I recently had the most incredible massage experience with Jason O'Neil Blackwood (Massage Therapist). From the moment I stepped into his tranquil and inviting studio, I knew I was in for a treat. His warm and friendly demeanor instantly put me at ease, creating an atmosphere of relaxation and comfort. Jason's expertise and skill in the art of massage are truly unmatched. With a keen understanding of the body's needs, he tailored the session to address my specific areas of tension and discomfort. What truly sets Jason apart is his intuitive approach and attention to detail. Throughout the session, he maintained a seamless flow, combining different techniques that left me feeling rejuvenated and completely refreshed. I had the pleasure of working with SaiPravallika Kadimi & Smitha Kosalaram (Physio Therapist) recently, and I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care and expertise they had provided. From the moment I stepped into the clinic, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for what turned out to be a truly transformative experience. Sai and Smitha possesses an unparalleled level of knowledge and skill in their field, demonstrating a deep understanding of the complexities of the human body. Their ability to assess my condition with precision and compassion was remarkable, instilling in me a sense of confidence that I was in the best hands possible. Not only is they are exceptionally skilled, but their professionalism and respect for privacy were evident throughout the entire session.

Went here in mid-July, looking for a place that offers OHIP covered physical therapy (dr. prescribed, for a 91 year old senior citizen that is on a fixed income). We had our names added to their waiting list, and were informed that it would be about late August or early September before we could get in. We finally got a call at the end of October for an appointment. On the day, we arrived 15 mins early, just in case there was more paperwork to do, or a chance to get in and out earlier than planned. Nope, we waited for 45 mins, only to be told that the therapist was running late and would be about another 30 mins or so. We were given the option to wait or come back the next evening, so we decided to come back. We returned the next evening as requested and were sent to a treatment room to wait for the therapist to join us. He came to greet us five minutes late for our appointment time and asked if it would be alright for us to wait just five more minutes, then he would come and get started. We agreed politely, trying to be understanding and he walked away. After waiting for almost twenty more minutes, we decided to leave, tired of waiting for so long. I really hope that no one else has had such a poor experience with this place. After already waiting for 3 months, this was too much. Very disappointed.

I had a pain in a piriformis muscle located in the rear of the body. Physiotherapist Shabir Muhammed made the correct diagnosis!! He prescribed some exercises for my lower body at home, and exercise at the clinic gymnasium. The hard working gym. Physio Assistant Puvishan Akilan made me do some very effective targeted exercises specifically for me. He was outstanding! At the end of the gymnasium session, my situation significantly improved. I also commend Rebecca, the friendly and helpful receptionist. I again visited this clinic for pain in the upper right buttock muscles, with occasional sharp nerve pain extending all the way to the toes of my right leg. This time I saw physiotherapist Soumya Jha, who correctly identified the cause of the problem, and the source of the pain: the lower pain muscles. The pain was radiating from the lower back to the buttock muscles. Only a qualified physiotherapist could recognize this. With therapy in the clinic and exercises at home I recovered quickly. Now I have to be careful how I shovel snow! Thus I am very satisfied with the tender care offered by physiotherapist Soumya Jha, another plus for this clinic!

If you are searching for the best, you've definitely found it. Talk about caring, genuine, friendly and persistent. You won't be disappointed. They've got great teamwork. I've been receiving treatment for approximately 3 and a half months and although it has been very challenging, it is the staff encouragement that helps keep me going. My physiotherapist Iriny is awesome!! She pushes you because she believes in you and ultimately wants to see you at your best. Any questions or concerns I've had are always taken into consideration, are always addressed and she keeps you informed about your progress. She's truthful, honest and really brightens up your day. Not to mention Ms. Rose as well, who really cares and has been helping me along this journey. Experience has been amazing, and it was ultimately the receptionist who answered the phone the day I was searching for physiotherapy treatment that caused me to choose the Scarborough Village location. When you walk in they know you by name, they're really like family. Awesome!

I will start by saying I have been in and out of clinics for physiotherapy almost all my life. I have had 4 knee operations and have tried many different clinics. This time is not knee related but so far Lifemark Scarborough Village is my favourite place to do physiotherapy. In just two short sessions I have much relief in my area if injury. Shabir is who I book with and he is great, no bs kind of practitioner, makes me have hope for a full recovery under his care. I will also say that the clinic director Jason is a stand up guy from the very first appointment when he asked if I wanted a coffee or anything, and we hadn't even met yet. This just shows that he does care about the patients. Also I see how the clinic is run, and it is organized, punctual and all around a positive vibe and pleasure to be there. Thanks to Jason, Shabir and the rest of the team at Scarborough Village for making my injury that much easier on me.

The staffs are not professional enough, seems to care less about patients! Tried to book appointment several times with several official means but never heard back! Even they refused to provide service at one instance then changed their statement about their refusal to “the physio is very busy and will not be able to provide FAF today” after waiting for the physio for more than an hour! It happened when I finally got them over phone to book appointment that was booked for a day in advance and unfortunately I was late by 25 minutes as I had pre-scheduled commitments! It’s a shame and I have doubts whether these people are under oath to provide service or not! Other times the physio hardly had time to see patients and the patients are mostly treated by the assistance where as other places I have witnessed are mostly taken care by physio and assistants are there only to assist!

My father has had severe back pain and trouble walking due to a slipped disk and the care that he’s received from Lifemark has been excellent! His therapist, Muhammad Shabir has been attentive, patient, and is fantastic at his job. He takes his time to explain options and procedures and we can tell that his main priority is to make his client better. I’m sure he’s like this with everyone he treats. The front desk is also very friendly, and the director, Jason is great. He greets all of the clients who come in by name and has a rapport with his staff that makes it evident that he’s an excellent leader. I absolutely recommended this clinic to those who need the care.

I had treatment here for the better part of the year, during which time I had three different therapists. I started with Anew and she was kind and knowledge and the last therapist I had was Irene and she was excellent, very knowledgeable and gave me new exercises each session and I saw the most improvement with her. If I had just had those two therapists I would probably give the clinic a 5 rating. The reason for my 1 star rating is in between I had Jacob and friends have told me he is back at the clinic now. He was rude, did not explain anything to me and made no effort with my treatment. Stay away if you are assigned him!!!!

Very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable staff. Work with your schedule. The environment is welcoming. Very clean and sterile. I was recently presented with an option to switch to another physiotherapy centre and immediately opted out. I felt comfortable with Lifemark Scarborough and the staff. It is very evident that privacy, space and as well as a well manage/kept, building, and equipments reassures me that the saftey and wellbeing of their clientele is important. As a person of a plus size range, I appreciate that I do not feel trapped or squeezed into a small and uncomfortable space. The facility is spacious.

I was pleasantly surprised by the great experience after my first time visiting. All the staff were very welcoming and professional. It was my first time for a massage ever and I had come in to address some minor aches and a general wellness visit. Jason was the massage therapist who helped me. He made me feel very comfortable and his massages were great -- not too gentle, not painful. He was excellent in explaining things and answering all my questions and was very polite and respectful. I would definitely book another visit and recommend Lifemark Scarborough Village and Jason.

This place is a gem! Everyone is kind and helpful. Jason was very welcoming and ensured my back injury was well taken care of by providing appropriate home care supplies. My massage therapist Marcela has the best massages I have ever received! I could not have recovered fully without her; she was patient and understanding and went over and beyond to ensure I felt better than how I came in. Riti, my physiotherapist, was so kind and helpful in providing tips to guide me through my daily activities, which has supported me through my back injury. Highly recommend! :) <3

Eleanor Lemos -> Massage therapist – Professional, caring and compassionate. Such staffs are company’s most valuable asset and their strength, commitment and dedication is highly commendable.

I have been attending Lifemark Clinic for the past 6 months and under the skilled hands of Mr. Shabir Muhammad I am delighted to say that I have achieved 99% recovery from my problem. Mr Muhammad was recommended to me by a friend who thinks very highly of him. I found him to be professional and attentive. It's with great relief that I write this review of the clinic. Laura, the receptionist, has graciously taken care of the Insurance forms for me. She makes everything seem so simple. (Relief #1). Sabrina, my very calm PT, is working methodically and confidently on my injury. She is optimistic and encouraging. Improvements are slowly happening. ( Big relief #2). Jessica, my massage therapist, is gentle & soothing. (Bonus relief #3) This clinic seems to be well organized. I've certainly been treated with kindness and competency on each visit.

I must say I was quite nervous at first . I was met with such happy cheerfulness from all staff . I greatly needed encouragement re progress or so I thought . I could see my progress in healing , movement and endurance. Staff were encouraging, explain things well . I left knowing I was well on the way to recovery with exercises to continue to get back my full strength. I know it was the staff’s attitudes that really helped me so much. Severe Axonal Polyneuropathy has caused nerve damage in my lower and upper limbs. Catherine Reodica (with Physio Assistant experience) at Lifemark Scarborough Village, is helping me stay hopeful, and I'm already seeing progress, after only 3 massages. Catherine's lower body massages are bringing back muscle and nerve connections. She is so kind, empathetic, and patient with my balance issues ( not "rushing" me & providing assistance as needed). Catherine's heart shows in her massage skill and her interactions with her clients.

Since the best therapist at Lifemark has been sick that place is no more the way it use to be. My appointment with another therapist today was at 1:45 pm, at 2:25 pm I left without any treatment, and because of the mishap I had missed the appointment with my doctor too. What a shame. A few words for the “the office manager” ( I don’t know her name) please be more attentive to your job and return the calls when I leave you a voicemail, you’re not up to handle people in need of pain relief.

I have had such a great experience at Lifemark Scarborough Village. Special thanks to Shabir and Katherine for helping me improve on my back and neck while also making me feel completely comfortable during my visits. Very positive atmosphere, kind staff, very clean and on top of following COVID-19 policies and procedures. You can tell that everyone here really loves their jobs and care about their patients/clients as well. 100% would recommend physiotherapy clinic to anyone.

I have received physiotherapy from Shabir Muhammad and massage therapy from Eleanor Lemos since September 2021 which continues to this day. I’m truly grateful for their knowledge and services since my back injury. They both have extensive knowledge in their respective fields and always feel like they treated me with kindness and consideration. All the staff are great and very attentive. I rediscovered this clinic after I’ve been experiencing neck/back pain for the last 2+ years and haven’t been able to find good, effective care elsewhere. This is the best treatment I have had so far. My Physiotherapist Namita has just not been a therapist but an encourager, supporter and good listener. She has also helped me to walk through my crisis. I have been seeing Marcela for massages for about 5 months now. I am very pleased with her technique and she is sensitive to my issues. She has given me great exercises to address my hip mobility issues. She is pleasant and kind, we have some great conversations! The office staff are great, polite and receptive (Rebecca). The office manager (don’t know his name, but he knows mine) is friendly and on-the-ball.

I have tried a few different physiotherapy clinics and have found Lifemark to be the best. This is due especially to Namita Patel. She challenges you beyond your comfort zone but the results are worth it! She is kind, caring, patient, funny, encouraging and very knowledgeable. She takes the time to explain why we are doing a particular exercise to help you understand your recovery. I highly recommend her!

I came in with an elbow injury and Jason at the front desk and Shabir were amazing. Shabir made sure that I was always comfortable and answered any questions I had. He also provided me great alternatives to my exercise routine when I mentioned I didn't have the right equipment. Overall, I would highly recommend Shabir to everyone and the clinic in general due to the very kind staff and the cleanliness.

I've had physio therapy with Shabir for the past couple months after a car accident and he is great! He put me on a path for a fast recovery with easy to do exercises. Katherine for massage therapy has also been a great help. All the staff I have had an encounter with are super friendly and welcoming! Definitely recommended this place!

I've been attending this clinic for a few months now regarding an injury to my knee. All the staff have been more than caring and understanding during my ongoing rehabilitation. Currently I am working with Emily Cooke for the next stage of rehab. She has been a real pleasure to work with, even though she can be tough. No Pain No Gain.

Great location with great staff members. Muhammad Shabir is an awesome Registered Physiotherapist filled with knowledge and experience. He is a very kind individual and really cares about his patients. Overall, I have seen great progress in my self while going to this clinic and seeing Muhammad Shabir for my therapy.

I had my frozen shoulder and concussion treatment in this location. I recommend the physiotherapist Shabir and the occasional therapist Rowen here. The front desk people are always welcoming and ready to serve you. I am thankful to them. The therapists provided me with strategies and exercises to recover faster.

After my foot fracture, I was under another physiotherapist. I began physiotherapy with Shabir shortly after and there was a considerable difference. He answers all questions to the best of his ability and individualizes manual physiotherapy to maximize the outcome. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
