I have had the worst experience getting an appliance delivered from this store. I bought a Washer and Dryer from here on 5/4/2020, and was told that delivery was backed up due to the pandemic. No problem, totally understandable given the state of the world. I asked for the earliest delivery appointment, and was told that I could get this delivered on Monday 5/11 to which I happily accepted. I then paid, and left. Fast forward to 5/11 - I get a phone call from someone from this store that I believe was named Josh, and he states that they accidentally sold one of my units to another customer, and they were unable to make delivery today because they didn't have another unit in stock. Josh then states that he's going to call around to other stores to see if anything is in stock, and he'd give me a call back. Josh never called back, so I am left without any information about my delivery. He seemed more concerned about making sure I knew this was someone else's fault and not his instead of being concerned with addressing the issue at hand. I called back the following morning, and tried to get in touch with someone at the store for an update. I get bounced around, hung up on once, put back in the queue several times, and eventually had a lady transfer me to herself 3 times in a row. I'm normally a pretty understanding person but at this point I had to go full Karen and ask to speak to a manager because I wasn't getting any help and I had already wasted so much time trying to figure out the status of my order. I finally get a manager on the phone named Sean/Shawn, and he took my phone number and looked up my order in 2 minutes. Why did it take a manager to plug in a phone number and look at a delivery date? Anyways, Sean/Shawn informs me that my delivery has been rescheduled to Thursday. Mind you, no one checked to confirm this with me to see if I was even available Thursday, so had I not gone through the phone call jungle I wouldn't know when to expect them. Whatever. At this point I am tired of being on the phone, so I take my dissatisfaction and my Thursday appointment and cut my losses. Around comes Thursday. The promised day. The day I can finally start to knock out my pile of laundry that is tall enough to start in the NBA. I get a call around 1130 saying that they once again do not have one of my units in stock, so they are unable to make delivery today, and that they would have to push it to Friday or Saturday and that I'd get a call back with my new delivery appointment. Prior experience makes me skeptic but I guess we'll see here soon. Updates to follow on this. Long story short, or TLDR as the kids say, this has been a wholly underwhelming experience with Lowes and their staff has missed the mark at every opportunity they've had to get this on track. I live very close to here, but I think I'll be driving a bit further from now on if this is the type of service you can expect.
What started out as a great experience getting some major appliances ended in my decision to never visit the store again. This was my Lowe's store, btw, until yesterday. I moved about five miles recently and still went to this store. I have an old friend who works there. I felt a loyalty to this location versus others. Just to let you know that this decision was not made impulsively. The staff members who work in the appliance department were great, especially Evert. He was genial and helpful, went out of his way to get the job done. I got very good deals as they are having Black Friday all month long (November 2017). The issues started with the women at the customer service desk. Now, isn't it the job of the people at the actual customer service desk to practice good customer service, if not great? Obviously, at this location, the customer service specialists have a chip on their shoulders when it comes to certain customers. Not one, but two of these women decided to get an attitude about both a return and a price match. One staff member actually ignored me for the entire transaction to price match, just didn't speak to me and handed me my receipt. The other specifically told me that they could not refund my purchase even with a receipt. She said that all that I could get is a store credit. They have a thirty day satisfaction guarantee. Meaningless. I will not go back to the store and am more than a little tempted to return my $900 worth of appliances.
This review is just for delivery (the store shopping is fine). Bad communication experience! I ordered a washer online and to be delivered to my home. First, I called the local store to confirm the inventory before placing the online order, and the store said it would take 4 weeks while it's only 2 weeks online. The store rep insisted that there was an option online about adding the installation and haul-away option, which I was never able to find. I trusted the online info more than the store, so I completed the online order. The washer was supposed to be delivered last Friday (11/10), but no one from delivery has called me to confirm, so I called the store on Thu to reschedule the delivery because I didn't have the chance to rearrange my working schedule for the delivery. The store signed me up for Tue (11/15) morning delivery, but they didn't call on Mon to confirm as supposed to. I called a few times on Tue morning to the delivery but no one answered until 10AM. Then, they told the it's scheduled for afternoon! Luckily, my house is not far from the store and they were able to make it in this late morning. However, it still messed up my schedule because the delivery and installation wouldn't be completed before noon!!! I'm still waiting for them to come while typing out the email. The online staff has been really friendly and helpful, but the local store is not effective! VERY DISAPPOINTED at the communication!!!
Update: It's now Tuesday around 4pm. I have yet to hear anything from Lowe's to reschedule & have called the store 14 times. No one ever answers the phone! ** In reference to appliance purchase/delivery - I may continue to patronize other areas of the store that don't require delivery ** I ordered/paid for a washer/dryer for delivery on 10Dec from 8-1030am. At 1030, I called and was connected to the warehouse for delivery status. Was told that the truck was late and they were running behind. My delivery time was estimated to be 1256pm, but more realistically around 130-2pm. Called back at 230 was connected to appliance sales. Was told that they couldn't give me a status & I needed to call JB Hunt, the 3PL, but he didn't have the number... Finally JB Hunt called, saying they were running late and they should be calling me soon letting me know they are on the way. At 530pm JB Hunt called back stating the truck was in an accident and Lowe's would be calling me very soon to reschedule delivery. Well, here is the impact: 1. I sold my place and bought a new one. I had Saturday afternoon/Sunday to finish the deep clean of the old place. As I lost all day Saturday, I had to pay $300 for a cleaning crew to complete the job for me 2. I am currently at a laundromat doing my laundry, losing 2+ more hours of my life so I have clothes to wear Also, still waiting to hear from Lowe's about rescheduling delivery.
The reason I come to this lowes is because it's right next to my house. I will ABSOLUTELY never utilize Lowe's in general ever again due to their delivery, PRO service, and customer service. I have currently been waiting on a deliver for 5 weeks to complete a job. they have called me multiple times stating it's on it's way but then it will never come. I have confirmed other stores have the product and they will not ship it from a location within 5 miles away from the location that should be delivering to me. Every time I call in, they say they will escalate it, but then nothing ever happens. SO if you feel as though you should use this company for large orders and get it delivered, BEWARE, DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. 2nd complaint, I have ordered a front door from this company. The door was ordered for pick up service specifically because their delivery service IS TERRIBLE. The door came scuffed up after a custom paint job was ordered. After trying to reason with them and at least get some sort of touch up paint to match the color of where it was scuffed.... NO RESOLUTION WAS GIVEN. This company is terrible. No reps have reached out to me to answer my requests or complaints. The general manager is impossible to get ahold of when calling in, and the pro service is for fools. Just go to Home Depot and do it all without a hassle.
I’m going to be completely honest in starting my five star review, that I waited an hour for my curbside pick up. I probably could have gone inside and gotten my items in less time, but I didn’t have to expose myself to strangers in their store, and I’m grateful for that. Once it was apparent that my order was not ready as I was informed, I was met with sincere apologies, and expedition of my order. I have no doubt these store associates are not being paid their worth for the magnitude of their stressful work environment at this time. The manager, Evan, was obviously beside himself with the situation, and went above and beyond, to fulfill an order of items I really didn’t need (except the lawnmower, that was a desperate purchase). I expect hiccups at this moment in our economy, and I hope all consumers keep in mind life right now is crazy, stressful, totally out of ordinary, and many businesses have adapted to serve YOU, and risk employees health and safety in the process, probably without adequate compensation. Please be patient, gracious, and thankful, even if you have to wait a bit.
I worked with Sandy Gonzalez and a team of associates today, and my experience exceeded my expectations. The customer service I received from Sandy was very professional and detailed in her delivery. I felt valued as a customer as she gave support throughout an appliance pickup to include navigating the loading. My visit could have been very complicated when one of the appliances dropped. Sandy had the appliance replaced with no prompting from me. She stayed with me throughout the process of getting another appliance, making sure I had the extra parts we needed to install, and finally exceptional assistance with getting the appliances on the truck safely without damage. Had it not been for Sandy, a return and/or another trip would have been inevitable. Lowes has always been my go-to store, but after working with Sandy and the other sales associate in appliances, I have decided to make this Lowes my Lowes! I wished I had all the associates names that assisted us today. You all were remarkable! Thank you for an exceptional customer service experience. Keep up the great work!
Do NOT buy any appliances from this store. Originally they messed up with saying that my dishwasher wasn't in stock when setting up my instal. Which was wrong because we went to this store specifically because they had one in stock. They then magically found it after I told them it was labeled sold with my last name. Come install day and the install company called to say they didn't have my diswashwer in stock. I called and talked to Ed, who informed me he would call me back TWO seperate times and NEVER did. I called and talked to a manager she said she would call me back to try and rectify the issue, 2.5 hours later she NEVER called back. Called for the FIFTH time to talk to a manager, the first one tried to tell me I didn't have an order (he typed my phone number in wrong but blamed me for having the wrong store) so he forwareded me to another manager. She found my order instantly. Nothing was done to fix the situation, so I am now out a day of work, with no dishwasher. I have been a loyal lowes customer for years, but after this horrible experience I will not go back.
I recently ordered a dryer and other items for installation for said dryer. It was an online order. It was delivered 2 days late without some of the items I needed for installation. The items they did send were wrong. I paid for pickup and haul away of the old dryer. The guys delivering the dryer refused to haul away and my grandson had to return the bad items. I called the store to get them to come back and haul away the old dryer. Finally someone called me and said it would be picked up on Wednesday. No one showed up and when I called the store no one answers the phone. I finally got the number of JB Hunt delivery from another Lowe’s store and called to verify the pickup. They told me that there was no order for pickup. They said that they would contact the store and maybe it would be picked up later in the week. Couldn’t give me a day or time and said someone would call me. Due to the terrible service and no one even answering the phones at the Glendale store. I will never purchase another appliance from Lowe’s again.
Stopped in 2 days ago to purchase some equipment and was told it is shift change and nobody was there to help me? I went home and ordered the items online and went to their customer service pickup the next day which worked out well. I called the following day as I was missing a packaged part. Got hung up 2 times in a row. 3rd time I called and asked to talk to a manager. The girl's response to me was 'Huh?' She then put me on hold and i got hung up a 3rd time. I have gone over there for convenience for years but over the last few weeks from having to stand in line to check out, lack of personnel to help out, poor customer service calling in and they even stopped putting the option of 0 for customer service? I am questioning whether they are planning on going out of business if not on their own based on the lack of service they are giving customers now. Home Depot is far for me to go to but the last couple times I've gone there at 96 and Corporation drive their customer service is off the charts.
Absolutely terrible! I placed an online order for $260 worth of merchandise ($260 was charged to my account as a pending transaction which is still deducted from my account balance), I received an email stating that all four items were there! When i get there, only 1 item is ready for pickup! So i take my one item that was $19, get in my ride (truck is in the shop so i had to uber) and i receive an email and notification that my account was charged a pending trasnaction AGAIN for $241!!! $260 - $19= $241! Why was i charged TWICE!? So i call the store, after 5 attempts FINALLY SOMEONE ANSWERS! I explain whats going on, they pick up employee was rude and of no help at all, she then says i'll connect you to a manager.... i wait for five more minutes of the phone ringing only to get no response and the call ended! Done with Lowe's especially this location!!!
I could not get anybody to help me find anything the only time I've really gone to Lowe's is when I am buying my spring flowers and plants to put out so I was going in to buy some things to do some projects inside the house and I needed to know where a few things were I asked a couple of guys who work there and I got I don't know where it's at and I thought well couldn't you find somebody to help me when I finally found the aisle where the nails were there were only two shelves with nails I'm not sure what was going on here but I have to be honest and say I left there with nothing and went to Menards and bought everything I needed because people would help me there I will still go to this place for my flowers and plants in the next few weeks but that will be it
We had a really bad experience with costumer service on our trip today. Our cashier Gina was not helpful at all. We came to return paint that had no pigment in it. She refused because the date was an older one because the lid had been reused (done by the paint counter). She automatically said “There’s nothing I can do for you.” We told her that it was an old lid they had put on it and showed her our receipt. She told us we couldn’t get store credit. She then grabbed a head cashier who told us we could get another paint with the same base in place. Everyone else was so pleasant and I need them to know this review is not about them. Our cashier was wonderful, someone else helped us in the store. Gina however did not help us at all.
I came to buy MDF cut to 6x3 feet. I spoke to one employee who rudely said pick your wood and wait in the back, it'll be several minutes. We waited 10 minutes and no one came. We approached the same gentlemen who again said the same thing. We found another employee who thought the machine to cut the wood was broken. We went back to the first employee and he told us he'll make a phone call about it. We wait again. Ultimately he told us it will be quicker to go to another store. This process wasted 30 minutes of our time and we left empty handed. We drove to Home Depot and in 10 minutes I had my wood cut to size without issues and excellent customer service. You have lost a customer Lowes. Your customer service is terrible.
hmm second time placing an online order with Lowe's. Last time my order got lost at the store somehow. spend 4 months tracking it down only to find it was damaged and an associate at tossed it somewhere. got a refund moved on. this week placed an order on Lowe's and 2 weeks later My product I ordered is no where to be found... associates are confused. managers refuse to come onto the floor to help the associates. cant get a refund without a manager because order is showing ready for pickup. my advice is if its in the store buy it. It will be a high quality product. But if its online go somewhere else. On a side note its comforting to see I am not the only person with issues dealing with Lowe's online ordering.
The man I work for spends thousands here every year on his rentals. Service is usually great in person, but forget getting anyone to answer the phone. I have been trying to reschedule a washer delivery, and I've been unsuccessful at all efforts. Try to choose the deliveries extension, nobody ever answers. Call and ask to speak to a manger, he calls back, the call gets disconnected. Call the front desk and speak to an associate who takes my name and number and promises to call back, but she doesn't and it's been a week now. It's like this every time I have an issue with a product delivery. Exhausted. So now I have to make a trip back to the store to get this accomplished, which is so frustrating.
Great store, always loyal. I hate to pick on a gratis service, but the free air dispenser has been deteriorating the last couple of weeks and today has reached the point where it is leaking so badly from the plunger under the lever that it is no longer able to increase tire pressure beyond about 20-25 psi. I never utilize this service yet have found myself relying heavily on it the last few weeks, and feel the obligation to report it here. NOTE TO USERS OF FREE AIR SERVICES: ROLL THE HOSE UP NICELY AFTER USE AND HANG IT SAFELY ON THE SIDE RACK, MOST DAMAGE TO THE DONGLE IS A DIRECT RESULT OF HOSE BEING RUN OVER REPEATEDLY, SO KEEP IT OFF THE GROUND. IT'S FOR ALL OF US.
Stopped by this afternoon, I needed a cabinet handle screw. I must say I have reached a stage in life where I can no longer see well and am short in the patience department. I’ve been here before and the staff is always helpful and today was no exception. I would have spent a lot of time trying to find that one bolt needed out of the several thousand. Thank goodness for the helpful sales clerk he knew just where to look. I would have been quite aggravated for my efforts and likely given up. If you’re looking for something you can find it here. And if you need assistance like me, handicap carts are available. Nice store, Thanks for your help.
DONT ORDER ON LINE! It’s a waste of time! I ordered 9 bags of mulch at 1200 today for pick up today. Simple order. At 8pm I checked the status and it still said it was being processed. I decided to go ahead and pick it up. Went to garden center. I was told I had to go to Customer Service first. Waited in line 15 minutes only for the guy to tell me it wasn’t ready and if I wanted it tonite, to go get it myself! Complete waste of time. So I did go get it myself. Customer service at this Lowe’s is TERRIBLE every time I come. I will be going to Menards from now on. Their customer service is great!
A Customer Service Representative here named Asiah was wonderful and so helpful! We came in to return an item we ended up not needing and despite my husband having lost the receipt and not having the card he used for the purchase and then spending like 5 minutes trying to look for his card number - Asiah was patient and understanding and was able to pull up our receipt in the system and processed the return for us! Understandably, any other employee would likely be annoyed at the ordeal but she was nothing but kind and helpful; with a smile on her face the whole time! Great customer service!!
This is a very unsafe store to deliver a flatbed truckload of goods! Drivers beware this store has no concern of the safety of drivers. The motoring public will nearly hit you outside of your truck just to get around you while you're trying to work safely on the south side of the building and deliver THEIR GOODS! I would avoid delivering here if necessary! The management here needs to address this issue immediately and block traffic while trucks are trying to unload and deliver goods on that side of the store. Not only for the safety of drivers, but for the safety of it's employees as well.
Ordered a w/d set to be delivered. All is good until delivery date & only the dryer shows. No word from Lowe’s to inform us on the change. We have to call. Days later the washer finally arrives but without hoses. We again have to call. Another couple days later & the hoses arrive but not the steaming hose we paid extra for. It will be 4 delivery days now for what should have been a 1 day thing. No consideration of the customers time or about doing a job correctly. Oh, for all this inconvenience, they waived the $79 delivery We REALLY need more options than big box stores.
My wife and I bought a washer and dryer from here. Two weeks later I waited for a scheduled Saturday delivery. The delivery was delayed by 2.5 hours. The washer we bought had to be delivered from a store an hour away? I was unhappy and went to the store. Everyone I dealt with was apologetic and I ended up with a large credit back (about 35%) on our purchase. The delivery guys were really great and did a great job of being careful with our items. Things didn't happen like they should have and everyone was good about making it right. I recommend this store.
Long lines (pictured line across the entire store), indifferent cashier... I had some concrete pavers. She couldn't find the code for them on the sheet in front of her. But instead of asking someone for help, she just said "I don't know". I was checking out at the lumber desk so I had to walk literally to the opposite corner of the store to get the item number for her. Then when I got back, she had closed her register and left so I had to get back to the end of the line and wait again. :-/ I'll go to he Michigan road one before this one in the future.
Ordering a stove in store was a mess. Employees not trained well. Delivery men delivered the wrong oven and it was ridiculously difficult to get someone on the phone to fix it. Would be told someone would call me back and would never hear from them again. Finally get someone to answer after calling all day and being on hold for almost 20 minutes and she cant even fix the problem. Called corporate and they handled it in about 1 minutes flat, except now I have to try and get the general manager to actually call me back. Would not recommend.
The female manager? Disgusting attitude towards me as a delivery driver. Same bad attitude as my first visit here: understaffed and we'll come get you. Ok so after 1 hour passes, I go check up on things. Still got to wait. Oh, by the way , a Dayton driver and a DDS driver were both allowed to unload before me while I waited and observed. I was here before both of those guys. Not at all happy coming here. "0" plans for a 3rd trip here with the likes of "bad attitude" female manager here at this Lowe's. Not my fault you're understaffed.
Tom in the Door area was fantastic! After getting getting runaround from Home Depot and people not following up when they said they would, we stopped into Lowes to look at storm doors and spoke with Tom. He took care of the logistics and followed up each time he said he would - there was no runaround whatsoever. I'm sure he would say he was just doing his job, but I really appreciate his attentiveness. Our final install appointment is now scheduled and we are looking forward to having a new storm door on Friday. Thanks again Tom!
This place needs an overhaul in management. Staff is mostly friendly enough, however management can not handle change at all. They take multiple days every time do you an online order. When you go to pickup they have no person set to run items out so they bring them out whenever the customer service desk has no customers at it, read: you'll be waiting for hours. Change is the one constant in our life, Lowes needs to put management in place that can actual adapt to change and handle new challenges when they approach.
Return desk older woman would not return a plumbing item that had never been used. She went & got Staci (man manager & he wouldn’t return either. It was blatenly clear it had never been used tags still on it. I went to next Lowe’s & they not only returned it, they said they could tell it had never been used. Poor service on Keystone Ave Glendale mall location than I have ever experienced in my life- Headquarters need to know who they have making such dumb decisions, staring with older woman at return desk.
Leslie in the Garden Center gave me the BEST customer service today. I needed help getting a wheel barrow I bought and couldn't find anyone to help me. She literally went above and beyond what I expected. She was so friendly and nice. I felt bad because she was busy with a task and I asked her if she could find someone to help me. It took her about 10min to locate it and bring it out and she even offered to put it in my car for me. I love this location and her genuine attention made me love it even more.
Lowe's is fairly accessible. Parking & entry are good, and wheelchair users are disadvantaged only slightly more than the TAB consumer since they stock up to the warehouse ceiling. People with noise or other sense issues may try to shop during non-peak hours to minimize difficulty. The store has decent consumer prices and a wide selection. 2022 EDIT: much of the blue parking has been given to other purposes like curbside pickup. Less than half of the original disabled parking spots are gone.
Messy store, only one employee is helpful. Today an employee hurried me out if the flooring aisle while I was getting the flooring I needed. What happened to customer service? In the rush, I got the wrong thing. I thanked him on the way out for waiting for me for 20 seconds, but he didn't even make eye contact. Then when I returned it, a different employee couldn't be bothered to say "Do you have your receipt?" Just gestured at it in my hand.
Walked in to buy an item today in aisle 61, bay 1... There is no aisle 61. Gave up and placed an online order in the parking lot before I went home. They close at 10pm. I get a text at 10:23pm. I realize they have other duties after closing time, that's fine. I check my order - an item is missing. The reason? "Cancelled - no longer want item." I definitely wanted the item, and did not cancel. Highly disappointed. Will be my 1st and last time.
The saw at the Shadeland Lowes has been broken for an interminable amount of time. The store is dark and out of stock for e.verything. It feels like a store going out of business. I went to Keystone and the saw worked. The store was bright an bustling. The workers approached me to help me not hide like at the Shadeland store. It is more convenient for me to go to the Shadeland Lowes but I will now drive the extra miles. They were excellent.
In SELF CHECK OUT while everyone else is checking out their own items... My husband and I walks up and an older employee takes our cart and start scanning our items like we can't scan them ourselves. I'm guessing they didn't trust us to scan our own items. The self check out employee says "You'd be surprised how many people steals from here." We had let the Managers know hopefully something will be done about it.
For years this place has been greatly understaffed and with all the government handouts recently it seems that so many of the people who are working these days didn't qualify for welfare / handouts or dont know to apply. The people that want to work and enjoy working are left to handle the rest of the load. The people at this store who want to work should be sent to other locations and just shut this place down.
I shop here often. It is my goto place for home improvement and lawn and garden . I get the veteran's discount and it is much better than Menards 11% rebate. No form to mail in and you don't pay tge taxes on the full amount than pay postage and wait for a certificate you can only use at menards. Plus everything is priced. For some reason Menards stop pricing their pacers and mulch in the lawn and garden area.
Unlike their ads when they first opened, Lowe's does not mean low prices. Headlunds across the street will have all you need (except of course heavy construction materials) with expert service from the owners and longtime staff who know where everything is so you can stand at the counter while they go get it for you and tell you exactly what you need to get the job you need done at 20-40% less..
This is for semis or delivery trucks: If u come south on Rural St., Lowe's sits behind the Target. U will see the Target first. Just behind the Target turn right/west. The Lowe's truck docks are there, closest to the street. I got unloaded quickly but there was no one ahead of me. Easy docks to back into. I gave them 5 stars because I got unloaded quick & the dock employees were super nice.
They never have cashiers when I visit, just self checkout. Today there were several people needing assistance, and one undertrained lady manning the self checkout lanes. Some ppl just left out of frustration. Lowes should stop being cheap and hire, train and staff check out staff. Some things you can't do on the self service lines like primo water, and it's a hassle every time.
If you need questions answered, this is not the best Lowe's to visit. They have a few long-term employees that are helpful & knowledgeable, but are not always working. Compared to 75% of the staff that knows absolutely nothing. It's smaller than other Lowe's, so not as much inventory. But, if you know what you need, and don't need assistance, it's very convenient location.
I purchased a lawnmower 3 months ago. Just a little push mower. Used it maybe 4 times. Went to cut the yard for hopefully the final time this year. To my surprise there was a pop or bang. The piston I guess cause a hole i. The side of the mower. 30 day return policy. Couldn't exchange it. Can't get ahold of Briggs and Stratton. Even though I was aggravated good service
I had items to return, and they were not accepted since the PVC pipe was not clean enough. Any dirt on any item was rejected. I guess the employee just did not want to work that day. Lowes does not have to deal with the return and the employee does not have to do anything. Everyone wins except the customer. I returned it to another Lowes without any questions.
If you order online a delivery from this store, good luck getting it. They sent updates that our washer was coming, and then change the date repeatedly with the logistics company and do not communicate changes to the buyer. When you call into the store you cannot get through to any associates no matter how you use the phone tree. Horrible, non-present service.
noone cares about anything here. i have been told several times "i dont know" when asking about the location of a product. no "let me page someone" or "i think its between aisles 10-15" just "i dont know that aint my department" associates will look at you waiting is line while they sit behind their department desk on their phone and actively ignore you.
Truckers be aware of this place. They are very slow and female receiving manager is extremely rude. She makes you wait regardless of your appointment time. In our case appointment was scheduled for 7am and now is 2 pm truck still not empty. They not care about your ELD or your next pickup. We are not sending our trucks to this location, definitely.
It's difficult to get someone on the phone. When I was able to get someone at the pro desk for a question, 9/14./23 at 11:54am, instead of giving me a simple yes or no answer they transferred me. When I called back they hung up twice. It's less frustrating to go to Home Depot or Menards. This is not bad customer service, it is ignoring customers.
Okay I sure was great I was told I could get a discount on a damaged box of trash bags waited 19 minutes the manager told me no product was still good I was not about to take the chance of bags on the inside of box. And other managers the deducted the price even though I had a few damaged bags I was fine with that. Next time I'll go to Menards
This store has inventory/restock issues and has for several years. I'm reviewing today because I went in for a shovel last night and snow shovels were the only shovels to be found...completely sold out on the fixture. I am guessing stock is sitting in the back because the site shows multiple shovel styles available today for pick up.
We always get exactly what we need at lowes. The service inside of the store makes it hard to look up tutorials or locations of items, but you can get your steps in walking around trying to find the exact items for your project, staff is really nice always and we do like the good value for our home improvement needs!
Staff is helpful, and put on the effort to help you find the product you ask. The return is a little slow but nothing crazy. They really have a good variety of brands. They are well stocked and the price is fair especially compare to the closer alternative. Store is clean, and the staff do a good job wearing a mask.
This is a very good store to buy anything for your home improvement needs. They generally have sales that save you money and most of the employees are very knowledgeable as to where to get the item your looking for. They have a great return policy as well. If you lose your receipts you still get in store credit.
Actually it's a big old zero for me noone could help with returns manager have sucked email came to reply for refund sucked tried bring stuff driver and can't hook up wanted to leave was never told by employee they didn't hook up need to find eletrication everything has been a joke and Hassel and want my refund
This is a GREAT Lowe's the staff is courteous and knowledgeable. If you find someone who doesn't know an answer they will find someone who does. Lines move pretty quickly as long as I can find someone to point me in the right direction which generally didn't take to long I'm generally in and out pretty quick.
They had what we needed for our projects. I am pleased Lowe's is at this location. Always busy with a great flow of customers. With self check out available, you can shop, pay, and be on your way. My favorite department is the seasonal one where I have purchased lawn mowers. Great prices. Great service.
There was a mixup with my chest freezer delivery and the manager Derrick did what he could to make it right. He helped upgrade me to a larger model and get it delivered by his staff, the same day too! I am wholly satisfied with their service and dedication to doing the right thing by their customers
We are redecorating our bathroom and purchased a Kohler toilet, one of the big boys lol. But when it was delivered it was broken. We took it back and customer service was so kind to us. Without a problem or hesitation they gave us another one and loaded it up on the truck . Thank you Lowe’s …
The garden center cashier was probably the busiest employee in the place...no, she was. I walked around the store while my boyfriend stood in line. Trust me, she was the busiest. I understand there is a shortage of employees but maybe rotate the employees you have. Something has to change.
I love shopping at Lowe's, I came in to buy some Red Mulch. The staff wasn't as helpful, but the store is always clean and organized. Hopefully I got a good batch of Red Mulch this year. Because last year it was a major discoloration difference. UPDATE: I RECEIVED A GREAT BATCH THIS YEAR
My experience at Lowe's was very professional. The customer service was excellent. I am new to the area and they were able to make the keys that I need made for my home. I know I will be visiting there often to add on more materials painting equipment I will be going to Lowe's for it.
I had a horrible experience at Lowe's with the online curbside pickup. I will not use them again. We waited an hour in 90 degree weather for our order. It was never bought out to the car after 5 phone conversations. I had to cancel the order. I am now waiting for my refund.
It's Lowe's, how can you possibly be disappointed? I've been to this location a million times for both business and personal reasons, and I have virtually nothing to complain about (except their lumber quality vs. price, you know Menards is the answer for lumber.) …
Customer service was great. Even though we needed a service they didn't provide, they were nice enough to offer alternatives. Very clean- products put away out of walkways making it safe for patrons. My favorite departments were the lighting, area rugs and garden center.
Mislabeled and misleading. No one cared. Lowe's is turning into the Walmart of home improvement stores Waited over 15 minutes at the paint desk and no one ever came... Customer service kept calling. Who is in charge of this store?! It's gotten so bad in the past 4 years
A great store to shop and train! I bring my dog here with me whenever I want to brush up on her training, most employees are super respectful when it comes to asking to pet my dog while only a few don't ask at all. It's still a great place to shop and bring your dog.
Worked with Patrick in flooring a few days ago and he made it easy to find what I was looking for and got the two pallets of flooring securely wrapped and loaded on my truck for me. For now on, I’ll be sure to look for him when I need something from that area.
I was having trouble finding the humidifier I wanted. It wasn't where the app had indicated when I went there. A kind employee stopped and asked me if I needed help. He helped me find the humidifier. Thanks Willie for going above and beyond! You're the best!
I was able to get everything I needed. The only thing I hate about Lowes is that there are always dogs in the store! I cannot understand why dogs are always in a hardware, building materials, etc type store. I hope no one is ever bitten. especially me.
Shipped me a damaged washer. Was told by two people I'd receive a discount for the damage. Then that changed to having the old one removed and a new one shipped in 3-4 weeks from now, or 10% off my next purchase (which for me would be maybe $5).
Not cool Lowe’s. Walking in it’s pretty clear you’re attempting to post your hours so they are known to the general public. But on a night when I needed a last minute supply for a project, things aren’t as accurate as I would have thought…
I received great help finding the things that I needed and then waited over 30 minutes to check out. This is the worst Lowes in the city for any kind of service. It seems they just don't care. The other Lowe's Northside in Carmel and some
I took a stem set from a delta bathroom faucet to the plumbing department and tried to match it with something in stock but only found something “similar”. I pushed the help button but it did not work so I asked the guy in tools to page
A terrible Lowe’s. The store itself is okay (nice try finding what you need in certain departments, plumbing comes to mind), but a majority of the staff is shockingly rude. Cashiers will sit and gossip with each other while you wait for
Seriously, not a good selection of trees...and cashiers in the garden center had NO IDEA where to find pretty basic bed plants...I was looking for phlox. Another customer found them and was so kind as to show us where they were located.
April is a great manager. I was doing a curbside pickup order as I had my son with me in the car, and I was waiting for a long while. I went in and she promptly helped me. She informed me that they did not have a person there that day
I would leave zero stars if that was a possibility. I paid for a washer, dryer, grill and some patio furniture on May 2nd. They were supposed to deliver today between 9 and 11. No phone call and no goods delivered. I tried calling the
Always liked Lowes, but that's when they actually had employees who didn't duck around corners to avoid customers with questions, and actual checkout clerks. If I'm going to have to do the work of an employee, I should get paid.
This Lowe is pretty much a second home to me in my pup! We typically make several runs into the store in a week and they always have what we need we need! As always the story gets additional points for being so dog friendly!
Satisfied :-) On my last bad review I got the attention of the management and was taken care of on my kitchen install. All my worries were addressed and now I'm a Happy Camper. I will continue business with Lowes.
I have been using Lowes for years. The staff is generally helpful. The inventory management is not the greatest. When I order online there is a good chance of delays or issues. Otherwise I like browsing the store
Beth, who works plumbing and electrical, was fantastic today! She went above an exceptional level with her service. I ended up not finding the item I wanted but was still happy with the service. Thank you, Beth!
Always have what I am looking for. The only thing is their associates avoid you like the plague when you start looking for someone to help. Lol. But when you find someone, they are always friendly and helpful!
I met the nicest employee there today! He noticed me struggling with my toddler and wiped down our cart and even helped me get her into the seat of the cart. Keep up the good work, it didn’t go unnoticed!
No cashiers. 4 self serve scanners. 20 people in line. No manager on duty, no manager voicemail. I would encourage skipping the line and walking out the front door without paying- employees do not care!
The staff at this Lowe's are all super nice! I bought wood shelving and they cut it to size for me and I got home to reorganize my kiddo's closet. I was quite proud of myself for the project. Thank you!
People are nice at this store, I needed to order some custom windows, Geromy Cunningham was extremely helpful both times I utlized their services. This lowes and the beech grove lowes are my go-to's.
I was in the other day looking for storage stuff and the nicest man helped me. His name was Kory. He was very polite with my extremely nervous puppy. Please tell him he is doing a great job!!
We love this lowes! We know a lot of the employees and they are super helpful! They’re always willing to assist us when we need help. They have really great deals and very centrally located.
Great customer service. Being severely handicapped the young lady who helped me I believe went out of her way to get me taken care of. Great job Lowe's for having hired employees like her!
The garden area was closed from the outside. Had gotten a cart right outside the garden center and had to go all around to the front and then all the way inside to the garden center. Wow.
Still on the downward spiral of big stores. Never enough employees, only 2 or 2 people who know what to tell me. It’s just bad, but the secret shoppers are still there in force
Love shopping at this Lowe's! They have a better selection & the best customer service. I'd rather shop here rather than Home Depot. Where HD rips their loyal customers OFF!
The worst low's store I have ever been in period lazy unhelpful staff Who are too busy chatting with each other to help customers. Go to home depot they are much better
Employees are so helpful, especially Clem! On multiple occasions, Clem has answered all of our questions thoroughly and is always so polite, knowledgeable, and kind.
Helpful worker, D’ or K’marian or something in the Garden Center. He helped me buy a new terra cotta pot and carried my heavy plant food. I am appreciative of him!
Thanks Lowe's for donation of lumber for new tennis wall at Indy parks (Tarkington park) 39th meridian st. Come out and enjoy the summer of tennis. …
Glendale Lowe's continues to disappoint. Went to buy a faucet stem tool, they only had an extra large size, useless for bathtub faucet stem.
Not always the best prices but the products are of pretty good quality. You pay for what you get. Staff is usually pretty helpful also.
Overall this store has been our go to when it comes to Home Improvement. It's far from perfect, but we keep going back.
Close, generally stocked and convenient. Card holder. At least a weekly visit with the 76-year-old home:-)
