery he would apply a 15% discount as Leon’s has what’s called “Price Match Guarantee” and he knew there would be a promotion on the suite we chose, in the following weeks after we purchased it. Our furniture was delivered in October. No damages and all pieces included. The only thing “negative” I can say about our experience was that the delivery was 2.5 hours later than our delivery time window. A little frustrating, but these poor guys were working their butts off very hard. Making a ton of deliveries that day and so I cut them some slack. Haha (Reason for the 4 stars) Oh, the delivery portal is neat. You can see how many deliveries are ahead of you. Lastly, Karan was VERY responsive whenever I texted him with any questions or concerns after we made our purchase leading up to delivery. He responded same day. Oh and also, Leon’s did give us the 15% back after delivery. All I had to do was call and they refunded my credit card. It took about a week, but again, no rush. Overall, great service and happy with our purchase. Leon’s, if you’re reading this, give Karan at the CrossIron location a raise!! He deserves it.

This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with furniture or with a company in general. They sent me the wrong configuration for my couch, tried to tell my bf and I that we chose this- we did not we measured our house specifically for the floor model we sat on. Tried to tell me to pay a restock fee. Convinced them not to as that’s asinine after spending nearly 1500 with comprehensive coverage included (only positive so far was them waiving the fee) was told my couch would hopefully be there within a month. I come to see the new receipt it says it will arrive in THREE MONTHS. At this point I’m enraged, we needed this couch before October 1st which is why we purchased it in august with the intent of it being here in September which great, the wrong one was. I call back today. I get told yes we will call you back with options, once again I am speaking to the woman who sold me the couch- I do not want to speak to her as she isn’t going to be the one solving my problem I don’t need to be sold another piece of furniture like she attempted to do. I need either a refund or them expediting my couch at their expense because now this is 3 things going wrong, and at this point something needs to be thrown in, or give us the floor model at a discount for goodness sake? I can’t believe the lack of business sense here and customer appreciation I can’t believe you wait all day for people to call you back, and then they don’t when they say then will? I was VERY excited about this couch, my interaction with the sales lady and the day of viewing but am shocked at how bad this went. Willing to edit my review if this gets solved promptly but unless I spam call and email it doesn’t seem like it will. Utterly shocked at lack of care for customers.

If I could give these crooks a 0 I would. There was absolutely no communication whatsoever about needing a mattress protector to not void our warranty. Which is fine, but would have been nice to know this. Found this out afterwards. 2 years later. I had somebody come out and look at my mattress that isn’t even 2 years old yet, with extreme bunching of the pillow top. I was told there was absolutely NOTHING they could do for me, as there was a MINOR stain from us moving last year. They wouldn’t even offer to work with me. The girl who called me said her hands were tied and there was absolutely nothing they could do to rectify the situation at all. I will never step foot in this poor excuse of a business ever again. I would rather sleep on the floor at 9 months pregnant than EVER buy anything from these thieves ever again. DO NOT BUY HERE. Save yourself the headache and go to the brick instead ‍♀️ ——————————————————— Not sure why it will not let me add a new review …. So instead I will edit it. Leon’s has since seen this review I’ve left, and contacted me to make things right. The employee by the name of Tasneem called me to update me that she escalated my concern to the manufacturer and they are indeed replacing the mattress. Not sure what the 1.5” information is regarding that the owner is referring to , since it was never mentioned to me other than this review. But I am please that Tasneem has taken it upon herself ; and escalated this for me and making things right. Thank you Tasneem!

When my fridge died I had to replace it the next day, February 21st. I wasn't able to get to the store and the salesperson seemed helpful over the phone. He told me the height was only 69" at the hinge but would be 2" less the rest of the fridge and the depth was 33.5 including the handles. These measurements were not accurate and the fridge did not fit in my space. Leons wouldn't take it back so I had to wait a week to find and hire someone to come in and take out and raise the cupboard so it would fit. I left the protective coating on until the fridge was in place the first week of March. When I removed the protective coating there was a dent in the door. Again I phoned Leon's and was told too bad!! They said someone would call me both times I contacted them but that never happened..Got a call after this review update was posted. They said they would give me $80.00 back and I'm still waiting...please read the appliance reviews before ever buying anything here DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM LEONS IF YOU EXPECT ANY SORT OF CUSTOMER SERVICE! Still waiting for the photos Leon's said they took...such poor customer service

Update: They reached out to say the manufacturer would not send the part, so they replaced the couch. It's great that they replaced it but they lied to me for 6 months about the part being "shipped." I purchased a pull-out couch back in April 2022 and it broke in under a year (January 2023). This is a $1,900 couch! The pull-out function was probably used at most 10 times. They sent a technician out to look at it, and even he recommended replacing the whole couch as it would be difficult to fix where the part broke. Instead, they ordered part back in April 2023 which is still being "shipped." Every time I call customer service, they are super unhelpful and cannot provide updates as it's being "shipped" from China. They aren't offering any other solutions to the problem because if they can fix it, that's what they will do first. I purchased this pull-out for guests when they visit and instead, they get to sleep on an air mattress due to Leon's not fixing this couch in a timely manner. At this point, I don't think they plan on ever fixing the couch.

I am having the worst customer service by Leon’s. Deerfoot meadows in the SE. I purchased the Cleopatra dining room set a few weeks ago. It was assembled by their store technician who was super nice. However, one of the arm chairs didn’t come in a sealed box and it was missing screws. The corner of the table top was damaged as well. I have been calling and leaving them messages and no one has called me yet to follow up, nothing has been resolved as of now. I recommend people to go and buy furniture elsewhere where you are valued. Update**** All I wanted was a genuine apology. The table top that came two days ago was installed today by Kelwyn from trans global. He was amazing. He made sure everything was done right. The reinstallation date that worked for me was Monday, so it was nice that everything was finished today (he accommodated my busy work schedule). The table is really nice. Personally, I am not going to buy anything from Leon’s, especially anything that requires assembling.Thank you.

I recently purchased a sectional and dining table set. It was scheduled to be delivered the following week but I paid upfront and in full for both items. Totalling almost $5k. When the items were delivered, the $4000 sectional had a rip and the dining chairs were sent with missing parts (2 chairs had no legs). I been in touch with Leon’s for 2 weeks now and they agreed their fault but only offered a $100 for inconvenience and the items would be replaced. Chair legs to arrive another 4 weeks later. I tried reaching the sales guy twice and no return to my call or email. I am highly disappointed to have spent $5000 and receive this kind of service ! Not to mention I planed events at my home over the next 4 weeks and here I am disgruntled because I have an incomplete dining set and ripped sofa. How would you feel if you paid $5000 and didn’t get what you paid for ?? Plus you have to wait it out for another 4weeks ?? Leons I really thought you were better than this!

Terrible quality and even worse customer service. Beware when you purchase from here. They will sell you something that is very poor quality and then basically you’re on your own as they will not help you. *Update: Their response is not correct. I phoned and left more than one message that they did not respond to. I phoned the manufacturer and was told they didn't make the product anymore (would have been nice to know that first). I then went into the store to make them give me a new one. The fireplace is clicking and a tech confirmed it. It's been over a month and I haven't gotten a new fireplace and I have to pick it up whenever it arrives as they won't deliver it to me. I will never shop here again and will advise anyone who asks me not to shop there either. *Another update! It will now take 3 to 4 weeks to deliver the new fireplace from EDMONTON to CALGARY. What an efficient and competent place to buy from!

Too bad there is no 0 stars. I bought furniture 3-4 months ago. I spilled a glass of water on my dining table a week ago. I stand up and quickly wiped it. In two days that area of kitchen table bubbled up. I called and while being on the phone sent a picture to the girl. I checked if she received it. She did. I explained situation. Next day they told that this is my problem not their. I went to the store to speak to someone. Lady laughed to my face. I asked what is funny. She sent other lady who said that I never told that I spilled water. By her words I lied. I was shocked… they were laughing to the face and lying about information. Please avoid this place! HORRIBLE customer service! Telling not truth and after you purchased a piece they don’t know you! And they are do not care!!! AVOID this place! Ps I read reviews after… my bad… PLEASE READ REVIEWS BEFORE

If you like a place where the sales people sit around and chat and completely ignore you this is the place. I said hello to one of them and he gave me a dirty look no hello nothing... One women just stood in the middle of the sofas with her arms crossed. Basically you are unprofessional and aren't in the business of making money. Well we took our six figure income over to the Brick near you and we were welcomed with friendly informative professional staff who helped is buy a beautiful sofa and two arm chairs. Your staff should go on a field trip there and get some skills. I have a hard time believing you make sure nobody is missed since all your sales team sat around and didn't do anything not even a hello. It wasn't busy in there at all. I spent my 5000.00 plus at the Brick very satisfied.

Revised August 3- after some persistence, Leon’s has replaced the damaged mattress which arrived today. While this experience was frustrating they did end up rectifying the situation. Absolutely ridiculous. Recently purchased a mattress for $1300, WATCHED the delivery driver shove the mattress in the elevator which I commented on. Reported damage within 72 hours to my sales rep, the customer care email and to the store directly, had a technician confirm that there was irreversible damage to the mattress (though the damage is small it was still delivered to me damaged). And was denied any action for my claim. I DO NOT recommend Leon’s and will never be purchasing from here again.

Amazing service. In my building I have to book a time slot for an elevator and the only spot I could get was for 2 days later, in the afternoon. Normally downtown delivery is in the mornings but the nice lady that schedules the appointments made an exception and managed to squeeze me in as the last for that day. The delivery guys were excellent. Despite the tracking app link, they still called me to let me know when to expect them and listened to the instructions I gave them. They also took off their shoes, installed the legs on my couch and removed all packaging materials. FYI: In store staff were very helpful. Would definitely buy from Leon's again!

We had purchased numerous pieces of furniture as we moved into our new house. We purchased a dining room table with chairs and a couple of chair legs were cracked and could not be used for months. I had to go into the store to find out what was going on with our replacements. I was not impressed with customer service response that they had no idea how much longer it would take. A week later they called for me to pick up. They also are aware that the table needs touched up as the brown paint was chipped in areas. I am still waiting and it’s been since April. I will not be purchasing anything ever again from Leons.

The delivery guys were awesome, so pleasant, friendly and accommodating. They quickly got my new sectional in place and moved it around until we got it in just the right spot! I ordered from Leon’s as I had an awful delivery experience with my dining set from Wayfair, this experience was entirely different, Leon’s delivery was EXCEPTIONAL!! Leon’s should provide delivery staff with a square or something to easily take tips as I’m sure most people don’t have cash these days and these guys definitely deserve tips!!

Raj (salesman) he has made our journey with Leon’s completely successful. There were some hiccups with delivery delays and flexi finances services but as committed he cleared all the obstacles and made it all work for us. Both Delivery man did good care while delivering us our products. We found some damage on base material after opening the box but again that’s another hiccup to deal with and I am positive Leon’s will make it all work for us as committed. Highly recommend RAJ at southwest store location.

we attended leons calgary on the advise if a sales representative and a pending sale. when we decided on our purchase we were told the item was nor on sale. we tried to explain what we were told and the leons rep clearly did not care nor did he investigate what we were told. we WERE long time customers of leons, but after this experience we will not return and we will be sure to share our experience with others. so, beware of leons sales. they are not what they state and sales reps do little to assist you

Great prices, great service, we ordered the Portland sofa bed sectional from Leon's. It was on sale for 1399 regularly 1899. The couch is well made, sturdy and comfortable. They told us 4-5 weeks shipping but it came in 3 weeks! Free delivery was great. The guys showed up and helped us move our old sofa because it was blocking the door. They had the boxes into our living room 10 minutes after that. It was so easy to put together that my partner did it pretty much on his own in 15 minutes.

We had ordered dining table set with Leon's, everything was perfect, even the delivery guys did a great job. They were very careful in unloading the items. But there was a small damage in one of the edges of the table. We contacted the customer service for replacement. The customer service people were very much responsive n we got the dining table replaced the next day. Very much satisfied with the dining table set, Leon's have good collection of furnitures. We bought two sofas, and the salesman was just right, no pushing OR disinterest. The nice thing about Leon's is the products are in stock! Delivery was really fast too. The two guys who delivered had no problem finding our address. They were cheerful and respectful also. They placed the furniture where we wanted it. Then they took all packing materials back with them, and were done in about 15 minutes. Will definitely consider LEON'S for any future purchases!

We purchased a couch back in september and it os now November. Leons (in the south) knew our couch was going to be later than expected but never notified us. By week 8, when i followed up, they told us that our couch was delayed and we would not see it until another 8 week later. This was not acceptable as no one contacted us nor would it be here before Christmas as planned. Extremely disapointed in the Leons South location and the horrible comminucation.

It was a good experience to purchase from Leon's but wasn't got that feeling where a customer service agent was doing above and beyond especially when it comes to price. The delivery time slot was conveyed to us a day before and was done so hastly like the delivery team had gizzilions of orders. So overall it was a good experience to shop at Leon's.

Avoid this branch!! Very poor after sales service. After buying sofas, coffee table & side table they didn’t want to price match their own offer 2 weeks later which was 20% OFF. I called them and they kept on delaying it and managers refuse to speak. In store they make so many stupid excuses to delay the price match refund, it’s unbelievable.

Emmanuel and Cory provided excellent service in delivering a heavy loveseat and sofa - the reclining type. They cared about bringing them in without damage, and were courteous to take their boots off before entering our home. They had them all put together, set in place and packing material gone in 20 min. Kudos to the guys!

Bed and box spring were delivered when they said it would. Really like the tracking system used by Leon's. I wish more companies did the same. No waiting around all day wondering when the delivery would happen. The delivery men were courteous and professional and were in and out quickly after setting up the bed.
