I'm never one to complain about services. I understand that ensuring that everyone is satisfied day in and day out with the little time offered each day is a hard task to accomplish. I'm writing simply to warn others about this business. I ordered a set of flowers to be delivered on valentines day, I reached out to Liz and her company early valentines day morning and left a voicemail explaining the exact location of where the flowers were going, just in case of any confusion. A few hours go by, no call back. I take the time to reach out to a company that contracts with Liz Flowers expressing my concerns. They were unable to reach Liz's Flowers and said the best that they can do is email them on my behalf. The day goes on and no flowers delivered. This is hands down one of the biggest let downs I have had with a family business ever. They never took the time to contact me to inform me that my flowers were not going to arrive on time. I have been changed the full amount for the flowers, and still have not received a refund after a handful of calls and emails. If you are simply looking for a place to get flowers and are reading this review go elsewhere, spend the extra $10-20 dollars, it is not worth buying flowers that will never come.

We recently had our wedding at the Humphrey’s Half Moon Inn and we had Liz Flowers be our florist. From the beginning Liz has been involved and available to answer all of our questions. We went with a tropical theme, which we were told is the most costly. Liz still went above and beyond. When we arrived to the church, my bouquet was so beautiful. My daughter and Matron of Honor had her their own bouquets, and they were stunning. We also had corsages and boutonnieres for our family. When we arrived to the reception, the centerpieces and sweetheart table were stunning, we were speechless. There were so much vibrant colors. Birds of Paradise was one of our main themed flowers, and they aren’t the easiest to mix with other flowers due to their spikey like nature. But, Liz made them look so elegant, tasteful and unique. She also added the most beautiful flowers and palm leaves to the cake. We had a beautiful venue but the flowers really elevated the place. We were working with a really tight budget and Liz made it happen. Liz was kind, creative, talented and communicative. We highly recommend Liz Flowers for your wedding or party event.

DO NOT! DO NOT! GO TO THIS FLOWER SHOP. THERE ARE BETTER FLOWER SHOPS AROUND SAN DIEGO MORE PROFESSIONAL AND WITH BETTER CUSTUMER SERVICE. I placed an order (Bouquet of 50 roses) to be delivered during valentines day and I called 20 times and sent 2 emails because I wanted to figure out at what time was my order going to be delivered. I was not able to get a hold of no one, and my calls were being rejected. I had to leave work early and make the drive to their shop, only to be received with rudeness and unprofessional employees (several not just one person). I decided to pick up the order and take it to myself before I left i then asked to see if I could get a refund for the delivery since they were nor going to be delivered and the employee stated that I would get it later because they are too "busy". I know this place has very good reviews, but I did not have a good experience with this business, nor will I be returning. Hopefully, I save you money and the struggle of dealing with this business.

Updated July 2023: returned for another bouquet this year for the same person and although I didn't get a text w a preview like last year, the bouquet was beautiful and I'm very pleased. Did the custom option again -which I LOVE btw. Another 5 star worthy bouquet. July 2022: I did the custom flower delivery. I loved getting to choose a price point. I just sent the feel and vibe I wanted, basic color scheme and one specific flower I wanted included . I placed the order less than 24hrs before delivery was needed. I received a text with a picture of the bouquet before it was delivered and they delivered in the time frame I requested. GORGEOUS! Just what I hoped for. I'm in the Bay Area so there was no way for me to go in the shop if there was a problem. They did a wonderful job. I would use them again! Thank you!

A beautiful 80th birthday bouquet was delivered to my home. However a few days later they started to die. I didn't want to notify the sender and had never dealt with Liz. However I decided to inform them that the flowers were not holding up. Liz was really kind. She apologize for the inconvenience and asked if I could wait till the new year for a new arrangement. I said that was fine. This was Just before Christmas. The phone rang on January 2 and she said delivery would be on the 3rd. The door bell rang at around 8:30 a.m. A beautiful colorful arrangement was in my home. Everyone has complemented on the arrangement In this day and age it is a real blessing to me to have a company that stand's behind their word. Thank you so much words can't describe or express my gratitude Liz and delivery staff.

Liz was amazing! She really listened to our needs and the flowers she put together for us were beautiful. We were on the fence for hiring a wedding florist because of the cost, but she was affordable and really made it work for us. Her response was fast, and sent sample pictures of the centerpieces, bouquets, and arch flowers since we were planning out of town. We had our wedding in the hottest weekend of the year, and the flowers all survived and looked beautiful still at the end of the day. The arrangement was absolutely stunning. Looked exactly like the picture on website. I was sending my friend an arrangement, and put the wrong address by accident. The shop went to deliver, but called me right away to notify me my friend no longer lived at that address I provided. It was completely my mistake, but they were so kind, understanding, and patient as I retrieved my friends updated address. They delivered to the correct address within minutes, and without any problem. 10/10 for both; the kind service, and BEAUTIFUL arrangement. I will definitely use Liz's flowers again, and would recommend to anyone in San Diego. Thank you Liz's Flowers!!!

This is third or fourth arrangement I’ve bought for my wife from Liz’s Flowers, and as per usual they didn’t disappoint. My wife and I are from KC, where Tobler’s Flowers is the standard. After moving to San Diego and doing some research I felt Liz’s would be a good local replacement for the quality arrangements I expected. At this point, it’s clear that Liz’s Flowers is the standard in San Diego and probably beyond! My wife absolutely loves every arrangement she gets from there and they tend to last for at least two weeks, if not more. This is my very first review ever! I'm not a resident of California but had need to send flowers for a special occasion to a resident in San Diego. I placed my order(very user friendly system) and waited, the flowers arrived on time and I even received a confirmation of delivery! The delivery was flawless, they were extremely helpful as it was not the easiest place to deliver to and the arrangement was BEAUTIFUL! I ordered a last min (midday order) flower arrangement (Angelic Grace) to be delivered same day and was worried both about the timing and (as always with arrangements) if what was delivered would be as nice as the picture of the offering online. I went with the middle upgrade and it was a reasonable price and the recipient was incredibly pleased with the arrangement. She said, "thank you for the amazing flowers that arrived this evening. They are so beautiful - the biggest arrangement I have ever received! Thank you for brightening my week"

My mom loved her flowers! She said it's probably the most beautiful arrangement she's ever gotten! She sent me a picture and it's just as pictured...maybe even better! As before when I ordered from Liz's Flowers, we were really pleased. This time it was for someone having surgery next week! Decided, "Why wait"? She was so happy and texted me a photo of the flowers right away. Beautiful arrangement this time is a lovely red vase! Really gorgeous! I just wish Bloom Nation site had a way to tip the driver. Fortunately we live across the street so I was able to run out when I saw her drive up! Even the delivery person was exceptional! Just lovely and professional!

I have been coming to Liz's flowers for months. The women in there never cease to amaze me on how beautiful they can create a bouquet. They know what I order everytime I come in. The service is very friendly and the women always have a smile on their face. No matter how busy they are. They always have time for the other customers. I haven't ordered anything to be delivered so I cannot say anything on that. I love and she loves the Stargazers and Eucalyptus combo...

I came here for my girl friends bday flowers last year. I walked in they greeted me immediately and took their time asking me what I was looking for. I showed the florist a couple of pictures on my phone and she was able to get me literally exactly what I wanted. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff and fairly priced. What I really liked the most is that they actually listen to what you're requesting and they don't try to up sell you at all.

Liz and her team did an amazing job for our wedding. We cannot thank her enough for the beautiful arch she made, the petals down the aisle, the bridal bouquet, lei's and centerpieces. She even stayed back to decorate our cake with flowers. She truly is a professional and her flowers were so fresh and looked absolutely stunning. Please give this Flower shop your business. We walked in 5 minutes before closing, looking for a corsage. My Brother being very ill was given a 3hr pass from the Hospital to attend a Father/Daughter dance. LF called to let me know that they'd attempted delivery, then called her to reschedule and would be redelivering a couple days later when she's back in town. It’s worth it to shop local! I bought a bouquet of flowers for a family and within 30 minutes they were hand delivered! I was shocked with how fast they delivered the bouquet and the family said it was beautiful. What was even more heartwarming was that the flowers made a mourning family smile that really needed it. I was visiting from out of town and needed flowers delivered for my fiances birthday. The flowers showed up and they were beautiful! Very convenient as well, as they were delivered on a Saturday and showed up around 10 AM. Could not recommend Liz's flowers enough for flower delivery, prices and selection were better than other flower delivery options in San Diego.

I've utilized their services several times now, and they have always been excellent. This has to be the best florist I've worked with, every bouquet is amazing, even when it's simple. Eileen is amazing, she is very intuitive with putting together something based off your ideas. They are always friendly and welcoming, definitely recommended and worth your time.

I am in Florida and wanted to surprise my wife with roses. I had some questions about what I saw on the website and when I called they were very friendly and made sure to answer all my questions. They delivered same day and I got a video call from her witg the biggest smile. She loved them. I highly recommend.

I was very happy with the arrangement she did and was charged $88.30 as agreed. 4 days later I noticed I was charged again for $75.42. I didn't address it right away (bad idea!) and after reading some of the reviews it sounds unlikely I'll receive the money I'm owed. I'll see what happens when I talk with her.

I'm impressed by their service and prices. Most places are too expensive for the average person. Liz's Flowers has many options and amazing customer service. It's really hard to find a florist who makes EXACTLY the perfect bouquet for my artist sister. Bold, striking, creative, big, a mix of flowers of all types from delicate roses to weird alien looking puffballs. It is exactly, exactly what I wanted. And stunning as well.
