If you wanna go where everybody knows your name... and wants to know everything else about you, and is willing to let you know everything about them, then this is your kinda place. If you wanna go somewhere for a nice, quiet, low profile bottle of beer (like I was hoping to), this is NOT your kinda place! Not saying there's anything inherently wrong w the place (they serve king cans, which I've never seen any other place do before!), the owner and regulars are super friendly, it's just I was looking for a place where I can have a nice anonymous bottle of beer, and this didn't seem to be it, at least not on this night (April 2023). The owner says they are open late (like 1 or 2 AM) even on Mondays and Tuesdays, so if that's true, that's pretty rare in Ottawa. My one bottle of beer was priced very reasonably, nothing unusual. Can't comment in the food as I bailed without ordering anything.

Just stopped in for a sub. Saw this little hole in the wall and said to myself "Hey why not!" I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED... This place is your average hole in the wall bar/restaurant, but it has more of a dive bar feel (this is actually a good thing sometimes).. My sub was fantastic, has that personal touch handmade taste to it that simply can't be replicated by large chains. Recommend if you happen to be near here, stop in for a beer and a sub for sure! You won't regret it!

Such a great bar. The staff member was amazing, extremely nice an very welcoming. Me an my mom are just visiting from outta town and went for a couple drinks and we both loved the friendly, local atmosphere. The other customers there seemed wonderful too especially this one amazing women we met Would absolutely recommend this place and will definitely be going back the next time im in town

Went in for dinner as my brother needed a quick bite before getting on the road. Was told that at 530PM that everything was shut down and they could maybe do a sandwich. If you want to see the local drunks put down people this is your place though.

The owners are amazingly friendly and courteous... the food was absolutely fantastic, drinks were well priced and the atmosphere was on point, I'd recommend this local bar to all who would like to enjoy a great evening with some yummy snacks

Been here a few times it is a great local pool bar! The bartender Sana is phenomenal he was always on top of everything quick and efficiently. Have 0 complaints about the food was done quick and was very tasty, I got a roast beef sandwich.

love this place! love the people and the food is worth the price. pizza is incredible but the star is their garlic dip for their pizza. homemade and so good! this is one of my go to spots for late night, affordable comfort food!

My husband and I go here sometimes for drink and a quick game of pool. We love the staff, they are so friendly it's like going to a friend's house. The food is good quality, all fresh and well made.

Lived here 7 years and just saw this place walking to the corner store. The bartender is charming, he makes you feel welcome and doesn't push you to buy anything. Come on down to the Local Tavern

This place hands down has the most amazing food and service. Great environment where everyone feels like family and the owners are pretty mediocre too :p just kidding they’re incredible people!!

Walked in and was greeted by a few pleasant drunks (at around 2pm). Owner is very friendly, served me up a Bacon and Tomato sandwich. Nothing fancy, but mix in a coffee and I was satisfied.

This place is got home felt atmosphere very nice people but they are a little pricy and the kitchen is open all day for is set reasonably priced. But I think it's a little high fir quality

Extremely enjoyable atmosphere. I come here every Sunday and have lots of fun. Pool and karaoke in a local bar is more than lots of places near me offer.

Been multiple times now, pizza is great and so is poutine! Staff is always friendly and welcoming, would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.
