What an excellent place! Came in for the first time today from out of town (kinglake) and I'm super impressed. Staff were lovely, courteous and took great pains to make sure my order was correct from the start. The business owner is friendly and obviously takes his customers and their business seriously. Lovely clean establishment, great choice of chicken, salad and vegetable combos. I ordered a souvalaki for myself and it is simply delicious. Ordered a plain salad (lettuce and cucumber, no dressing), a quarter chicken and chips for my youngest son (9) and as I stated above all the staff took great pains to male sure our order was as requested. Cannot commend this business enough, it's really lovely to find a place that is truly above your average chicken shop. It isn't pretentious by anymeans, the food they serve is quite simple in itself, but you really can taste and feel the care they have for cooking and presenting it so well. If I could give more than five stars I would ✨️

I went in at 2pm for a late lunch. I was greeted by a rude, hateful girl who seemed to only want to get rid of my partner and I. We waited 10 minutes to be served food that had been sitting in the display case all day. The fried chicken was dry, bland and had no meat to it. The burger I got had cold chicken, a dry bun and soggy lettuce and tomato. The 1/4 chicken box with pasta salad looked like someone had thrown it back up and the chips were as salty as the person who served me. Overall the quality of the food is poor, the prices are way too high for what you get and the service is appalling.

There are a few chicken shops in the mernda/doreen area, this is hands down the best of them all. I have tried them all, multiple times, and this is as good is it gets. The staff are always lovely. The salads are always fresh and all delicious. The chickens are beautiful and the chicken burgers (tropical burger is my favourite) are ENOURMOUS and bloody delicious. Fresh, crunchy, tasty chips to go with everything are always a must. Get around it, get into it and see if I'm wrong. Thanks heaps,as a great machine once said "I'll be back".

The food here is always fresh and delicious for very good price. I highly recommend, my favourite place to eat in all of melbourne, you must try it!! Great burgers and the chicken Parmas are huge

I know that likes come down to personal taste and maybe that's the reason why some reviews have put less stars, however, this is hands down the best chicken shop in the area. Like many others who have reviewed before me, I have found the chicken and chips to be so yummy, value for money, generous and full of flavour. The salads also are beautiful.

Once again another faultless meal from John and the ladies. Food was fresh hot and delicious the gravy was great also. Was very busy tonight but my meals were ready within 10 mins. Salads were nice and fresh also. I recommend you try the chicken ceaser salad. John always goes above and beyond to make sure your food is always outstanding. Highly recommend.

Tried this place for the first time this afternoon as we are new to the area, and will definitely be a regular! My partner said the place was super clean and everything they had on display looked delicious, and this place has the best chips and gravy I've had in a long time! Schnitzel pack is huge for only $10.50, enough to feed 2 people. Love it!!!

Got a whole chicken and large chips for dinner. The chicken was ok, but the chips would be the worst chips I've ever had, they were not fresh , dry cold chips obviously their oil hasn't been changed either. There was a staff member wandering around like they had no idea what they were doing. Absolutely disgusting wont be going back there again.

The burgers here are awesome. Huge sourdough buns, grilled chicken, my favourite is the tropical burger.

Very clean chicken shop with a wide variety on the menu. Their burgers are huge and very juicy so you’ve been warned. Napkins and don’t try to eat and drive. Generous chips serves and yummy gravy. Salads are good except the chicken caesar lacked fresh cow lettuce and had too much dressing.

Came here last week to get dinner on my way home and have to say it was great. The staff were so lovely and helpful with my decision because I couldn’t choose. Would recommend the whole chicken, chips for under $20. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Plenty of parking out the front.

Just had catering for my husbands 40th birthday. There was plenty of food, salads were all fresh, chicken didn't disappoint, always moist - never dry. Amazing value for money, will definitely come back here to cater our next event! Great food! Great service!

We mainly get the chicken and chips packs and man are they tasty! Their seasoning on the chicken and the chips is some of the nicest I've had and you get masses of chips in the packs. Their burgers are huge and tasty as well. Highly recommended.

Best chicken in the surrounding areas. Get in early, very busy currently. 110% better than any chicken shop in the area (compared to Sammys poor food) It's worth an extra 5 minutes drive.

Normally the chicken has been good in the past however the past few times; its so soggy its disgusting! The foal bag the chicken is in is full of juice/ water. The wait is also too long when all food is ready to go!! I won't be returning.

Have never been disappointed. Service is always personal and friendly. A family fave to be sure. Chicken always perfect and the seasoned chips keep us coming back regularly. Try the pumpkin salad with feta - delicious!

The food and service was fantastic 10/10 tasty chicken, a lot of chips and fresh salad. And value for money. I will be going there again.

As chicken shops go, you can't really go wrong. Chicken always tender and cooked to perfection. Selection of salads, always nice. Chips hot and well seasoned. Generous serves of everything. Reasonably priced.

22% price increase? Normally this place is buzzing but now with a whopping 22% price increase the shop was empty and all display where full local people have become watchdog and find alternatives.

Great chicken shop. Chicken is perfectly cooked and their fillet burgers are a good challenge. Large array of salads and menu options. Quickly becoming a lunch favourite.

$35 for 2 burgers and small chips. $16 for 8 nuggets and a kids portion of chips. Total rip job, never returning.
